We decided on Chinese for dinner and chose this place. We dined in before we took in a movie. The seating is limited but the food was fantastic. Some of the best we have had. I had sweet & sour shrimp and my wife had the Happy family entree. The only negative we found was the y temp inside was pretty warm. I would suggest you turn the thermostat down a few degrees. Chopsticks at Clocktower Shopping Center looks like a typical strip-mall Chinese restaurant on the outside, but on the inside it's exceptionally clean and more comfortable than similar eateries. The food is fresh, inexpensive, served in large portions. I dare say the egg rolls are some of the best I've had (and served with a side of sweet / sour if you like to dip your egg rolls). I'll definitely be going back! It takes a bit longer for the orders to arrive at the table than a fast food restaurant (I think my order took about 12 minutes to get to my table), but that's more than satisfactory for a freshly-made meal. read more

There's never any shortage of strip mall Chinese fast food restaurants. But this one is better than most. You can tell by the way the food is presented that they actually care about what they're doing. Then there's the portion size. As we were leaving after dining there, we had more leftovers than we normally pick up if we're doing carry out. Fountain drinks with free refills were only $1.50. We were served quickly and politely. This place is amazing. You probably walk in and think "these prices seem maybe 5-10% higher than most Chinese food places." And you're probably right. What you find out almost immediately, however, is that the portions are 50-100% LARGER than any other Chinese food place in town. I've been twice now. I wanted to love this place, because it's so close to my house. But, the food just isn't good. As a rule, I replace meat with tofu. I had the General Tso's "chicken," and the garlic "chicken" the tofu all stuck together and turned slimy. But the piece that makes me not want to return is the lack of spice, garlic, and flavor other than 5 spice. They are really heavy handed with the 5 spice, so regardless of what you order, it's sweet. Too, too sweet. I like spicy, garlicky food. And neither of these dishes fit the bill. Additionally, soggy spring rolls, and hard crab Rangoon. I think I'm done with this place. read more

Staff is very friendly and they are taking very strict precautions during covid, plexiglass everywhere!Food is quite good and they give generous portions! I don't care for their fried rice. I don't know if they put curry in it or what, it's quite yellow and doesn't taste like "normal" fried rice to me. Their white/Jasmine rice is very good though. The spring rolls are very good and seem like they are freshly made vs. frozen. Crab Rangoon doesn't have much flavor and the dough wrap part is very thick, but crispy. Hubby enjoyed the Mongolian Beef. We normally order from Mr. Hui's 2, but he doesn't like their Mongolian Beef, so we tried someplace new. We also had sweet/sour chicken (huge portion of chicken, good, but has lots of breading), and Moo Goo Gai Pan (sp), very good but veggies were over cooked. Zucchini was cut into thin pieces which made it kind of mushy. I prefer my sugar snap peas and other veggies a little crispy. I prefer Chopsticks spring rolls over Mr. Hui's (I think their's are frozen, usually doughy inside), but I prefer Mr.Hui's Rangoon/fried wonton, more flavor. Will order from Chopsticks again! Ordered/paid online via Menufy. There was an extra fee for covid ( not much $1-$2, prob to pay for plexiglass ), convenience fee ($2-3, not sure why) and a minimum mandatory 10% tip (or larger) , FYI. Going to call restaurant next time. Maybe there will be less fees??? FYI, Mr. Hui's 2 gives a 5% cash discount, coupons with each visit and I usually get a free order of crab rangoon with online code. I call them to order to avoid extra fees. read more

Huge portion size. The food is fantastic! Their peanut butter chicken is the best in Lincoln. They also have amazing coconut shrimp and cashew chicken. I want to stress again, the servings are huge. If you have a huge appetite you probably still couldn't finish one order. Until I found this place I didn't eat chinese food a lot. Not the case anymore. I go in to pick up food and they know me by name. Food is really good, the steamed dumplings are awesome and the size of a fist (well almost). The dinners are huge as well, so much so that you will almost certainly have leftovers, which with this food is a major YAY. Lo mein noodles are awesome and thick. The chicken teriyaki is awesome and the wontons are awesome as well. Friendly people. Food is usually pretty quick too, but may take a while if it is in a slow time but only because they are making it fresh for you!! I love this place and eat here entirely too often. LOL read more

-READ ALL THE WAY-If I could give them a ZERO I would. The place was literally the worst place I have ever dined at. It was tiny, busy (I thought this was a good sign assuming it it was because the food was good). It's understaffed, the lady taking our order was running back and forth between the kitchen and front. They weren't friendly and they expect you to clean their tables after you're done. My two friend and I ordered over $50 of food and I ordered the the 'Singapore noodles fun'. On the displayed pictures, it says the name but none of the ingredients.. it looks like noodles veggies and chicken. I can't eat pork and just the smell of it makes me sick. Anyway, after over 30 mins of waiting, our food comes and low and behold there's pork in my noodles. As the server places my plate down in front of me I ask him what the meat was on top and he quickly says "pork" and walks away. He comes back with the rest of our food and I tell him that I can't eat pork and that I didn't want it. Like I said the smell alone was making me weezy. My friends were shocked that they didn't even offer to replace or refund my meal.. One of my friend goes up to the front lady again and asks if they were planning on replacing the meal or refunding the money and they lady barks back saying "you should've told us if you were allergic, that's your job not ours." My friend then says that the picture did not indicate pork or have pork anywhere in the name and if she was going to do something about it since we paid money for it. She said she's going to talk to the cook and doesn't come back to the front to let us know. A few minutes later she brings a plate of the same dish (supposedly freshly made without pork) and rudely throws it on the tables an says "here it Is no pork". I ask her if it was a new one since I'm "allergic" (I'm not actually allergic I just can't eat it for religious purposes and they seem to not give a fuck if it's religious but It's a life or death situation like a allergy they tend to give a little bit of a fuck). She assured me it's fresh and it's not the same dish they took back the first time. I take a bite and automatically know it's the same. My friend pick out a few pieces of pork in their "fresh new dish". I was disgusted by their gross food, horrendous customer service and lack of care and safety for their clients. I gave up I didn't want to bring it up again but as we walked out my friend went up to the terrible lady and told her that their was pork in the noodles and that there was no way they could have made a fresh batch of breaded shrimp, chicken and all those noodles in less than five minutes. The lady finally said "yes I'm sure they did make a new one, do you want like a refund? I can give you $5.. and my friend laughs and says "no thank you". The server had the nerve to then say "well I'll do you a favor and go clean up your table because your supposed to clean your own table." That was our Que to get the hell out of there. Again, I will NEVER EVER go there again. I'm disgusted. Please save your money and your Time and go somewhere else. read more

I recently discovered this gem in southeast Lincoln simply called "Chopsticks". I went in to the restaurant, eager to see the menu. I was more then happy to see that they served angel hair (mei fun) on the menu, ordered that, fried dumplings, and spring rolls. Before I get to the taste, I will say that the staff helping me was Maggie, co-owner of the restaurant. She was very kind to help with the menu, and a great person to talk to. While I waited for the food (to go), I read some cards on the wall. They decided to put them up on the side of the wall with vacation pictures of Asia, so why not? They were thank you cards from customers who had eaten here! They thanked the owners for the great tasting food, that came with generous portion sizes. I. Was. Excited. The food was given with a smile and a thank you, and then I headed home. The cards did not do the food justice. The portion sizes were massive for the money you paid, so if you wanted a follow up meal, you came to the right place. The food tasted incredible. If I never visit China, I will feel as though I had at least gotten to eat there. Nothing was greasy, the food was still steaming hot, with nothing overcooked, as some places tend to do. Tuesday four thirty to seven thirty they have buy one get one entree half off. This place has been a new spot for me and my significant other you get run of the mill Chinese food and if you get the large plates you literally have four meals you could split it into if you really want to. This place is a great spot with consistent quality very friendly service and always very clean. The food is always made to order and I have yet to find something I don't like. I'm not a crab Rangoon person but they have them for a good price and I always see a couple tables with a whole plate full when I visit. I recommend the Mongolian beef if you love spring and sweet onions if your not an onion fan it's not for you. Their Kung pao chicken and beef are both really good not spicy ATALL unless you ask for it to be. General tsos chicken is really good if your wanting fried chicken, it has a lot of good flavor packed in. well, you see. I went here on Christmas Day (I know it's Christmas but they were open). I ordered shrimp fried rice at 7:33 pm. My friend ordered just plain fried rice. It is currently 8:24pm. A little bit ago, we were informed that they were out of fried rice??? we were confused because we had already been sitting there for a long time and people that had come in after us had gotten their food and left before us. do you see my confusion? they gave us a gift card for $10 but there were TWO of us so how are we supposed to share it?? they gave us a calendar too so that's nice but i want my money back. thanks so much. read more

I really do not like Chinese food because of past bad experiences. I tried Chopsticks when I first moved to Lincoln, and my mind was changed. This is the only place I will eat Chinese food at! The portions are big (if you dine in) and the prices are reasonable. The employees are always friendly as well. They deliver and do take out. I highly recommend this place. I really wanted to like this place as a friend recommended it , but When the owner came to give us our food and did not even know what it was, I knew it would not be good. Out of 3 meals ordered, none of them looked like what we thought we ordered. $52 for a meal that was not good.
