I have been hit by charges, $29.00 more for excessive leaf pick up? I contracted for weekly cuttings only, and they assumed I wanted bushes cut and sent a bill for $269.00! This place is a billing machine and makes its customers feel guilty. I'm done with them and I am not paying their recent bill for Aug (it's Oct) for $89.00 for garden pick up? WTH?!?!? Again, not in my contract. Note: Ray Pitti is a complete jerk - his snarky email responses are ridiculous. I don't know how he thinks he can stay in business with that attitude. Good luck! read more

When they start the mower it's like a jet airliner landed. Can't talk over it houses away. Ridiculous when others, more all the time, are using silent ones. Won't miss that nor will neighbors. They do love to add things without asking & charge extra hoping you won't care. Amateurs.... Found great replacement who, if anything, won't charge for small things I ask for and expecting to pay. Ray, Cindy and Jose from choice cut have done such an amazing job with our landscaping! They helped us design and execute our yards landscaping from start to finish and did a beautiful job! Their prices are on par with other companies but it's their customer service that keeps me as a customer. They are always super easy to contact, reasonable with my requests and I know that I can rely on them to keep my outdoor spaces looking beautiful year round. We used them for landscape design and planting, the installation of a sock drain to fix a pre-existing drainage issue, they regraded another area that had drainage problems and we continue to use their lawn maintenance services including spring and fall cleanups, mulching, fertilizing, weeding, and weekly mowing. We are continuously impressed with their work and on the rare occasion something has less than desired results, they promptly send their staff out to make adjustments. Called Choice Cut to do some rehabbing of my front landscaping at my home. They were out quickly to give us a design proposal. They designed a beautiful landscape that met my budget. While the guys were installing the new planting the owner Ray even came out to make sure my wife and I were happy and to answer any questions. Great guy and crew. I have been using Choice Cut for my basic landscaping needs for 3 years now-they always do a great job. This year I choose to make some major changes to the front of the yard. We added a new wall and plants, trees flowers etc. Paula came out and worked with me to draw out exactly what I wanted. The project started on Monday morning and was completed Tuesday morning. Everything is beautiful and was reasonably priced for everything that they did. I would highly recommend Choice Cut for not only your basic weekly lawn maintenance but also you extensive landscaping projects. Their team is amazing to work with, very thorough and the do what they say they are going to do-which to me is most important. Stay away from this landscaping company!!! They quote you weekly yard cutting fees and when you get your bill at the end of the month they tack on fees for waste disposal and fuel charges. Plus their fees are 3 times higher than their competitors. For spring cleaning they just show up and charge you $382 and then tell you that you must notify them if you dont want them to do the work. I suggest to call around more. I was quoted a price for weekly lawn service however I was not told up front about the added charges on TOP of the quoted price. They add a few bucks for gas and another few bucks for disposal. If I would've known that up front I wouldn't have used them...it didn't save me any money in the end. Plus when I called to confirm the service I was asked if I wanted fall clean up and I stated no, just grass cutting however they sent me a bill for over $300 for fall clean up which I couldn't even tell anything was done! When I told them I didn't order the service they threatened to send my bill to a collection service. Very shady way they are doing business..... read more
