The owner, I believe, who took my order was also incredibly friendly and patiently waited while I decided what to get. That kind of hospitality really adds to the experience. Between the excellent food and the warm service, this spot deserves way more attention. Honestly, if a place like this were located closer to downtown, like South Lake Union, Queen Anne, Fremont, or Madrona, it would easily become one of the most popular teriyaki spots around. This teriaki is horrible ! I love teriaki therefore I have tasted many. This one I have to say is the worst. My work is near it and it was lunch time so I decided to go I. And try it. The taste of the teriaki ( well there's no taste) it's flavorless . They definitely need to work in their spicey sauce. Started working back in the area and resumed going to Happy Tummy again. And The tummy is def happy! Portions sizes have gotten smaller but Shrinkflation is just a fact of life these days. Prices obviously have risen in the past few years. Quality of the food has NOT changed. Still damn tasty. They have added some newer Korean dishes that I have not tried yet but will.
