Horrible experience with customer service with the manager Liad. My smoothie was awful. I paid $2.50 extra for ginger and there was no ginger in my smoothie. The manager, Liad, had the audacity to call me after I already spoke with an employee for a refund - to tell me he watched the cameras and they did put ginger in my smoothie and that "this isn't smoothie king". He was extremely rude and refused to refund the cost of the ginger and continued to argue that I was wrong which to me, is going above and beyond to be rude and maybe one of the worst customer service experiences I've experience with the way I was spoken to. I love this place so much it's my go to for lunch/dinner everyday after work. Gil the guy that works the front, is a God send. He knows what I like to order and he even remembers what food allergies I have. The food is so fresh, delicious, and it's not outrageously expensive. You get what you pay for, so if you want high quality food it's going to cost a little more. The inside of the restaurant is nice especially the patio, so sometimes I stay and eat my food. If you dine in they'll wait on (bring your food out, bring you utensils, and pick up after you) even though you're not tipping. Needless to say KMC one of my all time fave spots. I've eaten KMC for years and have enjoyed their healthy and tasty menu. I recently went to this specific location and had a phenomenal experience and had to share. As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted by Gil who, next to the quality food is the reason why I will be coming back again and again. He recommended a new food item that was advacado toast with scrambled eggs and it was delicious and filling. I haven't ordered the advacado toast in the past as I don't like hard boiled eggs but the scrambled eggs are perfect. Although my order was ready in no time I couldn't help but stay and eat (I ordered to go) so I could continue my conversation with Gil. Post covid I have found this type of customer service rare and wish more people like Gil were in the service industry! Extremely nasty, possibly racist service at Kale Me Crazy in Buckhead, Atlanta GA at 3167 Peachtree Rd. Took a walk over from the business I own nearby at about 2:30pm on 2/22/21. I have a debilitating back condition, and need a bit of walking exercise each day. When I got to Kale Me Crazy, the young lady working the counter was helping someone. So I sat down at the little bar they have next to the cash register to rest my aching back. The lady looked right at me, and I waved to acknowledge. As I waited, 3 or 4 more people entered and formed a line behind the person she was helping. When she was finished, she completely ignored me, and started helping the next person on line. So I said, "excuse me, I was waiting.", in a friendly voice. She says, in a nasty, snotty voice "The line is over here. We don't wait on people sitting at the bar". Leaving me no choice but to get up and walk out. Even the other people on line were amazed at her rudeness. We placed a rather large order with Kale Me Crazy Buckhead today and unfortunately our food was mislabeled leading to an office member (a vegetarian for dietary reasons) eating meat. When we called to remedy the situation - simply ask that the particular wrap that had been mislabeled be remade - we were met with hostility and a lack of care. Not only did the MANAGER argue with us about how to fix this issue but they hung up on the office member as well. The first time I went the service was horrible, which is why I'm giving it four stars. It was in the evening and the girl taking my order kept walking away during the order, made my coworker's smoothie wrong and then didn't bring me my drink until I asked for it again 15mins later.
