We dropped off kids at the YMCA nearby. My husband and I went in for coffee. It was our first time. They have nice parking lot. They also have a drive thru but we went inside. Very cute inside. Staff nice. I got the turtle iced coffee. My husband just got a black iced coffee. Both were great. They do have food but we had eaten before. They have some table seating and two comfy leather chairs. We sat on them and were lovely. They also have a shelf with kids things for young children which was a nice feature. I went to Alaina's for the first time and loved it! It was the perfect stop for coffee and a bite to eat before a hike in the area. I had the chipotle chicken on a gluten free wrap and an iced coffee. The wrap was delicious and I loved the coffee too! I love the chorizo sandwich here and the wrap. All the sandwiches are always fresh and always good. It's easier to order ahead because it does get busy and everything is made to order. The Latte's are fantastic, you won't be disappointed! read more

Was driving on the interstate as a monsoon came in. Pulled off and looked up a cafe to go to and stumbled upon Alaina's. I came in and was immediately greeted with a smiling crew! Tess walked me through the menu and showed me all their delicious options!! As I was looking through the menu, Tess gave me some great reccomendations along with some cool hacks/combinations. Literally some of the best customer service I have EVER recieved. I was sitting down not paying attention, and Tess BROUGHT OVER MY FOOD. She was so kind, along with the other staff. Heard they had great sandwiches and I was kind of hungry this particular morning so I gave it a shot. Pulled up the drive thru and placed an order for an everything bagel sausage egg and cheese. Sat at the window for some time and the bagel sandwich was finally done after 15 minutes. I found the bagel to be under toasted and was very doughy in texture. The sandwich was really nothing to get excited over. I would have to try something else next time but the bagel really needs to get toasted way more than what I got. read more

The food, coffee and teas are always amazing here. However, the customer service is seriously lacking... Is it that hard to say good morning to someone or respond back when they say Goodmorning? I feel like I am always inconveniencing the person taking my order when I say "Hi, good morning" and receive nothing as a response back and they just stare back at you. I really do enjoy this place and was traveling out of my way 30 minutes just to come here for food but lately the past few visits have not been very welcoming. read more

Such a cute spot, right off the highway for easy access. I got an iced coffee and a french toast muffin, I highly recommend! The muffin is so delicious, moist, and fluffy! And the coffee is great. Alaina's is one of my favorite stops for sandwiches. I love the drive thru option and you can order online if you any as well. The meats are always perfectly fresh and the tastes are consistently great. My favorite is their roast beef or their eggplant caprese or the chicken Milanese. It's tough to choose because everything is mouth watering!! Their staff is always friendly and helpful. If you are in town definitely swing by and try. The inside is adorable too. So great to find gluten-free roll & wrap among the many different options for breakfast sandwiches with several good choices for cheese & meat, including chorizo. Chose the gluten-free roll for hubby & sourdough bread for me. Both were delicious. Friendly service & good looking pastries & lunch options on display. Clean restroom & comfortable seating. Second time and still an amazing spot to stop by! The crisped eggplant caprese sandwich is definitely my go to now. The acai bowl was delicious. It's not majority of greek yogurt like other spots. Definitely is a filling and healthy breakfast option. The acai sorbet was more like I was eating an amazing dessert. I have been driving to work in this direction so I can skip past Dunkin and support a small business. One visit I went inside because my window was frozen shut. It's super cute on the inside. In a post COVID world, I've accepted that service will be slow, so I wasn't surprised waiting almost four minutes before being acknowledged at the drive thru, It gave me a chance to have a good look over the menu. When the worker finally asked for my order she almost seemed drunk or hung over (we've all been there, at least she showed up, right?)... As I mentioned during the ordering phase the person who took the order seemed a little off... The reason for my 3 stars is when I finally pulled up to the window. She was coughing into her hand, and then touching the lid of my coffee cup! I attempted to ask her if she could change the lid as she was having me process my card but she walked away/ mumbled and shut the window (WTF!!). I took the lid off, because I'll be dammed if I was putting my lips on a germy lid....Coffee luke warm and grounds floating all around. I'll probably go in an easier direction and try The Bean Barn, or if I do visit Alana's, I'll go in....if this woman is there, I'll just "nope" and turn around.. read more

Right off the highway, a good spot to meet for coffee. The baristas are super nice and made one good dirty chai! There is plenty of seating, good music playing in the background and everything is spaced out to sit comfortably. What a hidden gem! We came here for a late breakfast/brunch and it did not disappoint. It's a small restaurant with a few tables inside and a very small outdoor seating area. We went through the drive thru and ate in our car. For a drink, we got a medium Iced Cafe Mocha Latte with oat milk and it was so good. The medium was bigger than I expected and the coffee was delicious albeit very sweet but that's par for the course for a mocha. For food, we got the breakfast burrito without bacon and it was fresh and filling. We also got the vegetarian wrap which was stellar. Some vegetarian wraps leave me hungry but not this one. It was packed with fresh ingredients and had sooo much flavor. The wrap comes with your choice of coleslaw, chips, pasta salad, or bread n butter pickles. I got the pasta salad and it was a small serving but it hit the spot - pasta, mozzarella, tomatoes, basil, and dressing. We pulled up to the window and saw that they sell Day Olds for $1 so we got a pistachio muffin for only $1! I love that they do this - a great way to reduce food waste. We only interacted with one member of staff but they were friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back to try more of the menu! read more

I found this place throughout the RI food fights July iced coffee challenge. They had a nice selection of iced coffee flavors. They also have an assortment on sandwiches including willow tree, that they can make as a melt. Generous portion. My sister got the açaí bowl with a large selection of toppings. There were some nice pastries. The coffee roll was huge with delicious frosting. They have nice seating to chat. Kid friendly with some activities and drawings posted. Plenty of parking. read more

I've driven by this coffee shop so many times but always on my way to somewhere else. I finally got the opportunity to stop there yesterday and I was not disappointed. They had a very complete menu with salads and foods as well as coffees and teas. I had a decaf iced latte with oat milk and it was outstanding. I asked for light ice which they gave me without question. When I ordered at the drive through speaker I was asked my name and when I went up to the window they greeted me using my name. I find that very unusual and very welcoming. Their location off Route 3 in Coventry is a disadvantage for them and for customers who are looking for a good cup of coffee. Alaina's just opened up in West Greenwich, a great addition to the area! I stopped by this morning for a Latte and I am glad I did. They did an excellent job on setup, a very inviting, and comfortable place to enjoy a cup of coffee and breakfast. I tried a large latte with caramel and it was fantastic, not too sweet but lots of flavor. On my second visit I tried their famous "Hot Mamma"breakfast sandwich, the chorizo, egg, roasted pepper, avocado combo finished with the spicy sauce an was an awesome flavor combo- I had it on an Asiago bagel- delicious! This place is a literal godsend. I work a weird shift so good food / coffee is a pain in the butt to find in the late morning, and I was so sick of the terrible food and service by the Dunkin Donuts on Nooseneck. This place has some of the best food and coffee, and it's right down the street from me! The service is always phenomenal, both of the owners are some of the kindest people I've had the pleasure of doing business with, and the general ambiance of the place feels so welcoming and warm. First of all the girls are beautiful outside and then you realize they are beautiful inside as well. You can't pay to find staff like that! I wish I could get my staff at my clinic to be so hospitable! The menu is hard to decide which breakfast to go with but I chose the chorizo breakfast burrito which put to shame the one I had in Puerto Vallarta Mexico on a vacation many years ago.
