This coffee shop is located in a nondescript strip mall with plenty of parking. Inside there are over half a dozen small tables. I visited early one weekday morning. Staff here were very friendly and conversational. I rarely make a comment like this but the young woman working the counter was stunningly beautiful. I ordered a hot honey cinnamon latte and chose a cinnamon pull-apart from the pastry case. I chose a table to sit at and took my warmed pastry, which was presented on a plate with knife and fork. My latte was delivered to my table a few moments later. The pastry was good; soft bread with cinnamon flavor, topped with a bit of not-overly-sweet frosting. Even though one normally uses their fingers for a pull-apart, I appreciated the provided utensils to keep my fingers from getting sticky. The latte had good points and bad. As a latte, it was excellent and I honestly enjoyed it. But although I could smell the cinnamon it just tasted like a regular, slightly sweetened latte; no cinnamon flavor. I think there was just a bit of cinnamon sprinkled on the foam; I should have stirred it into the latte rather than just having it float on top. There seemed to be a steady stream of regulars who came to grab a coffee to go. If I lived closer I'd likely be one of those regulars. read more

Ouch! $7.81 for a tea bag and steamed milk?! This was sadly a one and done for me. I will raise my eyebrows a little when loose leaf is over $7, but a Smith teabag that I have in my cupboard? Yikes. That is practically robbery. As you know, I'm not a fan of Starbucks or big chains and choose to support independent coffee shops, but not to the point where prices are ridiculous. Americano's has the absolute sweetest employees ever! They always assure me how much caffeine goes into my Vietnamese coffee, which is very appreciated! Every time I go in there, there's a gentleman always kind enough to bring me my drink if I find myself sitting down. It is such a sweet gesture! I am pretty sure he is the owner or manager but he is great! I rave about how great Americano was Vietnamese coffee is to anyone who will listen. I love my Friday evening pick me ups after work. tried the matcha with lavender and overall it had a really nice flavor--the lavender came through well and tasted great. However, it was a bit watered down, which you can actually tell from the color in the picture. With a stronger consistency, it would've been perfect. That said, the service was amazing--I felt really well taken care of. The interior is also super iconic. I loved the floors and chairs; the whole space has such a unique and aesthetic vibe. I'm always on the hunt for a new coffee shop. I've visited this coffee shop twice in the past month. They have a good selection of drinks, which is always a plus. The coffee shop is located off Marguerite in a small strip mall, near Saddleback College. The shop is cute and has several tables inside. The staff is friendly and the service is excellent. I've ordered a Pistachio Latte and a Cild brew with sweet cream . Both drinks were delicious. I particularly liked the Pistachio Latte, I'm currently on a Pistachio kick right now. I will say the drinks are more on the pricey side, particularly if you modify the with a flavor and add sweet cream. I paid $10 Medium flavored cold brew with sweet cream. Another underwhelming coffee experience. I saw a reel on Insta about this new coffee shop opening close to home. From the reel the inside looked weird and diner looking than a coffee shop looking but I decided to try it anyways. As I walked in, yes it did look like a diner than a coffee shop. A nice and friendly barista greeted me and I told her that I would like an iced espresso drink and she offered me to try one of the latte drinks. I opted for large pistachio latte (half sweet). On the menu board they have their prices ofcourse. The price for a large pastachio latte was $7.25 which I thought is steep considering the neighborhood. Yes, I have paid $10 for a latte in Newport because well it is NB, but I didn't expect that price is MV. The barista said, they put 4 shots of espresso in their large drinks which I was fine with. But upon paying, the price ended up being $8.91 or somewhere around there, which I was like What the heck?! Yes, I get my latte with whole milk, is there an upcharge for a milk with your latte?!! LOL Anyways, I didn't say anything considering that I thought that it will be fine as long as the drink is tasty. But, NOPE! The taste was watery and no flavor and very disappointing. I saw this shop on IG and have been wanting to go try their matcha. Today they advertised their Valentines Day BOGO offer and it was too sweet of a deal to pass up. We went at 7:15p and it was not busy. We were greeted by a friendly cheery barista named Sunny who took our order and made our drinks. Sometimes it's hard to find a legitimately good coffee spot when you live in an area so overfilled with chain spots. Me and a friend decided to try Americano's after seeing it open recently. I ordered a cinnamon bun latte and a bagel with cream cheese. My latte was so flavorful and the perfect amount of sweetness but it also had that yummy hint of cinnamon. I also loved the setup of the tables with the booth style seating, it made for a perfect coffee date with a friend. I hope this place does well, I will 100% be back. Had high hopes for this place. All the drink photos on Yelp looked great but none of the drinks we ordered tasted anything like how they looked or how they advertised. Based on how our drinks tasted, I doubt their other drinks will fare any better. The place was empty with two employees who were both really nice. They just opened and the shop is clean and tidy. Unfortunately, I don't think we'll be back because their drinks just didn't "hit it" with us. I didn't want to give 1 star because it's a new coffee shop and maybe they're still trying to figure it out. However, I still have to give my honest input. We're coffee and tea fanatics so 'the coffee and tea game' must be strong or decent for us to return. I've had better coffee or tea at a random mom & pop donut shop.
