I loved the service I received when I mentioned I was a first time patron. It smelled amazing from the outside and even better on the inside. The salad is not made the traditional way. The toppings go In first and the base (lettuce) is added on the top. Next you pay for the salad. Then they add fresh cracked pepper and salt. The dressing is the added all in a stainless steel bowl which is then tossed and chopped. It's then added back to your container with an optional piece of sour dough bread to enjoy! read more

I go to this place a lot like once every 2 weeks or so. Today I did delivery through the app and it was 30 minutes late and the actual quality of the bowl was just not where it needed to be. Since I get the same bowl every time I could tell they didn't fill it with as much stuff as they usually do, the avocado was literally rock hard and they gave me two whole halves (I just threw away the overly ripe half). They didn't give me dressing on the side, and it was just overall not good quality the way it was made. Will still order from Chopt but wouldn't recommend the delivery service. There was line when we walked in, but it moved quickly. There are plenty of choices with great detail on each option. I chose the Palm Beach salad which says it's under 400 calories. I always love when healthy spots pop up close to me. Chopt is probably the best spot in Atlanta to get a nice salad, that isn't an arm and a leg. You can order one of their menu salads or you can make your own. They have other options too such as hot bowls but I always get a salad. They also have seasonal items that are pretty good. The restaurant is very modern and clean. It's a go through the line and sit down kind of spot. They're located in the shopping center near Hal's & Panera. There's plenty of parking. We did an online pick-up order for this location. My mom ordered the chicken shawarma salad bowl, which I believe was a seasonal menu item. Of the three salads we ordered, hers was by far the tastiest. I did a create your own salad, with ample veggies & protein, and my dad ordered the Chinese chicken bowl, which is served warm and with grains. What I love about Chopt is that the portion sizes are MASSIVE. It is unusual to eat a salad and feel very satiated, but this place packs the bowls full after chopping up everything. Chopt is one of my favorite salad places for a quick lunch, and this location was able to make our orders quickly during lunchtime with no errors. I live in Buckhead and there's not a lot of quick, healthy food options so I'm glad to know that Chopt is right around the corner. I have really been trying to increase my green intake and Chopt is a great spot to get a healthy filling of your greens with a vast variety of ingredients. You get a great choice of proteins and veggies and can even create your own. I ordered the Asian Crunch Salad and the combination of ingredients was a perfect blend of chicken, crispy shallots, spicy vinaigrette dressing, pickled red onions, cabbage & cilantro blend, rainbow carrots, & romaine. The many flavors in this salad give a great sweet and spicy combo. I will definitely be back here again because their salads are fresh and tasty and on top of that they are big enough for 2 helpings. ***SUGGESTION*** Ask for your salad dressing on the side in case you don't eat it all your lettuce won't get wilted. The reason I was unable to give Chopt a 5 star rating is the process in which they have us pick-up/order our food. There are 3 separate lines but it is hard to tell which line has your order. There's no room for patrons to stand so we are bumping into each other. I would pass the patron who's order comes to the line first to the farthest chopper that way they will already be near the cash register, which would help expedite their check out and keep them out of the way of the other patrons. read more

I have been anticipating the arrival of Chopt to Atlanta. I have heard all about them from friends in New York. So imagine my excitement that I discovered they have 2 locations and working on a third. As soon as air arrived, I was greeted by their friendly staff. The salad size is also too big for one meal portion and way too overpriced. We payed $26 for 2 salads which to me is a little crazy. The salads were tasteless. The load of dressing on them didn't help and I Had to keep adding salt to have some flavor. Ended up getting a wrap which was better than both of the salads. This was my first time visiting this place. I was in the area and looking for healthy lunch options. The line was long but they moved pretty quickly. I estimate I was in line about 15-20 minutes. The employees were very friendly and fast-paced. All employees wore masks and there are tall glass barriers between you and the food. You can build your own salad or choose from several recipes they created. You go through and choose your salad toppings (they also have warm bowls with a base of either cauliflower rice or grains like quinoa). Then they mix your salad for you. I got the Georgia Summer Cobb salad and the Harvest warm bowl with cauliflower rice. I took them home and ate a little of both. The salad tasted better to me than the Harvest bowl. I still have some of the Harvest bowl left so when I eat it again, I will add some seasoning to it. I thought it was a little bland for my taste. I do recommend this place if you're a salad lover or if you're trying to eat healthier. Also a great place for Vegans. read more

The staff here is terrible. Rude and uninviting. I ordered multiple salads for coworkers none were labeled. Literally had to open and pick through to see which was which. I will never come back here again. Save yourself time and headache and avoid this location by any means. Makes no sense to have such terrible service in an area so nice. Update: Each salad had multiple items missing. I was basically given bowls of lettuce. Their ingredients are NOT organic. This place needs to be closed immediately. I finally tried this place out over the weekend. I wanted to give this more stars as much as others talked it up, but the experience in store wasn't great. Parking: Let's start with parking. FREE. 5 stars for that. Waiting in line: The line is where it took a while. I waited 12 minutes to get to the ordering section in the line. At that point, I knew what I wanted. Ordering: If you choose the create your own route, you choose a base + 3 toppings + a dressing. I liked most of the toppings, but the toppings section had a lottttt of toppings in other toppings bins, which doesn't make you feel really at ease being Gluten Free. Are there croutons floating in other buckets? I couldn't be sure. Anyway, once you pick out your toppings, you pay.... This is before the dressing section. INTERESTING. The salad cost about $13 including some grilled chicken. Definitely not cheap, but pretty on par with other similar concepts. Dressing: The last section of the line is the dressing section. They must offer 20 + options. It's a lot. I was a little annoyed that i asked to try two of them to decide and the person chopping and dressing my salad decided to squirt both on rather than letting me taste test them. Perhaps I wasn't clear enough but I would expect a request to try chipotle and a balsamic vinaigrette would raise some questions and cause me to ask if I heard someone correctly... a pretty bizarre combo. Once I essentially yelled stop, the employee scooped out a good 1/4 of my salad and finished mixing. The salad flavor was good, and the very chopped texture was pretty nice vs. chewing kale leaves for 10 minutes each. I did enjoy the salad, but hope to have a better experience next time. 20 minutes for a meh salad wasn't what I expected. read more

I have orders Chopt several times during a busy day to my office using Door Dash. Today, my salad arrived without the dressing. I called the store back and the woman who answered was extremely rude and basically told me I could drive to the store and pick up my own dressing. This is not realistic to my day which is why I selected delivery. It's in no way Door Dash's fault, but she said I could seek a refund through them, but not Chopt. The rudeness was the worst part. The chopt app makes it easy to order and customize, and when you select a desired pick up time at this location it's always dependably there waiting for you in the pick up window. There's always complimentary "spa" water which I guzzle, and the tea and local kombucha options are always a solid option. We ordered our lunch online. Not much time as I had to get back to work. Salads were ready on time. Rushed back to eat lunch and found out both salads were not correct. It now appears on the phone app that we thought we were selecting what we wanted in the salad was actually selecting items we wanted double. Therefore the two items we did not want actually were in the salad. Call the store explained what happened. They did not care, the manager was rude, offered a $5 coupon. We just ordered $40 worth of salad. He then explained that we should have ordered the salad as create your own instead of selecting what we wanted. We were a first time customer.
