I specifically asked for photos and videos of a car I've been trying to find for about three years, but despite multiple requests, I didn't receive them. He told me that buying a plane ticket to come see the car would effectively reserve it. Based on that, I purchased a ticket. After that, I couldn't get a response from him. When I finally called the dealership directly, I was told the car had already been sold to someone else. That left me with a plane ticket and no car to look at. Car received, looks great, runs even better. From what I have discovered, this car was bought and owned by the same family. Car was in storage, climate-controlled, and on jacks for about 20 plus years. The "brand new" unused tires were manufactured in 1996, and forgotten documents on the rear seat carpet detail the status and service done in the 1990s. In need of a used truck, my wife and I made our first stop at Choice Auto in Payson, AZ. We had expected to go to multiple used car locations in the area. However, after 20 minutes working with Mike Kaiser, (Owner/Auto Guru) I turned and said to my wife "Can it really be this easy?". I've read many other reviews of Choice Auto. It is difficult to not sound like a broken record since the other reviews are extremely positive and right on target. My thoughts ... First and most importantly Mike Kaiser is extremely knowledgeable, professional and knows how to create an outstanding experience for the (prospect) customer. There is absolutely NO pressure placed on the customer to make a decision or have a sales person say they have to check with the manager to see what price, etc. they can give you. Mike made sure he knew what we were looking for and offered suggestions to expand the options. The initial truck my wife fell in love with (2016 Chevy Silverado 1500) was above what we had budgeted. At Mike's desk he got on the internet and looked up all of the comparable trucks in Arizona with less than 100,000 miles ("our" selected vehicle had less than 80,000 and was in almost showroom condition!). His price was at or below other older like-vehicles available. Seeing we were indecisive, Mike said to take the truck home for a night or two before we make a decision. Being from the NYC metro area, I thought this was amazing! After driving the truck around for a day, I unfortunately got "cold feet" (due to the budget concerns) and, much to my wife's disappointment, brought the truck back. I explained to Mike that we would likely have to go for an older truck. He got on the Internet and changed the model year in our search criteria from 2016 to 2013 or 2014 to see if we could get closer to our budget. Amazingly, most of the Chevy Silverado 1500 vehicles with less than 100,000 were asking more than the 2016 at Choice Auto. We are now happy and proud owners of the 2016 Chevy Silverado 1500. I am retired now.
