As stated before, I finally came back to try the savory foods from Tea Cup Cafe!…read more Starting off, my fiancé ordered the Crispy Fish. The sauce that was served was absolutely delicious with the signature tanginess and sweetness of Thai food. The hot pot that I ordered was also enjoyed to the fullest! The food here was super good but also I love liver so I was glad they had a hot pot option that included that! After a delicious meal, we finished off with the mango bingsu which also was a huge hit! The bingsu was super fluffy and light! This meal was definitely worth it and didn't leave me feeling super heavy. The service was also great even though they were always full house with some parties waiting and only one person serving. I will be back next time to try their Thai barbecue which I saw people having and I could stop looking at! On top of all this, the server or manager even gave me a free Melona ice cream which I paired with the bingsoo after he saw that I was pregnant which I thought was super sweet. I don't live too far from here so I also want to add that even though I have not added a review, I always go to this restaurant to grab a coconut Thai milk tea to go (I am not even a huge Thai tea fan)! For some reason, I love the coconut thai tea from here and always find myself craving it.

We got the Tom Zap beef and Chicken broths since it's against my religion to have blood. The Tom Zap taste like Tom yum soup. The meats and seafood were very fresh. The sauces delightful. We enjoyed the mild and spicy sauce. It didn't bother my stomach so I'm happy they used real peppers and not chemical spices. One thing I didn't expect to like so much was garlic fried rice. It was delicious! We also enjoyed grilling the marinated beef and pork belly. The mango salad and spring rolls were delicious. The waitress teased us for stopping after 1 round. The drinks were good too we got a coconut smoothie with milk and Thai iced tea, definitely need that to cool you down from the spicy food. Next time will be back again and hopefully hungrier so I can enjoy more food!

'GO SOMEWHERE ELSE' We were extremely disappointed with our…read morerecent visit to this restaurant. Having traveled from Pennsylvania based on positive experiences Ive been here few times before, I expected a much better experience. The service felt off from the start due to I was speaking Thai and waiter/waitress likely judged that I do not speak English. My husband heard the whole conversation and it bothered him at the moment led him to feel unwelcome, but I told my husband that I don't care what they think so we can enjoy our meal. The overall atmosphere was rather strange for an all-you-can-eat buffet. The total bill for two adults came to ~$74 We ordered two sets of pendant bread () for takeout, and we left a $10 cash tip on the table. Almost immediately after placing the cash down, the waitress approached and asked if it was a TIP making a VISIBLY DISPLEASED expression before walking away. As we were leaving, I was confronted by the owner or head manager (me and him spoke Thai) inquired what was wrong with the service. He stated that the waitress had complained about the TIP amount less than 10%. We explained that we had not included the approximately $30 takeout order in our tip calculation, especially considering it was a buffet restaurant. A quick calculation would have shown that the $10 TIP represented roughly 15% on the dining portion alone, and the waitress's primary contribution during our visit was simply providing water and choice of 'appetizers'. I gave them 5 stars on google and yelp 6 years ago (going to delete it) I have always recommended this place to my boss and colleagues from NY, NJ to PA But I will have to retract my recommendation to them after this. I REPEAT 'DO NOT COME HERE' We will NOT be returning. While the food itself was decent but the UNGRATEFUL ATTITUDE and handling of the situation completely ruined what had otherwise been a pleasant meal. I REPEAT DO NOT COME HERE! They will not appreciate shit from you if it TOO LITTLE (for them). This incident was HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL. I wish I can get my $10 back. Just because you want more, then you DESERVE NOTHING

My husband and I thought it was very well marinated. This was delivery order that took at least 25 minutes to arrive but even then, food was still hot and delicious. The Ziggle Box with Stir Fried Spicy Squid: -Spicy Squid: had a good kick and went well mixed in with the rice. They gave a good portion size, as I ended up taking about half as leftovers, which reheated well. -Salad: typical garden salad, fresh vegetables -Mashed Potatoes: smooth consistency -Japchae: had good flavor, and a good balance of noodles and vegetables -Egg Omelet: was light and well seasoned. -The Vegetable and Shrimp Tempura: seemed good. A friend ate this as I'm not a fan of tempura -Dumpling: was crisp, decent filling -Egg Soup: was light and soothing We shared the Sweet & Spicy Chicken since it was a new special item for them. However, it wasn't good as it was mostly small overfried pieces of chicken. A nice spot to hit, especially at late hours. Just stick to their regular menu.

I wanted to showcase the bathroom since not all restaurants invest in the money to make it nicer. Adding flowers is always a nice touch.

First time trying this restaurant and it is soo good! It really is a hidden filipino food gem!…read more Loved the different food concept like their Sisig Taco. We also ordered the traditional foods too like Bistek Pinoy, Kaldereta Pork, Chicharon, Lumpiang Shanghai, Pancit and then Sago't Gulaman and Avocado shakes to drink. The service here is good, but there were a few times where we had to get up to find our server for questions lol. The interior is very cute, their restaurant has two rooms for dine in and we loved the decor showcasing the Philippines! They also had a customer photo wall which was very nice. Would come back, 10/10.

Cuisine: 6 Service: 5…read moreDecor: 5 Value: 8 Overall: 6 It's a fine restaurant depending on what you order. We like their BBQ Pork skewers a lot, but was somewhat disappointed that they did not have a combo skewer plate with chicken too. We wanted to try both, but we already ordered so much food. It was the same price for two skewers of either pork or chicken, so we asked the owner if it was possible to do one each in order for us to try more of the menu. She was very rigid on not fulfilling our request, and somewhat unfriendly considering how easy it was for her to make the substitution. I guess they are not in the business of making their customers happy. Anyway, other than a decent Pork Sisig, the other three dishes were all somewhat disappointing. The Sotanghon Guisado tasted like a Chinese takeout lo mein, while the Palabok was bland. However, the worst dish was definitely the Adobo Chicken, which lacked flavor and was overcooked. Honestly, their BBQ Pork skewers were tasty enough for me to want to go back, but I'm not sure if I will anytime soon because of the owner's poor attitude towards a simple request.
