So we placed an order online for pick up and when we went to pick it up they were very busy. We had to loop around several times and wait for an opening. We ordered a smoothie, a açaí bowl, and beet chia. I originally wanted the skinny but didn't want jalapeños. We called them and they informed us that it was pre made and we couldn't remove it. WARNING!! The açaí bowl is literally a smoothie in a bowl! No toppings are included so if you want toppings you gotta order it (it is extra). My beet chia was really good but for $12... it was a little on the high even for 16 oz. BUT it came in a glass jar so I got a jar out of it!

This place was SO yummy. I got the warrior smoothie (green) and my friend got the avatar (blue) and they were so good! The worker Wyatt was awesome. So funny and nice and patient when we were deciding what to get and so helpful.

I was disappointed with the mint chip smoothie. It tasted excessively watery, lacking flavor beyond the overpowering mint. Plus, the size was far too small for the price. Not worth the cost for such a lackluster experience.

Great this Choice Juicery location opened up next to Moonlight Beach. While the ice cream shop next door is a popular choice after a hot day, I like to go to Choice to get something refreshing without the long wait. My favorite is the PB&J with added spinach. I watched them add all the spinach leaves into the blender, and yet the spinach cannot be tasted in this yummy smoothie --- relieved. I recently found out they have a "secret menu". I like the Avatar smoothie without the pineapple (from Hawaii, but don't like pineapple haha). The "Blue Majik" Choice used to make this smoothie provides a nice swirl perfect for summer day photos. Even though it's next door to the best coffee place in town -- Lofty coffee, I opt for the avocado toast at Choice because I really enjoy the superfood toast it is made with. Heartier dish. I just wish their protein chocolate brownies would be bigger in size. . . They are really good too!

Although I'm sad to see the previous tenant go, I'm happy to see Choice take their place. It's great to have an all organic, non-gmo, gluten free, dairy free, vegan place that truly cares about the quality of the ingredients they use. I came twice in one week and got the regular avocado toast, suntuna toast, spicy amor and mint chip smoothies. The quality is consistent with their other locations and I'm happy they added avocado toast to the mix. The only thing that would make it better were some more hot food options. But I'm not complaining!

I love that Choice Juicery is a walking distance from my work and from the beach! Perfect time to get some protein and have a delicious mint chip smoothie. The workers are so friendly and super helpful if you have any questions or ask them for suggestions!

I've tried a good portion of the menu, and some of my favorites are the Bam Bam Burger, Jughead Burger, carne asada bowl, and the monster chili dog. The fries are always so good, and the cold mac salad is a must The portions are generous and I almost always have leftovers, which I love. Even my non-vegan husband enjoys coming here, and we've recommended it to friends who have also really liked it Service has always been great, food usually comes out quickly, and the staff is consistently friendly and helpful The space itself has such an eclectic, laid-back vibe with tons of art and character, it's just a fun place to be Sometimes the sauce levels can be a little on the heavier side depending on the day, but the flavors are always really good The hibiscus lemonade is really refreshing, I'd just personally enjoy it even more with ice It's clear everything here comes from a lot of creativity and passion, and I really appreciate the care that goes into a menu that's entirely his own!

The owner took our order and was incredibly friendly, helpful, and informative. He described all of the dishes and you can tell he genuinely loves his resturant and what he's doing there. At one point he mentioned that he's proud of the portions because he thinks a lot of vegan resturants tend to skimp a little. He was absolutely right to be proud. I had the French Dip and it was honestly one of the best sandwiches I've had. The stek was sliced thin and really tasty, the cheze in the sandwich was perfectly gooey (which is rare for plant based cheze), and the aujus was the real star. I've honestly had nothing like it before. It was also a really hearty portion and super filling. My wife had the Jambi sandwich -- a hash brown wafflle with fried chikun, sunflower swiss, seitan bakon between two pieces of french toast -- plus chili fries on the side. The sandwich itself was impressively big and definitely lived up to the owner's point about portions. We've both been vegan for about 10 years and always appreciate finding places doing creative food like this. We live about an hour and a half away, but we're already figuring out when we can make the trek back for another visit.

To start, the employees here are so sweet! There are so many seating options inside, outside, and even an additional seating area in a more quiet and secluded room. I was a little nervous that the wheat alternatives would be bland or dry and hard, but everything was delicious! I ordered the Veggie Lovers pizza with vegan mozzarella and ricotta on a paleo crust. The tortillas that they use for the tacos are good as well. Whether you are gluten-free, vegan, trying to eat healthier, or simply accompanying a friend, Nectarine Grove has something for everyone!

I appreciate many aspects of the restaurant, including its use of fresh produce and plant-based ingredients, as well as its overall focus on nutritional value. Quality ingredients and healthy eating are central to their mission. That said, I found the food itself somewhat lacking in the savory richness and depth of flavor that I personally look for in tacos. The sides were a good example of this. The beans tasted flat and somewhat undercooked to me, while the rice, although fully cooked, was quite dry. I ended up adding salsa to make it more enjoyable and easier to eat. The salsas also seemed to reflect the restaurant's "health halo" approach - fresh and wholesome, but missing some of the bold, comforting depth I typically expect. One exception was the hottest salsa on offer. Despite not being particularly spicy, it had a pleasant smoky flavor that helped it stand out from the rest. Baja Fish Taco Plate - 3/5. Overall, this was a solid dish. The mahi-mahi appeared to be high quality, and the two beer-battered fish tacos had a nicely crisp exterior. However, the fish itself was somewhat dry. As with the rest of the meal, the vegetables were fresh and vibrant, but the overall flavor profile felt restrained and a bit bland. It could have benefited from more richness and depth. Shrimp Diablo Taco Plate - 3/5. My impressions of the Shrimp Diablo Taco Plate were similar to those of the fish tacos. The shrimp were succulent and properly cooked, but the dish felt lean and lacked the richness that would have made it more satisfying. A touch more butter, sauce, or another source of fat could have added body and enhanced the overall flavor. While the ingredients were fresh and well-prepared, the dish ultimately fell short of delivering the comforting, savory experience I was hoping for. Healthy and organic food are not mutually exclusive; they can have bold, satisfying flavors too. The best versions of both can coexist on the same plate. Haggo's Organic Taco offers fresh, thoughtfully sourced food in a welcoming atmosphere, and diners who prioritize clean eating will likely find much to appreciate. My only wish is that the restaurant would pair its commitment to quality ingredients with a little more depth, richness, and comfort-food appeal.

As noted by its name, this place served a fusion of Chinese and Korean cuisines. Their Encinitas location took over what used to be a roadside diner along N Coast Hwy 101. The seating capacity was less than 40 people which included a few high-top counter spots. At my last visit, I came for a late dinner before their closing time. A large menu was posted on the wall behind the service counter that listed about two dozen food offerings. The items seemed to be comfort food like pot stickers, spring rolls, fried rice, and chicken wings but flavored with unique combinations of seasonings and spices. I started my meal with the Marinated Beef Tri-Tip Skewers which came as a set of three and a Chinese mustard for dipping. The meat was very tender and well-seasoned. I also ordered the Cumin Lamb Stir Fry which the cashier said was medium spicy. After tasting a couple of bites of the noodles from the serving bowl, I agreed that the heat level was moderate, even for my palate. I thought the portion size should have been more for the price. That was my main criticism for both items, otherwise the food was solid for an Asian fusion eatery.
