Rite from the start Shannon was patient, accommodating, and above all else professional. When it came to the actual signing of the lease the process was super streamlined and easy. The property was as advertised and was in top condition thanks to Glen. All rental companies are very accommodating and responsive before the lease is signed. Where the real stars show themselves is after all the paperwork is done and you're in the new place. We looked at the property before hand and noticed a grade on the parking lot. Mom has limited mobility but felt like it would not be a problem. After about a week after she moved in it was apparent that the grade was too much for her. I called Shannon on Friday with our concerns and expected an answer in a few weeks. To my surprise on Monday afternoon Shannon had arranged for a safe spot in the parking lot to be striped and signed for handicapped parking. This is a 4 plex with 4 parking spaces. When paying rent at their office they would not even give a receipt until I demanded one. Afterwards, on multiple occasions, they seemed like it was such a inconvenience having to write a receipt. They never do inspections on there properties either. Not one in the entire time I lived there. As for repairs, they take forever, so much so that the maintenance man just gave me his cell number so I can get things fixed in a timely matter. They never fixed the fences that i reported multiple times. So the dog kept getting out and finally was picked up by the pound. I was very transparent with them through this process and communicated everything to them. I was well aware of the lease break fee and paying for rent until someone leases the property. I was charged for leaves that were between the chicken wire and the fence, to screw in a door knob that was loose, a towel bar that never stayed on the wall ( was not damaged just loose) minor patch job? But yet I filled in all small nail holes. And so much more!! They refuse to do an in person walk through, because they are scammers and will charge you for EVERY little thing.. as you can see in the pictures this house was left in better condition than I received it. They refuse to show you proof of what they charge you with. They even tried to charge me for water that was in my name. As you can see in the picture the account was in my name and no balance was due as I paid the remaining balance once they applied my deposit. Natalie is by far so UNPROFESSIONAL and was extremely rude when called out about the unlawful charges. She stated she would credit me the water as she knew she was in the wrong and was against the law. She won't own up to it but I did get a credit in the water after months of fighting with her. Funny thing she stated the account was transferred into their name. However the ledger from the water company is in my name. So tell me how the water company would give ME access to a corporate account?? They don't and these people are full of it. Sadly, I had to pay for the ridiculous charges that in the state of NM are considered normal wear and tear. But, they know the average person won't take them to court that's why they do what they do. Sadly, taking care of a sick family member put me in a position of suing them... at the end of the day I'm FINALLY done with these people.. and would never recommend anyone rent from them. I don't know if she is related to Mandy which is the only reason I can see for her to continue to keep her on. IF Mandy handles it, it will get done eventually but leaving it up to Stephnie is a no go. Sadly, Mandy would rather lose my business then correct her hire. She gave me a choice to find another company or do all the legwork myself for contractors as the one she uses is not licensed and per Mandy barely speaks English. Since I live in Tucson, I can't do it all myself. Even finding a new manager is hard as all the ones I had before Mandy were horrific and I so appreciated her when she took it over but now she has become distant in managing the success of her company.
