Just had my first Chops experience. I asked the cashier which burrito was the most popular and she said "All of 'em." Okay, I said, let's start at the top. The Bulgogi sounds great. Whoooaa! Way better than great! For about $13, I have two huge meals. Half of this burrito and I'm stuffed! Seasoned and spicy. I feel a strong wave of guilt today at the realization that I have not written a review of Chops!! I totally thought I had, but upon coming in to (what I thought) "update" my review with a photo of their latest menu, I realized I never written that first review. Shame on me. It's literally one of my top 3 (if not my top 1) favorite eateries in the puget sound. I live in Edmonds and I drive 30 minutes every week to go there. My #1 reco - Bulgaritto (beef is obviously the best, but since I'm trying to eat less meat, I've gone to the organic tofu, which is also amazing). Tofu is one of the few things you should always eat organic (because of the amount of pesticides in conventional soybeans), but there are only a few eateries that serve that. So this makes me doubly happy with Chops. A very close second: Huli Huli chicken anything (I usually get the burrito, because it's easy to transport and eat), but the plate is delicious too. And the combo plate with bulgogi beef and shrimp is bomb too. They also have pho... which a number of folks I've taken to loves. Basically everything is good on the menu. I had an internal struggle about sharing my love for this place but I wanted to give back to my local community and decided to let others know about this hidden gem. Stop what you are doing. No really, if you aren't in your car, get off the couch, get out of bed and drive to Chops. I will wait. This place has amazing burrito fusions and every single one is delicious. I haven't tried the fish as I am not a seafood person ( although if I see food... thats another story for another day..) The burritos are humongous and good for two meals! If you have a roomie like I do, consider the huli huli and the "flaming boar" and each take a half. It's literally breakfast time and I am thinkin about Chops. When I am at work, I think about chops. ADIDAC. Yup, all day I am dreamin I am quite a self proclaimed "foodie" (what a millennial term ‍) but OMG chops. It may be the top 3 items I have ever eaten in my 32 years of eating solid foods. I have yet to have something I didn't like and I have tried all the burritos minus the fish (see above). Too bad this place is hidden in a spot that not many people will know because DANG THIS PLACE IS GOOD. Their burritos are absolute bonkers and have so much flavor in them. The restaurant itself totally a mom and pop shop in a small strip mall that looks relatively new and well maintained. I'm sure it's to cater to locals and those that work at Boeing. Chops looks like it serves asian fusion and the only reason I found this place was cause I went on Yelp and searched for food. It was the #1 post and had the best reviews but it was 15 mins away from where I'm at. I decided to give it a shot and oh boy was it worth it. I ordered a loco soba and three bulgorito's for family. The burrito portion is HUGE and way bigger than what you get at most Mexican restaurants. For $10 this is a steal because I can just cut it in half and save the rest for later. I honestly don't know what else to say but just go and try it! The Yelp pics you see are spot on. I don't even know how they wrap such a perfect burrito and makes me more disappointed at my local Mexican restaurant cause they can't even do as good as this. read more

I work right near here but never came. Turns out I have been missing out. This is a fusion of Mexican and Korean food. Basically they offer Korean burritos. They are not cheap ($10) but are HUGE. I had the Kraken which had batter fried fish, French fries (yes inside the burrito), calamari and other fillers. Simply fantastic except I could only eat 1/2. We each had the chicken rice plate. We were surprised that it was just chicken and rice, with no salad. It tasted good, but definitely needed a small salad on the side. Anytime I've ordered teriyaki, for example, it comes with a small salad. What's up with that? We've also had the huli huli and beef burritos, which had lots of good stuff in them, including greens, although ridiculously huge! Definitely need to be eaten with a knife and fork - too big and awkward for hand held. Otherwise, very good!! read more

FOREIGN OBJECTS FOUND IN FOOD! I used to come here frequently when I lived in Lynnwood and it was always delicious. Now I live about 90 minutes south so I cannot eat here often. My gf and I made the drive up to Everett and ordered a Bulgorrito and Locosoba. Initially everything was delicious but then I bit into something really hard. Upon spitting out my food, I discovered a black chunk of plastic. I immediately lost my appetite and went back to tell them what happened. I showed the lady at the front the chunk of plastic and explained that I bit into it and didn't feel comfortable eating my burrito. She just kept saying that's weird and didn't offer a solution. After a while of uncomfortable awkwardness, she offered to make me a new one which I appreciated. However, this is where it all went south. She tells the cooks what happened and asks them to make me a new burrito. That's when the cook starts talking trash about me in Korean. He says that it's impossible and that there is no way that the plastic came from them. Says they didn't put it in the burrito. Called me a liar and accused me of putting it in there myself to get a free burrito. Refused to make me a new burrito and had to be convinced by the lady to do it. In addition, I bit into a hard, solid piece of bone in my replacement burrito so I had to throw that out too. What they didn't realize is that I myself am Korean and can understand everything they said. And obviously they didn't purposely put a hard chunk of plastic in my food but that doesn't change the fact that it came from their kitchen and got into my burrito. Accidents happen and I was willing to look past it and let it go until they talked all that trash. That level of disrespect is what has permanently lost my business. read more

Wow this place punches way above its weight. Small strip mall near the warehouses nothing close but worth the drive. The fusion of Korean deliciousness in a wrap. I had the crunchy chicken, Katsu style chicken with great fresh veggies rice a yummy sauce. By the way be hungry the wrap is huge. I can't wait to try the Bagogi beef. I will say, skip the egg rolls they are food service, pre-made and as incredible my wrap was these you can get in the frozen isle. read more

I went to Chop Exoress for the first time two weeks ago by recommendation of a co-worker. I had envisioned a teriyaki stop but was pleasantly surprised to see the unique choices available. I chose the Bolgoritto and was not in the least disappointed. It was an enormous serving of food that was easily 2+ meals. The flavors were intense and fresh. This place is in a random strip mall and doesn't look like much but ...WOW!! I already have my next meal planned out. It was flavorful, fun and filing. I shared a Bulgorrito and Pot Stickers. It was more than enough food but next time I need to go with someone who likes spicy as I want to try adding kimchi or get a Flaming Boar.
