Speaking from experience, it probably WILL break down anyway so just have another place in mind and familiarize yourself with Small Claims if you do decide to go with them for any demented reason. Our truck broke down on the way to Miami and we ended up having to call a tow truck that took us into St. Lucie Automotive. They said they would call us and never did. We were constantly calling them to find out what was going on with our vehicle because days went by with no word from them. Every day they said it would be done, we would call to be sure and they'd push it back, this went on for 1.5 weeks. When it finally was ready, the shocking $1,800 bill came to us. Not only that, but our car was COVERED in oily stains from the men who worked on it... what the hell were they doing iNSIDE the car? I have no idea and the owner "Jeremy" stood by his men saying they would never do that. Then how do you explain the oil in our car? They also broke the nob on our AC and wouldn't admit to it. They said they just tested it out and that it must have been broken when they came in. BULL! We paid the outrageous prices for a broken water pump and headed back 2 hours away to our home in Orlando when our car overheated yet again and started shooting fluids everywhere. We took it into the nearest Toyota dealership who said it was the clutch that had issues that broke the water pump and caused the other issues that the oily St. Lucie guys missed in the first place. Then, St. Lucie Automotive installed our radiator hose in UPSIDE DOWN causing $1,800 MORE in damages to our truck! It took two days in the shop to fix but actually worked after coming out of the Toyota shop. I'm in the process of filing a Small Claims suit with St Lucie Automotive because Jeremy is such a jerk, he won't claim any responsibility and continues to argue and say it is impossible for him to do anything wrong, or his guys. He didn't care if they made our inside of our car oily, or broke an AC nob and of course it is just impossible for them to mistakes at their shop. Bull. I will never use that dealership EVER again and would not trust Jeremy as far as I could throw him. He was a total jerk over the phone before he even knew there was a problem, and their customer service is completely lacking. I walked into their office and asked if they had a restroom and the guy behind the desk barely looked up when he said, "How do I know, I don't work here." Stay away from this scam of a place. You're lucky if your car makes it off the lot.

My wife took her car there a while back for regular basic maintenance, check the tires and an oil change. The guy running this spot is named Jerry and he told her the price for the oil change and to rotate the tires. When she went to pick up the car later, Jerry told her that the alignment had to be done along with the shocks and the struts. Long story short the bill was almost $1500. She called me on the phone very upset. I went over there to speak to Jerry because neither of us had given him the approval to make any such repairs! We live in a fixed budget and our grand kids are coming to visit soon. When I tried to speak with Jerry he started arguing with me telling me that my wife had actually approved it. He said that maybe she doesn't remember now but that's a personal issue for her because maybe her memory isn't well? What the heck is he trying to say? It was a horrible experience and I'll never go back there again. I felt as if I'd been robbed and my wife is still upset about it. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY BUSINESS. They're a predatory business and Jerry is a nasty person.

I drove that vehicle for another four or five years before I sold it, and I never had a bit of trouble with any of the work they did. I'm calling them tomorrow to schedule getting brakes all the way around my current vehicle. I know I'll get a fair price, and good work.

Having had some negative experiences with the local tire shops who all want to sell you a new tire instead of a relatively cheap repair, I popped online for a search to see what the alternatives were and Perry Mobile Tire Service popped up. All the reviews looked promising so I gave them a call - James answered, we had a quick chat and he said he would be by in about 30 minutes. 30 minutes later that truck pulled up and we had a good conversation as he proceeded to repair my tire while the car was in my driveway- what more could you ask for? When I came to transmission Solutions the transmission builder offered to tear the transmission down right in front of me. Turns out the performance parts were used. And only one set of clutches and steals were burnt up. Instead of charging me for a full rebuild like I had agreed to they ordered the parts I needed and found the problem with my truck turns out the performance valve body I purchased all the bolts were loose.
