The place is popular among Celiac/Gluten free and non-celiac/gluten free people alike. The food is fresh, flavorful and very delicious. Some of the menu items we have tried over the years are: - 'The Boss Burger' (10/10) and 'The CEO Burger' (10/10) - (probably the only Rest. in SD where my son can get a completely Gluten Free and delicious Burgers along with gluten free Fries). - Avocado / Turkey Sandwich (10/10) - Carne Asada fries (9/10) The baked goods here are also very good: - Banana Chocolate Chip Muffin (10/10) - Hostess Style cupcakes (10/10) - Chocolate Lava Brownie (9/10) Customer Service: Excellent. My friend is pretty much a regular here since she can't have any gluten, so we often come here often when we go out to eat. While I have thoroughly enjoyed the pizza both times I've been here, this time I wanted to try something new. Nothing was really calling out to me except for The vegan Breakfast Tacos. They were phenomenal with such a generous portion on guacamole and some yummy sauces on the side! This place is perfect for both. The food here is delicious. Authentic breakfast burritos and the pastries are gluten free (which I am not, but the cinnamon roll was one of the best I've ever had). However, only 4 out of 5 stars because the coffee was not good. When I asked around everyone said that the food is outstanding but they haven't quite nailed coffee yet. This place is super cute and I love the vegan/gluten free options. We tried two different muffins and both were pretty good for being gluten free. We also got a matcha and my daughter wasn't a huge fan. My iced coffee was alright. The big winner was the paradise smoothie. I could drink that every day it was so delicious. read more

What an epic place. Folks with celiac and gluten allergies rejoice, because this restaurant does it all. Top tier coastal vibes, fresh organic GF food, delicious coffee, and an expansive menu that features many of my husband's much-loved favorites. I can't sing it's praises enough. On top of all this, they cater! It's busy especially on weekends, as it should be, but the staff are very helpful and keep things moving smoothly. This place is an absolute hidden gem! I wasn't sure what to expect because it looked like just a standard coffee shop online, but holy cow--the coffee is delicious and the food is amazing. Today is my birthday, and discovering that their entire menu is gluten-free was the best surprise. Update: thanks for the response Rhiana! Unfortunately your response was almost as disappointing as the burrito. I will instead take my business back to Haggos where I'll pay $20 (a whopping $1 more) for a grass fed/grass finished burrito that leaves me feeling like my money was well spent. And the management is polite too! Service was pleasant, and the food came out promptly. The parking lot ambiance can be charming at times, but pair it with a $19 burrito, $17.50 for half a pizza and the view of propane tanks, defunct space heaters, a gas meter and a rat trap start to lose their appeal. read more

I would not recommend this place for breakfast. My friend and I came and waited 20 minutes for our food. It was reasonable because the line was long and they looked super busy and understaffed. My friend got the protein plate with the turkey sausage. Her turkey sausage was dry and overcooked and the spinach was steamed and unseasoned. I got the Benedict and it was very salty but not seasoned beyond that. I think for the expensive price tag you can find better healthy options. read more

This is a lovely spot to check out any time of day. They have a large menu with drinks that are gf and lots of vegan options as well. I ordered the farmers market scramble which has vegan cashew cheese and it was perfect! The berry lemonade was also super flavorful to sip on. California burrito is good without the mango salsa and some lime crema instead. With a side of sriracha aioli. The steak was flavorful. Have also tried their carne asada fries, but they weren't crispy at all and were under seasoned. They put all the cheese in one corner and it was melted so I couldn't really distribute that to the rest of the fries; so about 85% of the fries had no cheese and then just 15% had all the cheese. The salsa that came with was okay. Overall, the preparation and portion were both disappointing for the $18 price. Maybe I got unlucky, choose at your own discretion. My girlfriend loves the lemon bars here so those will always keep us coming back! Staff has always been friendly and street parking is usually available nearby. read more

I ended up getting the roasted veggie bowl and a coconut cream matcha! It was so delicious! The serving was huge that I even had some leftover to take home and enjoyed the rest later. Love this spot! Everything on the menu is organic and clearly made with care, which makes such a difference. The breakfast Sammie was absolutely delicious--fresh, flavorful, and super satisfying. I visited with my GF in April 2025 and was blown away. There is a reason there is always a line it seems (we visited twice on two separate days during the weekend - it was that good) - the food and drinks are delicious. This place is good enough that we would make an effort to stop by if traveling through or close enough to it. The menu offers so many gluten free options and my goodness is their food good. For our first visit, we ordered half gluten free pizzas and mozzarella sticks. The half is the perfect size for most people to eat. I was impressed with the crust - it's hard to describe. The texture reminded me of cornbread but most likely was made from cauliflower. Whatever it is, it is DELICIOUS. The mozzarella stick breading was also tasty and seasoned well. Inside, you'll find a a couple tables to sit at but the best place to sit is outside. The patio area is a wonderful place to eat your meal. This is a must visit. read more

Overall service was great complete with tasty recommendations. I'd stay clear of the grab and go beverage section as water was $9! Food delivery was a little confusing after ordering. You're given a number to find a table to dine. However, we waited 20 minutes for the coffee and received our food already. Turns out coffee pickup is inside which wasn't clear when ordering. My friend popped in for our coffee and were surprised to learn they still hadn't finished the coffees after 20minutes. I got the farmer's market scramble and it was SOOOO GOOD! I loved the presentation and all the flavors paired together. I was initially intimidated by chipotle cashew sauce and the look of the whole grain bread. However, they were incredibly tasty! Some improvements: clear communication on location of coffee pickup, time to brew, free water option, and expand bathrooms (1 stall with consistently 5 people in line). read more

I was searching for a good spot to get a coffee/matcha and found this place on yelp. Parking is available across the street next to the train tracks. Upon arriving the place is very nice and I was excited to try one of their iced matchas (from the pictures they looked delicious). I was pretty disappointed when they gave me an iced drink in a plain white cup they use for hot drinks with a top that kept coming off. For $10 I would expect something better. OK, this was our first visit to nectarine Grove and for the most part enjoyed it. The outside patio today was perfect. The set up of ordering inside and being brought your food is not my favorite, but it works for this establishment. Will start with the positives, my burger was well cooked and I really liked the sort of thousand island dressing on the side. I thought the bread on both of our sandwiches was a bit dry, maybe that's the gluten-free aspect? My wife's chicken sandwich was actually really good, again we took off most of the bread and ate the vegetables and chicken. The fries are excellent. We saw a lot of really nice looking salads and other bowl units go by and they look great. Very healthy crowd plus very beachy, we like that. I guess my only knock for a four stars is the lack of service. Please don't ask me after paying $38 for two sandwiches that you typed into a computer for a six dollar tip. We got our own water and then had to ask inside for a glass of ice due to the lukewarm water. Clearing my own table has become the norm, not sure I love it but if it helps, I'm willing to do it Because of the interesting food I'm willing to give it another shot so stay tuned. read more

I may have just ordered the wrong item, but it still was disappointing. My absolute favorite brunch and lunch spot in north county SD. Parking can be a hassle on a busy summer day but this fast casual spot is a great place to meet up with friends or bring kids along.
