Services are great. Good quality meats. If i come again i may not get the Premium buffet ($39) which is $10 higher than the lower level. The main reason I chose premium was because it has ribeye. However, there is a limit of 1 for the ribeye. The main differences between the premium ($39) and lower one ($29) are: -ribeye (limit 1) - seafood (shrimp, octopus, and squid). We just tried octopus, but not others. -appetizer: fried chickens, etc. What i tried and like are Kalbi, beef bulgogi, tofu soup. Tried and fell it is okay are: fried chicken, octopus, bibimbub. We've been coming here since the soft opening and were excited to finally have an AYCE KBBQ spot nearby. Unfortunately, over our last few visits, we've noticed a decline in both the quality of the meat and the service. There was no greeting when we walked in, our orders took over 25 minutes to arrive, and during the entire hour we were there, we were only checked on three times--one of those being a request to settle the check just 30 minutes into our meal. I'm not sure what changed, but the experience is no longer what it was when we first started coming. read more

We tried this place while we were up north. The decor is so cool it feels like in Asia right away. There was no line but the place was very busy and packed. We waited about 15 min to get table. Once we sat down and ordered, things come fairly quickly. Service was courteous. They offered to change the grill pan several times which was nice. All the meat we had was good. They served pretty high quality of short ribs and briskets. The AYCE price actually is tax inclusive so just need to pay tips. We will be back. read more

I used to love this place but recent management decisions has destroyed the experience. Used to be $38 for premium option, then raised to $41 and as much ribeye as you want. Now you can only get one rib eye per person per meal. And it's only 4oz. When it was unlimited they would bring you an 8oz ribeye each time you ordered. Now the wife and I can only get two 4oz ribeyes for the premium option. I understand price increases. They should have raised prices again. Maybe to $45, idk. But limiting me sucks. Not to mention, soju is like $16 a bottle but at Safeway it's $6. So I definitely feel the ribeye limits are unnecessary. Not our first time here. Been here multiple times. Since it first opened actually. Party of 5 (4 adults & 1 child). Walked in before 7pm on a Sunday night (7/12/3037) - (they close at 9pm), didn't get greeted by anyone - just straight up seated. Employees had the most stuck up faces. No one ever stopped to check how we were doing or if we needed anything at our table. Had to flag down employees for a grill change, to get more meat, & didn't get asked for any drink refills. The only female who was taking orders or bussing tables at the time, brought us our refill of meats & did a grill change was also the gal who grabbed plates to clear some room on our table & she was stacking our plates & bowls to take them & was doing it so loudly & slamming them all together. & slammed down the new rice bowls we asked for. & every time we flagged people down & serviced, we as a table would say thank you. Not a smirk or a word from any of the employees. The only person who asked how we were doing & if we were ok was a the same person who gave us the check. It seemed like he sensed something was wrong as when he was ringing us up, he asked how our visit was. We understand it was the end of shift, but not even speaking to the customers? Cmon! We told him straight up, he was great because he was the only person who asked how we were doing.. But the other workers could smile sometime or speak / interact with the customers. OMG ONE OF THE BEST KBBQ PLACE I'VE EVER BEEN TO!!! Place was relaxing & chill. Walked in and was greeted immediately. Explained everything to us since we were 1st timers. 3 different workers helped us & they were awesome! One lady (don't know name) was very joyful and chit chatted with us about the soju flights and telling us about her favorite while doing her job. Food was amazing! So many different options for AYCE! They let u choose any meat (multiple) and let me tell u the sides were perfect. We got fries, chicken wings, white rice, kimchi rice, cheese corn and soup. You will be timed for 90 minutes as soon as u order to finish all your food. But i'm pretty sure everyone can finish it before time ends since food was delicious and well seasoned. And if you don't finish they tell you before hand that it would be $15 per person added to the bill. WE FINISHED!!! They deserved that good tip & will be coming back for more!!! What a vibe! The inside had some decor on par with LA town. We came in as a group of 3 on a Sunday night. We waited 30 mins for our table. The service was friendly, and I enjoyed being able to walk up to a banchan bar for extra kimchi instead of calling waiters like other restaurants. Tip: Order your rounds of meat ahead of time -- one of our meat orders took 15 mins to arrive. For the price of $39pp, I can't complain too much. The prices of KBBQ closer to Seattle / East side are $50+pp. In terms of meat quality, I thought it was reasonable given the price. If I wanted high quality cuts, I would have gone to a non-ayce. Love the addition of another kbbq spot up north, especially one that's AYCE (all you can eat)! Service here is amazing, everyone was so friendly. I love that they have a buffet line for their banchan (side dishes) and sauces, as well as some fresh fruit and veggies for grilling. They offer 2 options for AYCE - first is around $36 and premium, which is the additional ribeye per person and more appetizer options, is about $40. They also have al a carte options if you aren't interested in AYCE. We went with regular dinner AYCE, and I love that they have thick cut as well as thinly sliced pork belly. My favorite appetizer is the fried rice cakes, definitely try those! I also love their soft tofu soup and ours didn't come with any meat, so we just added the kbbq meats into it. Another thing I love is that they offer bibimbap (mixed rice) rather than just white rice. Try the hot stone bibimbap, and don't be scared of the red sauce they bring out because they made theirs more sweet than spicy. The menu and flavors are definitely on the "safe side" as they are catering to the demographics of the area, so we'll still have to travel to at least Lynnwood (Baekjong has intestines and Arirang has spicy raw marinated crab) when the cravings hit, but I'm still happy that options for Asian food are expanding up here! read more

This was our first time here. We went on a Saturday evening so it was cozy and bustling inside. It was busy but there was 1-2 table available, luckily no wait for us. We did the basic ayce. We were in the mood for beef so did orders of the beef brisket and marinated beef short ribs and refilled those. The marinated short ribs were amazing- melt in your mouth and just a really good marinade. They have a veggie & ban chan bar which I really liked and also a handful of hot apps as part of the ayce option. The beef and soft tofu soup was fantastic-- the broth was super tasty. The service was spectacular too! We had our grill changed 3 times when it was burnt without having to wave someone down. It was great! We live in the Seattle area but we would totally make the drive back up here just for the delicious food & awesome experience!! read more

I follow this influencer on IG and the places she recommends are pretty good. Since I was at the Seattle Premiere Outlet decided to give this place a try. Normally there's nothing good to eat around outlets. Walking in it appears to be nicely decorated. It was busy but we still got a table within 5 minutes. Let's start with the pros: - Nice decoration - It didn't have the heavy smell that other BBQ places have. - They didn't limit the amount of meats you can order at 1 time. Note- there is a $15 charge if you waste food. - Meats were seasoned very good. - Salad bar area with veggies, sauce, side dishes. Cons - reasons for the low stars - Overall bad customer service. When we had a question they were too busy to answer. Took them a while to get back. - They didn't ask if we needed a refill of water until after we paid our bill. Lol! - Ordered 2nd round and they brought us the wrong meats. Plus we had to get the waiter attendant to order more food. They won't come check on you. - The salad bar could have been better. Missing Jap Chae which all other Kbbq have. The fish cakes wasn't that tasty. Kimchi wasn't that good too. - Waiters running around like chickens with their head cut off. They also didn't clean up the dishes when done. - Expensive for the amount of available meat options. No wait for dinner on a Wednesday night. AYCE for $40 for adults, it's $16 for kids under 4.5ft. There is barely any side dishes (banchan) to choose from. I do appreciate they have bibimbap for AYCE. Me & my friends weren't too impressed with the meat quality. If you do get the premium meat it's an extra $7 and everyone at table has to do it so we passed. I frequent the other Korean restaurant in Marysville but was invited by friends to try K BBQ for an early dinner. Not a fan of the seating - booth seating with tall backs so it feels cramped and closed off. The interior decor was fun with a Squid Game mural, movie and ad posters. They offer All you can eat (AYCE) and ala carte. The conditions for AYCE are... diners in a group must order the same menu option; observe the 90-minute dining limit; leftovers cannot be taken home and there is a $15 "fine" for leftover food. Sounds fair, right? We weren't big eaters, so we opted for ala carte. The server took our order but seemed rushed. Maybe he wanted us to take the AYCE option, who knows? Omg! We finally got to try this spot and wow! It took us a while to go because the whole $15 fee for leaving leftovers kept us from visiting but after seeing how food is served and the experience we had it is actually legit easy to eat what we can and not have to pay that fee! The food is delicious and served it nice simple servings to where you pretty much eat up and if you still feel hungry then you can decide to order more. The salad bar area has such great selections as well as having an amazing abundance of appetizers that go with the AYCE buffet! We were in KBBQ heaven!!! Once the platter came we didn't have not yet one worker come up to ask if we need water or napkins. One of my new favorite KBBQ spots in my area! I have usually gone for dinner or weekend and I'd pay $35 p/p, I believe. I love that you can grab your own sides (buffet style). 1) We were greeted at the door by the server who promptly seated us. She was friendly at first but as the time went on, she was slightly impatient and curt with us. 2) The table was a bit dirty, the menu had dried up sauce on it. There are boxes on the tables with silverware in them. The box was dirty and quite frankly, I don't want to have dig around for a fork or anything else. Not sanitary at all. 3) The Korean chicken I ordered was overcooked and hard. It was mostly dark meat, which is not my favorite but the portions were generous. I don't think paying $16 dollars for a plate of dark meat is worth it. 4) I ordered water to drink and towards the end of my visit there, I looked into my cup and there was some sort of glaze like stuff covering the top of the water. They might want to clean their little pitchers they give you, to refill your water. 4) There was an old grease smell flowing through the restaurant and also because we didn't use the table top grill, you could smell a slight smell of propane throughout the meal. 5) After we were there for a bit, more help started to clock in and we ended up getting a completely different server. Our original server never showed back up and never asked us if we liked our food or anything. Our new server saved the day and was very attentive and pleasant, unlike the opening server. I will not be going back to this establishment and feel like wasted $65 on a cruddy experience. read more

Place is delicious. I am so happy that there is a spot for all you can eat Korean barbecue north of Lynnwood. The place has separate menus where you can upgrade and get higher end meats. Also, the all you can eat ramen is separate from the all you can eat barbecue price wise. Also, what was told is that you can only choose one ramen style for all you can eat or you can do more than one with price charge. The quality of the meats was delicious in my opinion. The appetizers are included in all you can eat menu as well. This place is nice and really happy that a location is north of Lynnwood. Great food and service! The "sides" bar was the cleanest and had the most options compared to the other KBBQ's down south. Our family loved the fried chicken but everything was great and came out on time. I wasn't going to give a 5 star review solely because I was hoping to gate keep this place. I thought the price was very reasonable given the quality of the cuts. Service was pretty good and our grill was changed pretty frequently. Banchan were fresh and not overly salty. Store was beautifully designed with a lot of vintage signage and... a big squid game mural. But the highlight of the meal was actually the fried chicken. I was skeptical about ordering fried chicken because my poor a** believes that it's not strategic when doing ayce (oops). Well I was happily wrong. The owner used to own fried chicken places and this was one of the best fried chicken I've had in the states. It's quite close to those olive oil fried chicken I've had in Korea. So freaking delicious. We visited during a weekend evening and it wasn't super busy. I'd be curious to see if service gets compromised when the restaurant becomes more popular/busy. This is possibly only the second Korean bbq (and the only AYCE kbbq) spot in Marysville and I'm so glad to see a better Asian food scene here. So came back to this place a second time, was sad to see they changed the menu now there is a $7 person up charge for the premium meats like the ribeye. At $38 including the ribeye and flatiron It was acceptable even though it was a bit high considering they don't have a lot of the staples my family loves, but for $45 that's a bit too high, no saying I would not recommend or will not return but it will not replace my usual spot even though it's closer to home. I must admit or confess that I've been to a lot, I mean a lot of a lot, of Korean barbecues. Most have been AYCE but not all. What I most am looking for and enjoying is the galbi or kalbi, along with corn cheese and sometimes some KFC. This place was quite a find and really surprised me that it was so good and worthy of five stars, especially considering all the places that I've been to in California such as Koreatown. I'm still glad there's now a decent AYCE Korean bbq in Marysville/north end and have been raving about this new spot to everyone since it first opened but unfortunately they've updated their pricing since the last time I posted a review and feel I need to give an update. It used to be that the entire menu was one set price of $38.99 (which is a bit more expensive than other AYCE places around the area and/or equivalent to Seattle prices but felt justified since it included all meat selections) but when visiting again last week with a large group, discovered they've now added a $7 per person for everyone at the table if you order the "premium meat" selection regardless of if everyone is or is not eating the premium cuts. They also no longer offer the flat iron steak cut. I'd be okay with the price increase if only the service didn't change so much as well. First time I visited, our grill was changed multiple times without asking but the last visit was only when our grill was so burnt we had to ask several times just to get it changed once. If we now are being charged significantly more, why decrease the service, neglect or forget refills, while still able to diligently keep track of the 90 min limit? This place is still a great spot in my opinion. Love the old school Korea interior vibe. Bummed about the recent price changes but completely understandable from a business perspective. I'm happy for the business owners for having a successful start and hope they will be able to continue on. I'd suggest to the owners that if you are raising your prices so significantly in such a short timeframe, especially for a timed all-you-can-eat, to staff more people per shift to justify the price increase. Only downside with this place however you are capped at an 90 min and they are strict about it, and the service isn't very good there. Long story short: Been coming since soft open, have been watching this place deteriorate over time. Service is incredibly slow and inattentive. Quality of meat has been deteriorating, very gristly and cheap cuts. We will not be recommending and visiting this place again. My partner and I have been coming to The KBBQ since its soft open. We used to love this place until lately. We knew something was wrong when we entered and were not even addressed by the staff. Having been here before, we just signed up for the waitlist and waited in the small waiting area. We waited about 20 minutes before we got our table. And then waited about 10 minutes before a server showed up with a tablet as the person who seated us said he didn't have a tablet to take our orders right away. Then, we waited about 15 more minutes before meat showed up. Our sides arrived erratically--stone bibimbap first, then the soup and kimchi fried rice. We ordered two orders of fried chicken, but received one order about 30 minutes into service and a complete hour later. We were placed in the corner of the restaurant, table 5, and ignored the entire time. At one point, a different server came up to us and asked if we were ready for the bill when in reality, we were waiting for the rest of the food and a second order of meat to come through. I watched as servers kind of did their own things, ignored checking on us, and saw two servers clean just one 4 person table after they were completed. There seemed to be no management or communication between the four workers. The stone bibimbap was a joke. Stone bibimbap is supposed to be so hot that it crisps the rice as it sits. It was cold and as if they just threw all the ingredients in a slightly warm bowl. Our table ran out of water and management, please tell me why it took your workers 30 minutes to come up to our table and check if we needed anything. By then, we were so fed up with the lack of service and accountability that we just paid and left. One hour later, only two mediocre rounds of KBBQ. I don't even think there was a manager on duty, so all the team members were just doing their own thing, not coordinating and making it easier for anyone. When we spoke about our frustration, we were only told "sorry" and "do you want to talk to someone about it?" Someone? Clearly not the manager then. There are so many more KBBQs in the area and we will be going to them from now on. I suggest that others do the same as I would not waste any more time at this establishment. You deserve better.
