Every detail feels intentional and creatively combined -- from the beautiful art screens on the windows to the barstools made with skateboard backs. Favorites are the vegan bahn mi (with fried tofu and cashew pate, crunchy picked vegetables) the cardamom pancakes and the cheddar biscuits. Biscuits are huge and buttery with a moist interior and a crunchy outside. The pancakes are the biggest pancakes I've ever seen! They were bigger than our heads. We got three to share for the table but honestly one would have been enough. Cocktails are strong and the bloody mary was perfectly spicy. Service can be a little slow at times but was friendly and helpful. The music can also get loud and voices echo when it's busy. So don't bring your noise sensitive friends. Make sure you have a reservation as it can get crowded!

The provided lite bites were delicious and we each sampled a few different cocktails throughout the evening that were all fresh, fun and perfect for kicking off summer in the city. The atmosphere here is always upbeat and welcoming. Everyone on staff was delightful and Mike, per usual, was his amazing self making sure everyone was having a great time. Congratulations to The Patio team on 3 years! Cheers to another fun summer season in Providence. We'll definitely be back soon.

All to say, this place is very popular. I was a fan of the minimalist interior design with some wood accents, neutral colors, some overheard lights, natural lighting coming through, and the black ceiling. My friend ordered a mimosa and since I don't drink, he requested the waiter to have the bartender make me something non-alcoholic. He was really considerate and asked if I wanted something bitter, sweet, fruity etc. and if I am opposed to any fruit flavors since I picked fruit - I felt heard. He came back with something that tasted citrusy and maybe some pear in there. It wasn't anything too unique, but it was the thought that counts. The menu is unique in that there's one of everything you'd imagine would be on a brunch / breakfast menu. There aren't variations of anything. Since it was my first time there, I went with the classic ($18). It brought eggs, bacon, sausage, croissant, and home fries. Instead of home fries, I asked for truffle fries instead. After about 15-20 minutes, the food came out. My eggs were cooked perfectly. I think I had higher expectations from the croissant, so I was a little disappointed. I thought it would be cut in half and toasted to a crispy perfection but it was definitely store bought, toasted as a whole, and a little dry. The sausage and bacon were really good. The sausage was thick, juicy, a hint of spice, and great in flavor. The bacon was thick cut, savory, and crispy. I am glad I asked for truffle fries. They were crispy and hot. Our waiter was great throughout and the restaurant is clean and inviting. In the summer I do think they have tables outside. Parking can be tricky, especially on weekends but luckily there are many side streets.

I've seen on social media that people complained about the new location having mainly street parking - we both found parking easily on the street - quit yer b*tchin' people lol. Besides I believe they have a lot behind the restaurant that we didn't have to use but it's there if needed. We were the only ones there when we first walked in but more patrons came in as the night went on. Made our way to the bar and orders were flowing - one warning if you're sitting at the bar, it is an open kitchen so there will be alot of aromas flowing through and may get on your clothes but really it'll just remind you of how good the food was. Also, the barstools are not the most comfy - metal stools with no backing so after 2.5 hours, we were feeling a bit achy. We ordered way more than we should've but everything just looked so good! We got the croquettes (our absolute fave), the cauliflower, the pizza du jour (I think it had spinach, pepperoni, ricotta and garlic) and for entrees we got the fish tacos and the Orecchiette. Not one complaint - everything was divine. Croquettes were melty, smoky little nuggets of heaven and our favorites bites of the night. The pizza had a great balance of flavors and the crust was thin and crispy. We were so full but had a few bites of the fish tacos and pasta - the fish was cooked to perfection and the aioli it came with topped it perfectly. Pasta was different - had a scallion cream sauce that was a nice change up from your typical Alfredo. Don't sleep on this place - the street is busy being on a main road but so well worth the visit, I didn't catch our bartender's name but he and a few other servers were super personable and friendly - gave us just enough time in between meals and personal space to not hover. Absolutely will return!
