It was our first time going here. We didn't even know there was a Chinese restaurant at this location. Anyways....we were craving for some Chinese food and we ended up at this restaurant. You won't have any problems finding parking. There is plenty of parking because it is in a shopping center. We really like the ambiance. There was a lot of historical culture inside the restaurant from the color of red to the dragons and various pictures. We were surprised with how big the restaurant is inside. We were seated right away and the service was good. They served us our tea and drinks right away. We didn't have to wait too long for our food as well. The food was pretty good. I don't have any complaints. We would totally go back here again.

Flavorful beef with oyster sauce. Cooked just right with al dente broccoli!

I want to support local restaurants, but you can't support an establishment if the servers are RUDE (especially when I wished them a Happy Chinese New Year!) and they don't listen! My husband ordered the luncheon Hot Braised Pork and she heard Sweet and Sour Pork! Then the waitress got prissy at my hubby because he corrected her. Boy she sure didn't like that! She ignored my hubby the rest of the meal. Then I got my "hot" tea which was really warm tea with only one tea bag which took a long time to steep - ratio wise, 1 little Itty tea bag in the huge pot of warm water? My tea looked like colored water with absolutely no flavor. Suffice to say, unless I am desperate for Chinese food again, this restaurant is now a miss!

Eliza treated me to lunch and I was pleasantly impressed with their Prawns, Mongolian Beef and the Sizzling Rice Soup. Eliza ordered another order to take home. They were delicious I definitely will return

I ordered a #3 combo and a side of ranch for $17.50 before tip and tax. It came with a large slider, another chicken breast on toast, a large serving of crinckle cut fries, and a drink. It was a lot of food and I had leftovers, so I was happy with the size of the portions. The slider had a big, thick, piece of fried chicken breast on it. It was a little spicey, topped with pickles, sauce, cole slaw and served on a nice brioche bun. It was one of the better chicken sandwiches I've had in a while and very satisfying. The chicken breast on toast, was silimar and just as satisfying. The fries were hot, chispy, and lightly seasoned. I enjoyed every one as I dunked them in sauce and munched them down. The staff was nice, and prepared my food quickly. The dining room was basic, but functional, and the drinks were self-serve. I'm happy to give them 5 stars. The food was really good.

This is the second time we're missing one of the sides like literally it's country fried steak, mashed potatoes, and coleslaw and a biscuit there's a spot for each item. How do you forget one of the items? Also, I order one of the boxes for my husband that comes with two different sauces. We literally got no sauces whatsoever no butter or honey for the biscuits. Nothing the box comes specific with two sauces and nothing. I did call the manager absolutely nothing that he could do for me over the phone, but I wanted to let them know that their employees are getting paid $20 an hour to mess orders up. So don't worry I also already did the survey and I'm gonna talk to corporate. I gave them a slide last week, but seriously your Wednesday crew is definitely lacking. And I know sometimes people might say that's not that big of a deal but it is a big deal. I can't just go back with my autistic child who is already having issues today and the main reason that we go is for their country fried steak deal and if I had the time I would've dug through the bag to make sure everything's there cause I definitely do that at McDonald's. I damn sure make sure I get my barbecue sauce for my kids nuggets before I pull away cause I've done that mistake once before. But when all three boxes are stuffed in a bag and I got him screaming in the background I don't really have time in the drive-through to do that. I just expect these people they get paid $20 an hour to not forget the items that are requirements for the items that are being ordered.

I somehow have the misconception that their food is inexpensive, but it always costs me more than I would have figured. And then there's what you get. I ordered a classic chicken burrito, but upgraded to chopped breast and extra cheese, because their stringy regular chicken is gross and usually in such small quantities that you barely notice it's there. And the extra cheese because, again, I actually want to experience its presence. This time they actually pulled it off to a reasonable degree. I could tell that there was chicken, and it was the right kind of chicken (I've tried this because and never actually gotten the chopped upgraded meat despite paying for it), and the cheese was a realistic amount. Of course EPL isn't in the business of giving you what you pay for as far as value is concerned. It was still a mostly rice burrito with a few beans. But the big disappointing was the taco I ordered. I upgraded the chicken, added cheese, and asked for no onions or cilantro. It came with what I ordered, and what I didn't want too. For $4 none the less. Remember that this is a $2.50 item anywhere else, and they couldn't get it right. So I had to throw it away because I can't eat it, and couldn't pick out the stuff I asked them to not include. So literally every time I come here I over pay and they get the order wrong. And they weren't busy. There was one other couple on the restaurant. I'd also like to point out that, although I didn't order any, their sides cost more than some of their menu items. Like in the $7 range for a side of steamed broccoli or mac n cheese. Highway robbery. Do yourself a favor and just go to a taco truck.

I called the Lodi Wingstop to ask why, and the person who identified themselves as the manager told me that because they were so busy, they weren't accepting promo codes. We were told our options were to either wait an hour between placing our meals or drive to the Stockton location. What made the situation even worse was the manager's attitude. Instead of trying to help or offering any kind of solution, they were rude, dismissive, and acted like we were inconveniencing them just by asking a question. Customer service goes a long way, and this was one of the worst interactions I've had. If you're going to advertise online promotions, they should either be honored or clearly communicated as unavailable before customers place their orders not after. Very disappointing experience. To make matters worse, we ended up going into the store anyway to place my husband's order. Unfortunately, the poor customer service didn't stop there. The same rude attitude continued, not only toward me but toward several other customers while we were there. It was disappointing to watch people simply asking questions or trying to place orders be treated with such disrespect. Being busy is understandable but there's no excuse for treating customers poorly. A little kindness and professionalism go a long way, and sadly, that was completely lacking during our visit.

And the fried rice has pork in it. I'd love to see this place level up a bit, and I'd be in here all the time. I think they need to stand out a bit, not just with their prices, to compete with the other two Chinese places within just a couple blocks. I appreciate that they offer combo meals all day. I don't know why other places in town only have them during limited hours. I'm one person that wants a meal, not a huge portion of one item. No brainer. I also don't understand the idea of the takeout family meals, where they choose the dishes. Just let people choose what they want, right? They're not the only place that does this. In fact I think almost all Chinese places do this in Lodi. I still don't get it. This wasn't a thing where I grew up. I want to say that they have some growing to do, but since this is a "local" chain, I feel like they probably have a formula that they stick with. Another Chinese place was here before. They were ok. Took a long time with orders, and had weird menu limitations. I think that if Sherman's wants any kind of longevity here, they will need to adapt a bit. Also, if people want onions and jalapeños on their food, let them choose. Don't impose them on us.
