Been coming here with my daughters for years but sorry to say, no more. Called for a appoint ment for two mani's and was told I could come now, we arrived and there was a nail tech for my daughter but not me, it sounded I like it would be five minutes but they wouldn't have been able to get to me until she was almost done so I just skipped it. Also, having the tv on in the background is so distracting and not at all relaxing. I know these are good honest people trying to make a living but I'm not going back. read more

It's probably the dirtiest nail salon I've ever been to. It's such a good location that it's a shame they can't even keep it clean. They also had Motocross blaring on the TVs, and when I asked if they could change it, they were very annoyed and ignored me for 5 minutes until someone else made a comment, and the man (probably the owner) just picked up the controller and muted it. They used to be wonderful but the last few times I've gone I haven't been impressed. They cut my toenails so short but the worst part was the fill/gel manicure I got. The guy barely puts on any of the gel and then drills it all off. I understand it's supposed to look more natural but they are too thin and break so easily which is why I normally get acrylics so they don't break! Also I got gel polish on my nails so it would last longer but he kept filing the nails after the polish was done and now two weeks later the polish is chipping. Very frustrating. read more

I used to love this place, but this time when it was time To polish I was taken from the girl who was doing a great job to the gentleman that works there who rushed through, messed up my gel polish then was like oh did you want me to fix that? I could do another coat. Like no you no they look like shit and you rushed through , another coat won't fix them. They take anyone it doesn't matter how busy they are. The man who did dip on my nails made my nails completely ruined where they were constantly breaking. He was so rough on my nails he made my bleed twice. It was a rough experience. They forgot to paint on of my toes and it chipped so easily. I believe most of their polishes are expired. Looked up this place because I was in town for my cousin's wedding. I have long natural nails but I had been using my hands a lot and had cracks in two of my nails, a nice gentleman (Tony) greeted me at the door and helped my right away (I was there pretty much right when they opened). Amber was great! Amazing job on my acrylic fill with gel polish! It's a small shop but the customer service is great and I didn't feel rushed at all even though I came in near closing time. I've been here a few times and reasonable but to me, it's a lot because I don't do stuff like tI've got to say that their services are worth every penny. I was just here on July 18th getting a pedicure for $25. That may sound like a lot but hear that often. First, they have a full on wall of nail colork assortment for you to select from. without that, you can still bring your own colors. Second, They have you sit on a massaging chair while your feet get their own mini hot tub for washing and cleansing prior to the pedicure. They even massage oil into your feet into blissful vacation. I came in at about 6:15pm and it was pretty busy, but they said it would only be a few mins. 30 mins later I was finally in the chair. I just wanted a simple full set of acrylic nails and the tech told me it would be $25 which I said was fine. The tech was friendly, but cut me a few times with the drill and left to answer the phone and talk to other employees while doing my nails. I don't really like the shape of my nails, I told him I wanted square and they are pretty round. After I was all done, he told me it was $30 so I'm not sure where the other $5 came from but whatever. I'm so sad! I loved this place the first time I came. I went back last week for a shellac manicure with sparkles, it took about an hour to do which is fine buuuuuut the next morning most of the sparkles came off already. Shellac is supposed to last TWO weeks. They also charged me $45.... Not sure why. Maybe the sparkles were extra? So I went back the next day and they added more sparkles. I went to this place because the reviews were so great, but I'm not happy with what I got. I paid $65 for a pedicure and fiberglass nails with gel. I got my nails done for my engagement photos and I haven't even had my nails a week and they are discolored and growing out. Also my pedicure was horrible. They didn't get any of my dead skin off and didn't trim my toe nails. I went back to ask what they can do and the man didn't understand what I was saying and told me it is my fault. I've never had my nails grow out in a week and my friends are grown out and falling off that went with me as well. He was very rude and told me to come back in a week and pay $20 for a fill. What was the point of me paying for gel and fiberglass, which are supposed to last longer, if they look horrible after a week?! read more

Clean nail salon. Great work and they offer many hip colors and styles. However, they engage in that classic "oh five minute wait" business. My friend and I waited 30 minutes. THIRTY MINUTES is not five minutes. Honesty should be the best policy. But putting aside the business techniques, the art was great. I'm very impressed with their attention to detail and creativity. I went this past rainy Saturday around 1:30 pm. This place was CROWDED. What surprised me most was that, despite being so busy, they kept taking more incoming clients and lined us all up on the pedicure seats and told us to "relax" and that it'd only be a few minutes until they got to us. Wrong. I waited for a good 30 minutes before anyone finally came to begin my pedicure, then she kept getting up to help sort out other matters (people paying, getting more women lined up on the pedicure machines, etc). My pedicure took less time than me sitting and waiting with my feet soaking in the water. By the time my pedicure started, the water wasn't even warm anymore :( I was disappointed with this experience, considering it cost more than I'd been paying for at a place in Citrus Heights. So I live up above in the foothills, and have been looking for a place that does fun nail art. Decided to come down the hill and give this place a try based of Yelp reviews and the pics posted here and on their website. All I can say FALSE ADVERTISING. I brought in a pic of what I wanted, along with a picture tutorial that was very simple and straight forward. They told me they couldn't do it. Upon saying I would then just get the pedicure, they pressured me to choose from their examples of available nail art. I ended up choosing one with simple dark fir trees that had snow tips and a subtle snow like glitter. Well, I'll include a pic of what I ended up with - you can kinda tell what is is supposed to be. Between that and the typical add on pressure in these places, (no, I already told you twice I do not want gel, especially knowing you would charge me $10 to take it off), I didn't ask for the nail to be redone, I just wanted out. It appears that the place has change management, and nail art is no longer a specialty. I normally come here because of their attention to detail. This rating is only for the nail painting on my manicure. The gentleman who did my pedicure was awesome, and paint job flawless. But the paint job done on my nails, by a different lady, was totally awful. She cleaned up my cuticles alright but the paint is everywhere and you can clearly see the sides of my nails that were missed. I honestly could have painted them better by myself. The staff was super rushed and the woman giving my pedicure left me several times during the pedicure to collect cash and help other people. When she came back to me she was very quick and seemed annoyed. It was the worst pedicure, and as a new mother getting away for relaxation isn't easy. She also tried to get me to purchase a more expensive pedicure when I had to repeat several times the package I wanted she threw the paper down annoyed with me. Went in for a gel manicure with a friend. Kind staff, lots of gel color options, fit us right in and did a pretty good job. The polish on a couple of my nails isn't all the way to the cuticle but I can deal with that. The biggest bummer for me though is that the nail stations are really spread apart.
