This place has been around for many of years. And also noticed that they were selected as a best location as a business to visit. The staff here was really nice when we walked in, had patience with us as we were deciding what we wanted to order. They have a very extensive wall menu with lots of variety and choices. So when you walk in what you see visually as food is not the only options available. I was happy to see that they had egg foo young. Which is one of my favorites. We ended up getting about for all cart items to go. All of which were very good. Pretty convenient location as they are also very close to a laundromat for those that may be looking to catch a bite to eat while doing their laundry. Pretty reasonable in their pricing as well. Our items lasted us two days for two full meals for two people. Very small inside, so just beware as you open the door there may already be a lot of people inside which may cause for a little bit of a weight outside.

Im so disappointed. Ive been here maybe 3 times and this made me not want to return. I ordered the combo #4 and a mini combo. Out of the 5 things I ordered, the only thing that was good was the egg foo young. The chow mien was bland, the fried prawns were filled with a mini "prawn" and air, the chicken in foil was oily, soggy, and tasted like chemicals. Not sure what was going on today but I didn't even want to share this with the family because it was unappetizing.

My husband found this place on yelp and decided to give it a try. They have a very small parking lot but you can park on the side. This is a very small grab and go restaurant. There's no tables just two chairs where you wait till the food is ready. The service is fast they have done already made things or they start making it as soon as you pay. We ordered two dinners it cost $16. They literally fill it to the top on the to go box it barely closed. They gave us so much food they got a box and put it in there. It took my son 2 days to finish all of it. He said it was really good. For the price and quality it was amazing. Definitely recommend this place if you like Chinese food.

I got the fried chicken, chicken chow mein and fried rice combo! It was sooooo good. Very affordable. I highly recommend it. The fried chicken was crispy and juicy. Would've preferred more flavors from it but it helped with protein and adding to the chow mein and rice. The fried rice had this nice sweet tinge to it. Staff were friendly and parking is right outside. It's a pickup ambiance so no seating. Cute quaint spot for quick Chinese food to go.

My favorite Chinese food spot! I've been enjoying their amazing dishes for over 30 years, and they never disappoint. The BBQ pork chow mein and foil-wrapped chicken are absolutely delicious and my go-to favorites. The flavors are always spot on, and the quality is consistent. Highly recommend!

Truly one of Lodi's gems. My parents have been eating there before they had me. Low prices for such a huge plate of food!

Decent flavor on the orange chicken but overall the food was bland and super greasy. Would rather go elsewhere.

That said, this experience needs to be shared -- especially given the complete lack of concern for customer experience and food safety. I'm visiting the area for the weekend and decided to grab soup dumplings with a friend. It was our "cheat day," so we ordered about $60 worth of food, which wouldn't have been an issue if it had been edible. We ordered two lunch combo plates, pork bao buns, and pork and vegetable dumplings. Food review: I ordered the General Chicken lunch combo. It tasted nothing like expected and was mostly thick breading covered in an overly sweet sauce that was supposed to be spicy. The rice was honestly the highlight of my meal -- though rice is hard to mess up... or so I thought, considering how sick I am while writing this, and that was mostly what I ate. My friend ordered the orange chicken, which looked and tasted exactly like mine--again, mostly breading. Her chow mein was cold in the middle, which made it seem like it was microwaved. I'm not usually nitpicky, but this was already turning into a bad experience. The pork bao buns weren't as bad as the rest of the food, but once we got to the "dumplings," we stopped eating altogether and threw everything away. The dumplings we ordered came out as steamed potstickers. I wish I had taken a picture--they looked awful. We gave them the benefit of the doubt since this place is literally called Dumpling House. That was a mistake. I took one bite of the dumpling with the sauce provided (soy sauce with chili flakes), which masked the taste. On the next bite -- without sauce -- I immediately noticed a horrible flavor. I smelled the dumpling and it had a rotten odor. At that point, I was completely done. When I got up to wash my hands and walked toward the bathroom, I took a closer look around. I noticed tin serving dishes that staff appeared to be eating directly out of, and a "wrapping" station set up on a table with wrappers laid out and a container of wonton filling just sitting there at room temperature. I don't know how long it had been out, but my friend mentioned it was there when we first walked in and assumed it was fresh. We were seated for about 30 minutes, and the filling remained out the entire time. Pork should absolutely not be left out that long -- and clearly, based on what we experienced, it wasn't safe. I've now spent the last six hours sick in my hotel room. Not only do I feel awful, but I'm also missing out on activities I had planned for this mini trip. Dumpling House -- please do better. Please care about your customers' health and safety.

Turn the clock forward a decade and guess what, the food is still outstanding and the service is still attentive and kind. It was a 2 1/2 hour drive for us so we were good and hungry when we got into town. The owner greeted us warmly and a friendly server (her son), came by to help us. We decided to order: Hot & sour soup - heaven in a big bowl. Savory broth filled with delicious ingredients. It was well flavored, not too spicy or tangy Mu shu chicken - 4 pancakes with hoisin sauce. Our server wrapped our first ones for us. The dish contained the typical scrambled egg, sliced cabbage, protein, etc and it was fresh and tasty Beef with asparagus -noted in the entry that asparagus was in season so we had to order it. Meat was tender and the asparagus was cooked beautifully House chow mein - Fried perfectly and not doused in a bunch of sauce or oil. The protein on this dish was plentiful and it was simple and delicious. I loved how they didn't add chives/green onion to these dishes. The hot & sour soup had a few little green onions for color but this is the first time I've been to a Chinese restaurant that doesn't overfill the dishes with onions (as I don't like onions). Maybe that's the reason I enjoyed everything so much. Portions are very generous! We had lots of yummy leftovers. Our server told us that two of his brothers were the chefs. My kudos to them; they certainly know how to cook!
