Small and cozy second floor. Soup is so sweet! Service was fine, only waitress Lassus a biz rude when we were asking for desert menu.

The sliced beef is always really fatty here and the overall quality has went down. Since the price has increased, the variety on the menu hasn't increased. I feel like I no longer can justify the price.

I had hotpot here and really enjoyed it! While waiting for the broth and meat, we could help ourselves to pick out vegetables and their delicious fried rice at the self-serve stations. Unlike traditional Chinese hotpot, we do not make our own sauce. Instead, they have 3 premade ones for us with varying spice levels. They also served complimentary appetizers such as curry balls and mango salad. Everything was amazing and I look forward to eating here again sometime.

RIDICULOUS I came all the way from Pennsylvania. I heard about this place and that it was good. The service is awkward The atmosphere is weird it's a buffet all you can eat me and my wife were $78 in total we decided to order some dessert, pendant bread for takeout we left $10 on the table and the waitress was like a hawk. She was already there as soon as the cash she was on the table she said is this a tip and made a face walking away then moments later we're getting confronted by the owner or head Manager on the way out stopping us and asking what was wrong with the service and that she complained to him why is the tip so little my wife and I had to explain to him that we're not counting takeout which is like $30 and again it's a buffet. I'm not considering the takeout at all the fact that she felt that comfortable to complain and get him to confront us if she would've took a moment to do the math she got 15% doing nothing. All she did was hand me water and she's complaining. Why did I get less than 10%? THIS PLACE IS A JOKE!! when it comes to the service my wife has been here multiple times, recommending others to come, but we're not coming here again. The food was decent, but she was just so ungrateful to be honest I want my $10 back it ruined the entire experience we're about to leave in good mood give five stars and then this shit happens RIDICULOUS

A great Thai hotpot location in Elmhurst. It's a twist on the many Chinese flavored hotpot restaurants in NYC. The sauces are premade for you with a fiery red chili pepper paste and a fish sauce based dipping sauce. Great selection of veggies and meats. It's small, seating maybe 30 tops so come early.

Tldr - pricey novelty hotpot and not a must try given food variety and excessive surcharges Facts - CASH ONLY. It is 35 pp pre tax/tip. 90 mins eating time. Additional $10 per person per 15 mins. That is an potential $40 extra pp for an additional hour stayed. There is additional surcharge for food being wasted. Addtl prices - Can soda is $3, beer bottle is $7, smoothies are $8, and various drinks like thai tea are $4. Starting service charge (tip) starts at 20%. Receipts shows tip prices up to 30%. THEY CALC TAX POST TAX. IE: bill was $142 pre tax . Should be $28.59. The receipt said $31.13. This is schemey behavior. I dont see many restaurants do this. Visit opinion - service was fine. Food came prompt. They refilled broth stock when they saw it was getting low. Stand out prepared foods is def the garlic rice that everyone boasts about. The variety isnt as extensive as it can be for a $35 price tag especially when u think about other general hotpot spots like spring, hai di lao, sheep, etc. Granted, they are not thai hotpots but the concepts are the same. The smell in the restuarant is very food strong. Reviews on thr spacing is accurate. It can fit like 8 4 ppl tables. I would not recommend this for a must try given the price point, food variety, addtl surcharges for bigger parties, drinks, and how they calculate tip using post tax amount.

This was my first experience with Thai hot pot, and it did not disappoint. The broth was rich and flavorful, with the perfect balance of tangy and spicy notes. The garlic fried rice was an excellent addition, and the freshness of the meats and vegetables really stood out. And of course, you can't forget the classic Thai iced tea--it was the perfect complement to the meal.

~ CASH ONLY ~ In loveee with this thai hot pot! Pretty affordable ayce hot pot with a variety of options to choose from. I've gotten the tom zap, jaew hon and clear soup and don't be discouraged by the clear color of the soup, it's still packed with flavors! The quality of the meat isn't the best but I don't really mind given the quality of the soup, the sauces, price of ayce and GARLIC FRIED RICE were unbeatable.

CASH ONLY. I LOVE hotpot so I was intrigued when my friend told me about an AYCE Thai hotpot place. The place is a bit small but we came at 5:30 PM on a Saturday and there was no wait. The décor is really adorable and I probably said "this is soooo cute" 10 times. The broth flavors were all new to me since I've only had Chinese and Japanese hotpot before. We got the clear (chicken) broth and the beef blood broth - both extremely flavorful (the beef blood one was a bit spicy). Service was fast and they are really generous with the amount of food. My friend recommended the garlic fried rice, which I originally judged him for (because why would you order rice at an AYCE hotpot place right?!) but yes, GET THE FRIED RICE! I don't know what they put in there but it is heavenly and addicting and...we ended up getting a second bowl. I will definitely be coming back.

First of all, I went to this Thai hot pot more than one time but never put a review. Another time the service was good BUT this time the women server was NASTY to our group. She was TERRIBlE!!! Another waiter was good but only her, She acted like she was mad and maybe she was upset with her sad life. So she didn't want to serve the customer good. I feel sorry for the business, to hire this suffer and sad person to serve customers. If you don't want to work at that day, you should take a day off and fix it out what you want to do, instead of destroying your workplace. I still gave 20% tip for the guy but still not happy with the woman. As long as you speak the same language, don't you want to get a good pay? the advantage of working at the Thai place didn't give you enough happiness? LOL! Poor you!

This place was a little confusing as to what door led where, but just note that you have to go upstairs for this restaurant and you should be golden! We came here on a Wednesday evening and the place was relatively empty with only 1 or 2 tables getting taken during our meal. This led to a relatively peaceful and quiet meal which I enjoyed so I'd say weekdays are a safe time to go without much of a wait. As an all you can eat place, their menu was pretty diverse and they had pretty much anything you can think of for hotpot - no complaints there! Their non-alcoholic drinks were also pretty large and tasty so I'd recommend one if you're looking for something a little sweet. The broths they have are delicious as well and really make the meal Thai which I enjoyed. I would say that the meat seemed a little frozen when it came out, but that was the only thing we noticed that wasn't great. Everything else quality wise and service wise was really great! This place is cash only just as a heads up too - payment was quick though and the price I think was worth the meal. Overall, great place to grab hotpot and enjoy yourselves with friends. I would definitely come back to try their other teas/juices as well as another soup base!

Would you like to be transported back in time to ancient china?…read more How about just testing your spice tolerance to see if you can hang with the best? Well, if you want all of that, PLUS hot pot, look no further - this is the place to be! There is a reason this is one of the highest recommend spots to visit when you're in Flushing. First off, entrance? SO UNASSUMING. It's like, the tiniest door, with no real obvious signage. Once you go through, you basically feel like you're in one of the ancient alleys of China - decor is 1000% great. We had a larger party of 7, and they were luckily able to accommodate us since we lined up a few minutes before opening on a Friday. We actually got IMO the best seats in the house - towards the back, elevated up on some steps, a mini pavilion essentially. But enough about the decor.. how was the food? Well.. GREAT! And honestly, for NYC prices, not too expensive (but a bit pricy for flushing I guess). The quality was top notch (highly recommend trying the mala quail eggs) and the spice of the broth was GREAT! We went with medium since our server (amazing btw, thank you Sean / Shawn / Shaun??) said that he can't even go near hot, it burns his eyes. Medium was just perfect - felt great eating it with some sweats, regretted it the day after, which means I couldn't have asked for a better experience! Meats were good quality, veggies were yummy. I wish the shrimp paste had more in terms of quantity, we barely had seven bites for each of us, but it was really good. Also, pro tip, probably don't order Napa Cabbage, a lot of their other dishes will sit on top of a whole leaf, so you'll probably get enough from that unless you want to consume half a head. Sauce bar is $2 a person - which might be shocking for some to know they charge it, but it's pretty much the norm at a higher end hot pot place in big cities. At least they don't charge $6-$8 like some places and only throw in a few apps/desserts to try to justify it. Overall, really loved this place, and would definitely go back.

A deal this good can only really be found the further out you go from the city center, and I was more than happy to take the hour long subway ride to Flushing for this veritable feast. It was fully packed the Wednesday night I visited, so I can only imagine what the waits must be like on weekends. One great thing about hot pot is that you can start eating pretty much as soon as you choose your soup base, and they were quick to get us ours. I noticed some reviewers complaining that the soup bases were flavorless but I found the miso broth plenty flavorful. The meats and vegetables you cook into the base also infuse some flavor into the soup, not to mention the sauces you get at the sauce bar. Speaking of, I often judge a hot pot spot by their sauce bar, and this was was pretty good. It's no Haidilao, where they offer actual appetizers at the sauce bar, and I found there to be a dearth of truly spicy options, despite there being several variations of chili sauce, but all in all not bad. None of the sauces had a real kick to them, save for the chopped up green chillies. Included in the AYCE are salads, several different types of noodles, several types of fish cake, mushrooms, lotus root, bamboo, squash, and other carbs like rice cakes. I got the $7 white fish add on and my friend added some meats to hers so we could get more protein in, and the portions were hefty. One thing that was noticeably missing for me were quail eggs, one of my favorite hot pot ingredients. The place is clean, and the food turns over quickly, guaranteeing you a fresh batch. I also had the lowest expectations of the soft serve, but the pineapple dole whip and matcha soft serve were winners, so much so that I went back for seconds. Great value if you enjoy hot pot.

Waited an hour on Friday afternoon for walk-in. I was excited to try the top Thai spots in NYC and…read moreon top of that a Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant. Price-wise was excellent with most dishes around the $10-30 range. Portions were large and meant to be shared. As for the food itself, I honestly expected better. If it was ranking in the same leagues as Fish Cheeks, Pranakhon, and Bangkok Supper Club on Beli, I thought the taste would be phenomenal but it truly just tasted like any decent thai spot I could find in SoCal. The only difference is that in SoCal there would be little to no wait. I must clarify that my qualms is not with the restaurant but with NYC having an issue of overinflating certain places and establishing high expectations of otherwise normal restaurants just doing its thing. The pad see ew was my favorite, and I liked how wide and long the noodles were. Otherwise, their Michelin Yum Duk Pla Fu was just another mango salad to me, and I had wished that the catfish tasted more like fish than breadcrumbing. The green curry was decent, nothing special. Good price for what you get though. If the wait wasn't unnecessarily long, I would consider this a nice spot for cheap, yummy Thai.
