They came out quickly and were pretty, crispy, and well seasoned, but lacked "crab" whether imitation or the real thing. My first one had no crab & was filled with seasoned cream cheese filling. The second one that I had a spec of red that may have been imitation crab meat. The order was also missing one of the rangoons out of the five it should have came with, so attention to detail lacked. It seemed like we received the fried cheese wontons instead of the crab rangoons. Based on this experience, I would order fried cheese wontons versus the crab rangoons if we tried ordering from this location again. read more

We got our order to-go and appreciated that there was a designated seating area in the lobby for pickups, separate from the dining area. Worth noting--this is not a buffet; it's menu-only. Also, there's a 3% surcharge for debit/credit payments, which seems to be standard at a lot of Chinese restaurants lately but still feels a bit annoying. Our order took about 15-20 minutes, which was totally reasonable, and the staff was polite. We stuck with some simple classics: House Fried Rice, General Tso's Chicken, Crab Rangoons, and eggrolls. Everything was solid. My husband especially enjoyed the General Tso's--it had whole chilis rather than just a spiced sauce, which gave it an extra kick. My House Fried Rice had plenty of meat and baby shrimp, which I appreciated. The Crab Rangoons were a little overcooked and sweeter than I like, but still edible. As for the eggrolls, my husband said they were good--but, in his words, "it's kind of hard to mess up an eggroll." Overall, a satisfying, no-frills meal with reliable flavors. I have visited this restaurant at least three times and all three times I had excellent service. It is a very simple restaurant, but it is clean and the food is solid. It's not at the top of my list for gourmet Chinese, but I feel it is a step above your run-of-the-mill takeout Chinese, where everything tastes the same. We have been for dinner service, and today we went for lunch. I think the prices are fair and I and my friend enjoyed our lunch. The only critique today was with the egg rolls. They tasted ok inside, but had a taste that the oil might be old on the outside. The best thing about this place is the service. The waitresses are all friendly and very attentive. read more

She repeated the order back to me as "hunan chicken with no chicken, add tofu" that added a $4 up charge The meal with crab rangoon and two super greasy spring rolls was $29. Ordered our food to go and paid more than we would have at our usual spot. Serving size is about half of our preferred restaurant. Even though we got the food and immediately went home with it, everything is extremely dry and flavorless and only slightly warm. Absolutely terrible on taste. Egg rolls could rip your teeth out with how tough they are. My girlfriend ordered beef and broccoli with fried rice, she was not given fried rice. The steamed rice itself does not look or taste like Jasmine or basmati rice, it resembles a generic white rice made on the stovetop at too high a heat. I started eating at Chopsticks out of pure desperation, but as the restaurant has matured it has improved. It began as the only Chinese restaurant for miles, now it's a favorite with very good food. Everything is very good, and if you ask for a spicy dish, it's genuinely spicy but not overdone. If you like hot and sour soup, be sure to ask who's cooking -- Wan makes the best soup. Someone else likes to use organ meats in it, which gives it a strange metallic flavor -- so if Wan isn't cooking, don't get soup. The portions are appropriately sized -- dinner is bigger than lunch, and I usually have enough to take home for another meal. The egg rolls are phenomenal. You can order all-white meat chicken in chicken dishes if you like. They will do substitutions within reason. You can even add more vegetables if you like them (and I do)! Please don't go in expecting to be able to order dishes from other restaurants' menus. Don't ask for spaghetti and meatballs. Don't insist on chicken fingers. This is a Chinese restaurant, not one of those places that tries to have a little bit of all cuisines. If you want Italian, go to Olive Garden -- there's one in Carrollton. (Inspired by watching a family try to order teriyaki chicken and shrimp from another restaurant's menu, and get incensed when the waitress couldn't order spaghetti and meatballs for them. Really people, what are you thinking?) I've tried most of the dishes on the menu, and haven't really found a bad one. I personally love the Vegetables with Spicy Garlic Sauce with noodles instead of rice. I've noticed that sometimes they'll sneak in some cheap meat, like hearts and gizzards, which is why I always order white-meat chicken now. The food is mediocre. Our server, Rose, hasn't been friendly at all since we walked in the door. I waited 5 mins for her to leave the conversation she was having with her coworkers to fill my drink. When she finally did, I said thank you and she replied "mhmm." I ordered a side of mushrooms for my daughter and only got 3 mushrooms. She was very impatient and unfriendly. The food was terrible and the worker was snacking at the buffet. The place easily fooled us by looks but we were in for a rude awakening. It looked normal at first but once we tried the food it tasted like a brick. It was dry and tasted like nothing. We tried ordering and it was dry too. I live here in Bremen and the choices may be limited here but even compared to many Chinese restaurants I've been to elsewhere this place is among the best. Granted that depends on what you order because some things are exceptional and others subpar. This is why people should try several things from restaurants like this instead of jumping to a conclusion based on 1 visit and leaving a bad review. Every Chinese place I have ever eaten at before gives you AT LEAST an egg roll with your dinner. At Chopsticks, you do not get an egg roll or even a soup with your entree. I sucked it up and ordered fried won tongs to go along with my meal, only because I was already there, and surprise, surprise..... they weren't worth the money I spent. We paid $9 each for a small take out order and it did not include ANYTHING..... if you want and egg roll, or soup with your meal. Do NOT got to Chopsticks... The food isn't that good, to top the fact that you do not get the usual items that go along with Chinese take out. I give them a 1 start. The only reason they are still in business is because it is a "one red light" town and there is little, to no choice there beside MacDonald's The food and service sucks!. I don't understand the hate on here. We eat here relatively often, and while they don't offer the "big city" atmosphere that some other restaurants offer, my family enjoys the food. The waitresses are always polite and professional, and are willing to check with the cooks and take special orders when allergies are a risk. I live in Fairburn GA and stopped here on the way home from Center Alabama to bring food home to my husband. Ordered Spicy sesame chicken, fried rice, order of chicken wings, 2 bags of soup chips. Chicken was rubbery and was NOT spicy, did not get fried rice it was white rice, did not get but one bag of soup chips, and did not get chicken wings at all. And they want me to bring food back (~70 mile round trip) in order to get a refund. This place is a joke....... read more
