I feel I have come by too many times because they now point me to a spot and they already meet me with a bowl of soup snd my drink. I do appreciate thet remember me. The conversations have been great. There is a kind sushi chef that always makes sure that I Am taken care of and that I get all the sushi. I can handle.

At first it was great, reasonably priced sushi (by the plate). Every time I came back it became worse. I will say I will not be returning! First they took forever to get to the table. Then they barely had any decent food on the conveyer belt. Idk if it's because it was on a Thursday but there were no good sushi's to choose from if it wasn't that, then everything was spicy. Secondly, the food instantly took my daughter to the restroom. At the restroom there was only one stall that was working. The bathroom was dirty, no paper towels, and hardly toilet paper in the stall. The toilet paper wasn't even in the dispenser. Lastly, there were women in the bathroom when a man tried to come In and clean the bathroom. He was told several times that there were still people in the bathroom and he still tried to proceed to come in. P.S it took forever for the server to come back to our table throughout the night and with the check. Gratuity is added automatically!

After a long, tiring workday on Valentine's Day--no date, and totally unbothered--I decided to stop…read moreby OK Yaki, which is quickly becoming one of my favorite spots. It was busier than usual--probably thanks to the holiday--but the atmosphere was still fantastic, as always. The service was impeccable--attentive, warm, and full of great suggestions. I ordered the chicken okonomiyaki, a miso soup, and, after my last time's mistake, just one negroni--because, wow, that drink hit like a Mike Tyson punch the first time. The miso soup was, as always, a comforting classic--those little tofu cubes floating in that warm broth are just perfect. But the star was the chicken okonomiyaki. I only got the small one, but the flavor was out of this world. The chicken was so unbelievably tender--like, the A5 wagyu of chicken. I can still taste it days later--it was that good. I can already see it becoming my go-to, though I might go bigger next time, depending on my appetite. One of my favorite things is that OK Yaki keeps the kitchen open super late--especially handy on a Saturday night. If you're reading this and you're on the fence--don't second-guess yourself. Get in there, soak in the vibe, and treat yourself to some of the best food around. I can't wait to go back!

Just to be clear this is not a spot you would go to watch a game or bring a large party so don't do that lol. The parking lot that they have is very small so keep that in mind. You can see signs that point to around the neighborhood, which is around the corner. It's in a strip mall so it shares a lot with a few other places. It's not surprising that the lot is going to be full of homeless people if you try to go. When you come in, you have to wait until you're seated and once you get greeted it's usually pretty cool. Everybody else is pretty friendly and they keep coming up to the table to make sure you're good. Well that was my first time experience at least. Handmade gyoza - the gyoza was really good and it had a very savory flavor and taste to it. It felt like they were very fresh and they filled them to the brim and you could taste it. I got the pork ones because I wasn't getting tofu lol and they were really really good and I would actually go back for those when I go back. Okonomiyaki - this one is a weird one so it's a pancake type of situation but it's more cabbage than pancake. I'm not sure how I feel about it but it wasn't terrible but it wasn't really good either. Now I will say that the fact that what sent this over was all the sauces that they put on it. I'm not sure what the brown sauce was but at the same time I know that the mayo was basically drenching it as well. You can get one topping on there and the selected topping was steak. The flavor of the sauces and the steak pretty much carried the pancake because it didn't have a lot on its own. I am glad I tried it but I probably would not rush back for this. Karaage - it's fried chicken. It's not like it's anything earth-changing or somebody's auntie or grandma making it but it was pretty decent fried chicken. It came with mayo that you can dip it in but it wasn't anything life changing to me. Japanese curry (steak) - the Japanese curry was good but it was just curry. It wasn't anything that I couldn't get anywhere else at another type of restaurant but it was good and it was savory and it gave me exactly what I needed. When I ordered curry it came with rice, which was also nice that you could use as part of the meal as well, but it was just pretty good curry. Just if you need options... It comes in vegetarian if you want to do that because they have a tofu version as well but I didn't get that at all LOL! Overall I would give this another go but it wasn't a complete five star thing for me. It wasn't bad but at the same time it wasn't life-changing. I'd have to try a couple more things just to make sure. It was worth my time and effort and it will be worth my time to give it another go when I go on that side of town.

So I've been craving sushi, but since moving to a different part of Atlanta, I didn't feel like…read moredriving an hour to get sushi lol. Anyways... I used my Yelp search for a sushi spot and actually looked at the pics to see if the rolls looked good hahaha. I found Tokyo in this search and let me tell youuuu.... It was sooo good. Upon walking up, they have a huge menu on the outside window, so you can look at it before walking in or if you are passing by. Inside there is room to eat-in. Behind the counter there is a small section where the sushi rolls are made. You can also see the guys on the hibachi grill preparing food. I ordered a shrimp tempura roll without cucumber, a Tokyo roll without avocado, and the steak and shrimp entree. They give you enough seafood sauce in the bag, but if you want more, they have their sauces over by the drink station. Noooow let's get into this foooood. I looked at it and knew it was going to be really good.... And looks were NOT deceiving. Both of the rolls were PERFECT!! I was actually mad that I didn't get more, instead of getting the entree lol. The tempura salmon ontop of the Tokyo roll was sooo crunchy. Oh my!! It was soooo good!! I'm only giving 4-stars because the steak and shrimp entree was very bland. Next time I will get extra rolls rather than the entree. Oh and the prices are realllllyyyy good too. I will definitely be back for more rolls!! If you like sushi... they have a nice selection and you can watch the gentleman make them!!

They have to go menus & you go to the counter to place your order & they give you a number then bring the food to you. The atmosphere is kind of blah but the food wasn't! We tried a little bit of everything, since it was our first time. The sushi - it was nice & freshly made. While it was good, it oddly tasted dry. I guess I'm use to my sushi having sauces on them & I guess the ones I ordered were sauce less. The hibachi - my friend enjoyed their order, said it tasted good. They ordered the steak, chicken, & shrimp combo with veggies and rice. The chicken wings - VERY GOOD!! They were seasoned to the bone & fried perfectly. The dumpling (pork) - tasty & tasted even better with the sauce that goes with it. The spring roll - crunchy and delicious! It comes with one but I could have easily eaten more. The sweet tea gets an honorable mention bcuz it tasted fresh & was perfectly sweet. I've had sweet tea at restaurants that tasted sour or stale, like it was a day old or had been out all day. Not this tea. It was delicious, like I'd made it myself at home. We would definitely return!

The vibe was warm, friendly, and welcoming, which made the atmosphere enjoyable. Phew. I don't think that I've had a worse dining experience in years…read more I haven't been to Benihana in so long. The only reason I ventured there was because my boyfriend wanted to finally take advantage of one of their birthday gift cards, so we decided to head there for lunch with our toddler. We made our 1:45 reservation by just minutes, but we were quickly seated by the young lady at the hostess stand. As our table filled with other guests, we chatted as we waited for a server or chef. We waited. And waited And waited. Around 2:20, a super sweet waitress named Ashley greeted us. She was so nice! She went down the menu options at lightning speed and took our drink & appetizer orders. Later on, I saw Ashley handling two other large parties, even being super fun & engaging with a tambourine celebrating a birthday at another table. So to be clear, Ashley was amazing! The issue came when we continued to sit without even water. Yes, servers put their drink orders in but it's even more than that. Seeing that she seemed to be the only server with multiple tables, that's a bigger issue. As we continued to wait for any attention at all as other tables got drinks, we noticed a woman who was obviously management. She repeatedly visited the POS system which was DIRECTLY next to our table. She continued to glance at our table, seeing that we had no drinks and that I personally looked disgruntled. She continued to walk around the dining room looking over tables but not doing a thing to help an obviously overwhelmed team of servers and chefs. When we finally got her attention, she gave us the "one second" finger, walked away and then finally came back 5 min later. When we voiced our concerns, instead of offering any assistance, apologies, hell, even a carafe of cold water for us as we waited. She walked away, talked to Ashley and kept going. When my boyfriend went to the restroom minutes later, he respectfully addressed her again and she still did nothing. When does someone step in to say, "We're sorry for the delay, can I get you all a drink? Our chefs are a little backed up, we'll get someone over here with your apps." As a former waitress and bartender, as well as one who frequently dines out I understand and appreciate the hard work happening there and that things happen. However, the lack of communication, haste or desire to even help turn around a bad experience proved that this location and management team lost 4 different parties of customers in one swoop. We all ended up leaving our table empty around 2:51 after being beyond fed up with the lack of effort on the manager. I thanked Ashley before leaving as she was the only one to even try to apologize and explain the situation while her manager continued to dodge accountability on our way out. What a disappointing waste of a time.
