It was our first time going here. We didn't even know there was a Chinese restaurant at this location. Anyways....we were craving for some Chinese food and we ended up at this restaurant. You won't have any problems finding parking. There is plenty of parking because it is in a shopping center. We really like the ambiance. There was a lot of historical culture inside the restaurant from the color of red to the dragons and various pictures. We were surprised with how big the restaurant is inside. We were seated right away and the service was good. They served us our tea and drinks right away. We didn't have to wait too long for our food as well. The food was pretty good. I don't have any complaints. We would totally go back here again.

Flavorful beef with oyster sauce. Cooked just right with al dente broccoli!

I want to support local restaurants, but you can't support an establishment if the servers are RUDE (especially when I wished them a Happy Chinese New Year!) and they don't listen! My husband ordered the luncheon Hot Braised Pork and she heard Sweet and Sour Pork! Then the waitress got prissy at my hubby because he corrected her. Boy she sure didn't like that! She ignored my hubby the rest of the meal. Then I got my "hot" tea which was really warm tea with only one tea bag which took a long time to steep - ratio wise, 1 little Itty tea bag in the huge pot of warm water? My tea looked like colored water with absolutely no flavor. Suffice to say, unless I am desperate for Chinese food again, this restaurant is now a miss!

Eliza treated me to lunch and I was pleasantly impressed with their Prawns, Mongolian Beef and the Sizzling Rice Soup. Eliza ordered another order to take home. They were delicious I definitely will return

We also got steamed white rice, hush puppies, and calamari on the side. The restaurant is located in a large strip mall with plenty of parking, and inside has a cute beachy/ocean vibe. The space was very clean and comfortable. The seafood boil came out piping hot and was absolutely delicious, perfectly seasoned and full of flavor. The steamed rice was fluffy and paired really well with the seafood, and we enjoyed the hush puppies too. The one thing we didn't care for was the calamari. Unfortunately, it was extremely tough and chewy, which made it hard to eat, so we wouldn't order that again. The wait staff was friendly and on top of things throughout our meal, which we appreciated. Overall, I think this place has the best seafood boil in the area, especially for the price - you get a lot more food here compared to other local seafood boil spots. We'll definitely be back!

I really enjoy the service that we get here every time we do visit because everybody that helps us out is very pleasant and nice and cordial. The atmosphere is kind of set up like a sailor ship or something rather but of course pertains to the sea. They do offer other things on their menu and they also serve alcohol beverages if that is of your interest. Good day, Yelpies!…read more As someone who has spent years chasing authentic Asian cuisine, I'm always amazed when an unassuming spot completely exceeds expectations -- and this Vietnamese gem did exactly that. From the outside, tucked into a humble strip mall, you'd never guess the culinary experience waiting inside. But the moment you walk through the doors, you're greeted by the intoxicating aroma of simmering broth and fresh herbs -- what I can only describe as "Pho cologne." Honestly, if someone bottled that fragrance, I'd wear it daily. Yes, the menu offers the traditional Vietnamese favorites you'd expect, but every dish arrives piping hot, deeply comforting, and bursting with authentic flavor. The pho is rich and aromatic, the ingredients taste incredibly fresh, and each bite feels thoughtfully prepared. What truly elevates this restaurant, however, is the hospitality. The staff operates with a level of attentiveness that is becoming rare these days. Drinks are constantly refilled, every table is checked on with genuine care, and you can feel the pride they take in both the food and the dining experience. Even better, the restaurant is spotless and welcoming -- the kind of place that instantly makes you feel at home. Don't let the strip mall location fool you. Some of the best Vietnamese food is found in places exactly like this, where the focus is entirely on flavor, warmth, and authentic hospitality.

She was very nice and helpful. We shared a piña con coco cocktail, which I really enjoyed. It had a spicy rim and was sweet, but not too sweet. We ordered the guacamole, which was made tableside. I ordered the enchiladas al comal, which looked really good. Unfortunately, I didn't love the chipotle sauce on the enchiladas and wished I had ordered a more traditional red or green sauce. But it was still good, and I can see why it's popular. I did enjoy the steak and vegetables inside the enchiladas. I was leaning toward a 4-star rating since I didn't love my enchiladas and wouldn't order them again. But Isabella's service was so excellent that it alone pushed my review to a 5.

The prickly pear margarita tasted more like a pink Jolly Rancher than anything else, which just wasn't for me. My fajitas were alright, but they came without any sour cream or guac and the pico was mainly onion. When I asked the waiter, he told me they don't come with it, even though the menu said otherwise. Without those, the fajitas ended up being really dry. I ended up just paying and getting ready to leave, but when I grabbed a menu again and asked about it, they apologized and offered me chips and salsa to go, which I appreciated. The staff was very nice throughout, but the whole experience felt a bit disorganized. Overall, it just didn't feel like a good value for the money, and I left pretty underwhelmed.

I needed a few extra lemons, and it took a while to ask. Other than that, everything was good overall.

I really wanted to like this spot, but we probably won't be coming back anytime soon…read more We love the Milpitas location and assumed all locations offered the same drinks. We were disappointed to find out this one doesn't offer micheladas or Coke Zero (only Diet), both of which the Milpitas location offers. Service was also frustrating. We came in for a Friday lunch and they weren't busy, yet it took a while for anyone to acknowledge us and seat us. Even getting our order in was difficult because our server rarely came by. There were only a few other tables and three servers total, so it didn't make sense. We had to wave multiple times just to get someone's attention. The biggest issue was when we ordered 3 lunch shrimp boils and added 1/2 lb of extra sausage. Each lunch is supposed to come with 1 corn, 2pcs sausage, 2 pcs potatoes, and 1 boiled egg. Naturally, we assumed ordering 3 lunches would mean three orders of all of that, and one of the bags would have the extra sausage. Instead, they put all the shrimp into one bag. Ok fine but then we noticed we only had 1 corn when we should've had 3 in there. Once we noticed we were short on corn, we realized we were short on everything else too, with 2 pcs potatoes, and 1 egg in the entire bag. When we brought it up, our server said we should have specified that we wanted three separate bags. That didn't make sense to us. We've ordered the same way at the Milpitas location and received 3 separate bags with all the included items in each. Even if they combined everything into one bag, it doesn't explain why we were missing sides or why we would want less sides. She did say she'd bring out the missing items, but again, it was difficult to get her attention. The servers were mostly standing behind the counter instead of checking on tables. We also noticed their lunch pricing varies depending on shrimp head-on or head-off, which is different from the other location (they charge the same for either) and the Stockton location is slightly more expensive for lunch too..maybe b/c they add an egg? The egg was also over boiled and almost grey inside (you know what I'm talking about!) The yolk just crumbled. The sauce though was consistent and that's what we love about Cajun Crackin. Same great flavor. Overall, we wanted to give this location a chance, but between the slow service, the pushback on what should have been a straightforward order, and the limited drink options, it just didn't leave a good impression.

It's contemporary and the furnishings are quite comfortable. It's the type of place you can settle in and have a casual meal without feeling rushed. Prices are high yet the quality is excellent. For the first evening at the bar we settled into a high top table. You can sit at the bar, lounge type seating or outdoors on a pleasantly shaded patio. They had an expanded bar bites menu as the main restaurant is closed on Wednesdays... most of it quite enticing. We opted for cocktails to start and I chose a specialty Date Maple Old Fashioned. It was really good with a large ice ball to chill it. For bar bites we shared the pork belly sandwiches (small, delicious but messy to eat), the sausage skewers (amazing!) and crab cups (refreshingly light and easy to eat). After cocktails we had glasses of a light white wine, made with Santorini Greek grapes. For the next meal in the dining room the place was a buzz with activity but conversation was easy without a lot of excessive noise. It's intimate and the room is quite pleasant for a gourmet meal. We started with cocktails (same Old Fashioned) and shared the grilled Brussels Sprouts which were plentiful and ever so delicious. They were slightly over grilled for my taste yet it didn't distract from me enjoying them. We got bread which was a baguette with butter and the consistency perfect for a French style loaf. For my entree I debated between the scallops and the pork chop and went with the chop. I was quite pleased as the chop came in thick slices and drizzled with a tarragon mustard reduction sauce. It was amazing, tender, juicy and at 22oz I couldn't finish it all. It came with a tasty apple sauce and grilled seared cabbage. Absolutely delicious. Ed, celebrating a birthday, had steak which came with a huge bowl of mashed potatoes which I tasted. Oh my gosh, the creamiest potatoes ever! For dessert we shared the cheese plate, a really great way to end the meal, with glasses of a twany port. All of the cheeses from a brie to a hard cheese were top quality. Service both times was very attentive, professional yet personable. We were well cared for and everything went smoothly. It's expensive yet the experience and value is worth visiting. The potato puree had a nice flavor and texture, but incredibly salty. I love salty potatoes, but this was over the top. The Verde rice that came with the steak was under cooked and crunchy. We really enjoyed when it used to be Towne House. Unfortunately, won't be going back for food there anymore.
