I've been to The Prince three times now, and every visit has been consistently great. The food is always fresh and the portions are surprisingly large--definitely worth the price. I love that the quality doesn't drop on repeat visits; everything tastes just as good as the first time. Service has been friendly and the atmosphere is cozy, making it an easy go-to spot. My wife and I were in Eastchester for our daughter's cheerleading competition. It ended at a perfect time to look for lunch. The Prince was less than a half mile from the competition. It's a rather new restaurant, very bright and modern. Ordering is accomplished on one of two high tech screen systems. Lots of flavorful and healthy options. My wife went with an autumn harvest style bowl and I selected the turkey meatball banh mi bowl. My wife's bowl had a nice amount of creamy goat cheese to complement the rest of the ingredients. I loved the hit of sriracha on my banh mi bowl. Turkey meatballs were excellent. Everything mixed together nicely. Gentleman working in the restaurant was very pleasant and put together some delicious bowls! They are owned by the same owner as the sandwich shop next door. Lots of options! read more

I'm only giving two stars because I enjoyed their pineapple and coconut juice and the worker was nice enough to let me taste it before I purchased it. The strawberry lemonade is also tasty. A bit disappointed that they weren't natural juices. The salad was lack luster. For $18 I should not feel like I'm eating a pre-made salad. The chicken chunks are soooo big. They're so big that I kept getting them stuck in my teeth and just made the whole meal experience bad. They're ranch dressing also taste pre made. read more

As much as I love Mason, I needed to try out their other spot! A couple friends and I went to support on a Relay for Life fundraising night. We decided to eat in. Just like Mason, they do have tablets to order on, or you can order at the counter. We ordered the Greek, Harvest bowl, Whole Enchilada, and the Carolina Hog. The food was delicious! The menu consist of bowls and salads. They have some clever names, but all solid selections. I ordered the 53rd&6th bowl - its a homage? to the halal guys chicken and rice. It's pretty good, you can choose the grains (rice, quinoa, cauliflower rice) and the chicken is very flavorful. The dressing is good, but there's way too much of it; next time I'll be sure to note that i want it on the side, but I feel that for a takeout spot that should be the default. Initially I was a bit skeptical for a brand new place to open up right next to the sister store Mason Sandwich; so I proceeded with caution. Upon walking in; The Prince seems to be more set up as a take out spot, though there are some seats by the window. I decided to order the Carolina Hog and Whole Enchilada and was pleasantly surprised. The "whole enchilada" was absolutely delicious and was full of flavor with their own little twist. The Carolina Hog has super flavorful pork with a nice sweet sauce to finish. Overall, both bowls were stellar. Their bowls usually range anywhere from $14-$18 which is pretty decently and comparatively priced compared to other options. I'd say that they definitely filled the niche for bowls in the area. I definitely think their bowls have the most bang for your buck compared to other local spots and the taste is definitely there. To top it off, the staff member working the front is always incredibly kind and welcoming every time I walk in. read more

Really great, clean food. I always come here when I pick up my partner from work. I can always count on these guys for clean, healthy, and filling food that leaves you feeling great. Love these guys! Their first spot next door is The Mason Sandwich Co. also delicious. It's great that they've brought organic, greasy quality foods into their bowls and salads. It's what we need as humans! We got the 53rd + 6th bowl, Caesar salad and the mango pineapple drink. All very good. To me the bowl didn't replicate 53rd with spices/sauce as expected but regardless it was very tasty. Great work fellas! read more

This place is pretty good for what it is. I feel like it's like the perfect go to spot for workout meals. Portions are amazing, you will for sure be full. The menu is what it is, but I hope they can add some variety as future options here. It feels like a pick up spot, it's really not a place you go to sit and eat. 4.5 Strong showing from the folks at Mason Sandwich (conveniently next door if you want those killer chips with your "healthy" lunch). The two share a kitchen so there are very similar flavor profiles in the food at the prince just morphed into bowls and salads. Ordering was easy online and they have tablet stations for ordering in the restaurant. Food was very good with a few things to note. We got the Banh Mi Bowl and the Souvlaki falafel bowl. Banh mi was delicious, and pretty. The turkey meatballs were a little tough- like over compressed when formed. I'd still get it again. Souvlaki had an amazing smoky flavor that we weren't expecting (don't think it's listed in the description) and didn't have the listed tzatziki. The falafel like the meatball was a bit dense but crispy and tasty. Do not skip on the drinks. I will dream of this coconut pineapple juice. Like a work appropriate pina colada. Price was reasonable for quality and amount of food- especially since wife and I were able to make two bowls last lunch and dinner. read more

Eh...not completely thought out. Tried ordering online, but called when we had an issue. Guy answers "ummm hello?!". We were confused as it was if we seemingly called someone's personal phone rather than a restaurant??? Ended up placing an order for delivery. Ordered a crispy chicken salad and chimichurri bowl. The salad came completely sogged down with dressing (why didn't they put it on the side?!). The "crispy chicken" isn't at all crispy (maybe due to the salad being already dressed and soggy). The steak on the chimmichurri bowl is well done (when placing the order, there wasn't an option to select what temperature). We love mason (although they too have ordering issues), we attempted to give the prince a try but ehh. read more

Delicious. We've ordered from The Prince twice now, and tried several hot bowls, including Carolina Hog, Barbacoa, Banh Mi, and 53rd x 6th, and all were very, very good. Each bowl included flavorful braised meats and well-seasoned veggies. The Carolina Hog is especially crave-able. I like having a few options for the base , including brown, white, or cauliflower rice. (We called in our order for take out, and everything went smoothly.) We will be regulars, for sure. read more

After reviewing the menu online I was so excited to try this place out. On our way to JFK. Incredibly delicious! My husband and I shared the chimichurri steak bowl with cauliflower rice. Amazing taste and large portion! We also got the Baja Shrimp salad and were also pleased. It was too much food so my husband enjoyed the salad for lunch today. There was a lot of shrimp in the salad.
