I tried to look inside the box to check the quality after I think she got the right one. She immediately put a sticker closing it. I asked her what's the name of this cake (thinking I was ordering it wrong) was and she said "?Strawberry??" & smirked. After I paid and stepped outside, I looked in the box and the cake is nicely uneven. Went in & aked for a different piece and she wouldn't let me. I said that it was "for a birthday!" She said no and then looked slightly outside. I think the young male owner was sitting outside - probably should've asked him first. Got a Pan Suisse & that was good. The top row of Middle Eastern lavash bread & honey, French baguette sandwiches looked great. I'd like to try more, but I'm not sure if I would go back. Upon my first bite, I assumed I would only be able to eat a few of my box because of the aforementioned crazy eating before coming here. But as I kept going, I realized, somehow, these little delights were nowhere near as heavy and filling as they looked. I definitely missed that here because a warm cookies makes a difference. On the plus side, they do let you sample the ice cream flavors before deciding, which I always appreciate.
