She saw an ad for a speed dating event and I was like, girl no. But she was like let us at least try! I said I've been wanting to try this place anyway so let's go. Cereal and Cream is located down the way from where Tin Lizzy's was (RIP). Needless to say, we did not participate in the speed dating portion, but we did get to create some yummy milkshakes with some of our favorite cereals from our childhood. The space is very cute and nice for girls' get togethers. They also do brunch on weekends (check the hours for more info). The service was nice and friendly. I will be back soon!

It was just ok I don't see the hype. Customer service was warm and welcoming cute concept to chase those nostalgic moments, but I'm in no rush to return.

I gave it a four stars because it was a little bit more expensive than anticipated and they charged a dollar extra for the vegan options. Not sure why vegan options are more expensive, especially if they are similar in size as the non-vegan options.

They are pretty pricy, you do get to keep the jar. I had the salted Carmel cheesecake. There was a bit too much whip cream. The shake itself was very good. It was topped with a peice of cheesecake, which was still frozen. I was not a fan of it frozen, we ended up taking some of the dessert toppings home, and the cheesecake was good later. I was surprised my niece did not finish her Brookie Batter, she said it was too chocolate. I tried it, and it was too intense with the cocoa. They had a washing station if you get a jar shake to clean it and take it home.

ChocoLate is a gem! I stumbled upon this coffee shop needing a place to work on a Saturday morning, and I'm so glad I did. First off, the menu is extensive- a huge variety of both teas and coffee options - seriously, something for everyone! I opted for the Romanian Latte, and it was absolutely divine. Served perfectly hot, it was exactly what I needed. The barista was friendly and knowledgeable. He answered my questions and made suggestions. The atmosphere is quaint, clean, and upbeat. The decor is eclectic, and the 70's music they played created a good vibe - energetic but not distracting, perfect for getting work done. While I didn't try any pastries, they were clearly a hit! I overheard a phone order and saw regulars grabbing them, so they must be delicious. There's seating, both inside and out, and even a small back room you can reserve for groups. It was steady with people working, but still felt comfortable to work. The Romanian Latte alone will bring me back, but the massive selection of teas and coffees, along with the friendly service and great ambiance, make ChocoLate a must-try. Coffee shops like ChocoLate make the world a little sweeter. This is another tiny shop with comfty leather couches, free wireless internet and most importantly, delicious coffee! The tantalizing menu at ChocoLate occaisonally tempts me to stray from my typical black coffee. I love the ice cold frappes (vanilla, cookies & cream - even peanut butter) which are refreshing on a hot day. Or perhaps warm up in February with a hot white chocolate latte. What makes this shop unique is that all of their coffee is organic. There is a significant taste difference compared to other popular coffee chains. Even people who don't drink a lot of coffee find the drinks here to be tasty! They also make 100% fruit smoothies - go for a strawberry banana. I recommend ChocoLate to all! read more

Excellent beverages and excellent staff. There are tons of comfy sofas and seats to sit in and hang out while you drink your java. In warmer months, in addition they have a veranda. With a purchase you get free web that's really quite quick. Overall, a fine area coffee shop read more

Location and Parking Perc has a few locations, I have been to the location in Tucker, I am currently writing this review while at the East Lake location, which is located at the intersection of Hosea Williams Drive and Second Ave. There are a few spaces to park on the street but there is also a parking lot with plenty of free spaces. Venue and Atmosphere From the first time I stepped in to Perc, they had me. From the bright colors of the coffee bags, to the airiness of the space and the great playlist (think Snoh Aalegra, Thee Sacred Souls, and Cleo Sol). At the East Lake location there is plenty of seating inside, and also outside seating, which I opted for both times that I came, gotta enjoy this good weather right? Food and drinks I had the same thing both days, the Good Times Latte with a little extra syrup and the Crunch Wrap. I am not being dramatic when I say that the Crunch Wrap is hands down one of the BEST breakfast items I've had at any coffee shop I've been to. That probably sounds like hyperbole, but at one point I was going to a new coffee shop every week, so I promise it's not. It's eggs, cheese, hash browns, your choice of sausage or bacon (can't go wrong with either), and their special Perc sauce wrapped into a tortilla and griddled to perfection, and from the first bite to the last perfection it is. The latte is made with their in house vanilla lavender syrup and it is just the perfect amount of sweetness that I like. Service Service is fast and friendly, and they will complement your outfit, so wear something cool. Verdict If coming back twice in a row isn't an indicator that I plan to be a regular here then I'm not sure what is lol. Come here for the coffee and food, stay for the vibes. I know I will!
