I have tried ChopT on 3 occasions and have to say my experience on all was dreadful. The lines are slow and the help very confused and inattentive. My final trip was a result of an order made online. When I arrived at the store the salad was not made. When they went to make it they forgot that I was waiting and never finished the salad after I was waiting some 15 minutes at the store. Finally got fed up and left. Company needs to think about service or they will never survive. read more

I have to say I've been to many Chopt's in Manhattan, and I am so glad there is one by my house now! Especially since I will never go to a Cosi establishment again. My first time in this location was not good but its only because I used the APP. I would say avoid using it. They charged my card 2 times, and the order came through so slow. I had to wait for it to be made once I got there (should have just not used it). I was appreciative that the manager there was apologetic and made my salad right away. The 2nd card transaction was accommodated a few weeks later after I went in and ordered another salad. I also noticed the price on the APP was almost $4 more than in the store!!! I've been to several different make-your-own salad chains in the city, but this was my first time to a Chop't. All in all: not bad. The space is really nice and brand new, with plenty of parking and seating. The line moves fast and the staff is friendly and prompt. However, the quality of salad chopping has been inconsistent, sometimes perfect but sometimes not chopped nearly enough. They have a pretty big menu to choose from and lots of options for a custom salad. I went for the Mexican caesar, which was delicious! Pretty spicy but I loved it. My only issue with it was that some of the lettuce looked a little brown, and some of the pieces were too big and not chopped enough. Regardless, it's a nice new addition to the recently redone Golden Horseshoe strip mall, and a good choice for lunch in the area. read more

I always get the chicken tinga bowl, it's sooo good. Usually the staff is quick and friendly, the green Mexican goddess dressing is my favorite. They also play great music inside is clean and great for lunch on the go. The other locations in NYC are inconsistent. read more

My husband got me a kale Caesar salad with quinoa chips. I was wondering why the container was empty for an inch from the top, it had only romaine lettuce, no kale....called the manager to tell him someone behind the counter isn't doing his job. He asked for my name, I gave it, then said "thank you , i thought you ought to know someone's not paying attention"and said goodbye! I eat here for lunch everyday because i grab starbucks next door (which is already a check plus for location ) . The space is beautiful and they have some really friendly staff. Everyone seems so interested in talking to the customers and they always seem to be smiling (which probably isnt the easiest thing to do all the time either) I would suggest the spicy santorini ! The warm chicken is to die for . Oh and the brownies are yummy too. Pay with the app for good rewards if you come often like me ( $10 for every $100) and if your in a rush order to skip the line , the order girl good is and usually early. read more

When I finally assembled the perfect salad for my dinner I asked her not to chop my already chopped kale but before I knew it, she decimated my carefully selected ingredients into smithereens. I don't yourecommend Chopt! I ordered 2 salads online to be ready for pickup at 12:45. I went at 1:15 and they were not yet ready. There was a tremendous line. When I went to eat the salads they were both completely wrong! $25 ... no meat and the wrong veggies and the bowl was 3/4 full. I called the place and they hung up the phone when I asked for the manager. This place is ncompletely disorganized and not worth patronizing. read more

Nice space and the location is great with lots of parking. We at there for the first time last night and its OK, bad points, the prep area is small, we got there right before the crowd hit. I am not sure how crew can handle prepping and chopping several orders at the same time. Their pricing is deceptive. I ordered the $8.99 spinach salad with 4 toppings. I chose egg, avocado, cheese and bacon. Suddenly the bill was $13. I asked how that happened, and the counter person answered "you ordered protein". Nowhere on the sign is there any indication that some toppings incur an extra cost. I asked what I could choose that would not incur an extra cost and was told I could have apple, cheese and vegetables. This restaurant takes advantage of people who can pay extra when they can't understand the pricing policy. I spoke to the manager who said I could have had the egg, and said that I could have the egg put back on the salad. I answered that it would be more important for them to fix their sign and menu for the future. read more

OK maybe that's the going rate but seemed pricey to me. Would have been ok but the salad was flavorless and the soup barely passable. I normally bring my lunch to work so I don't have to run out. However, today, a colleague of mine had forgotten her lunch and offered to go pick up some salads. I ordered a Cobb salad without avocados as I am allergic. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that my salad had been made in a special area that was reserved specifically for people with food allergies. We have picked up salads from here several times before and they were always delicious. This time, during the covid19 protocols, when we got the salads home - a 45 minute drive - we were pretty disappointed. Two of us ordered the same thing, but when I placed the order I specifically asked to leave 1 item out of one of those salads only. Of course it was left out of both and the other person had really wanted it. My bowl was filled to half the amount of the other same salad bowl. Another type salad had items missing that are on the menu for it. Instead of cutting up the 1/2 avodao in the other 2, it was simply placed on top. And lastly... we got 1 tiny piece of sourdough bread and 3 pieces of tiny and pathetic white bread! All bread were stale and rock hard - digusting! Never again I am very sorry to say. The service has always been good. Polite, helpful, friendly. No complaints there. The product however falls short ... woefully short... for the price. This is way overpriced. The staff was for the most part, friendly enough but the service was very slow and there was hardly anyone there. The girl drowned my salad with oil even though I told her twice, please just a touch of oil. No attempt was made to remedy it. It took forever to checkout and there was no one else in front of me.
