They have some of the best vegetables and fruits, including non-GMO options, and their prices are very affordable. What makes this farm even more special is that it's privately owned, and you can truly feel the care and pride they put into everything they do. The reason I'm writing this review is because of an uncomfortable checkout experience. While we were waiting in line to weigh our strawberries, we noticed the staff member at the scale zeroing out the container for the customers ahead of us so they wouldn't be charged for the basket/box itself. She even explained it out loud, which we thought was considerate. However, when it was our turn, she did not zero out the scale. We didn't say anything at the time and assumed maybe it was an honest mistake. What felt disheartening was that immediately after we paid and stepped aside, she zeroed out the scale again for the customer right behind us. My friends, who are of Hispanic ancestry, felt very uncomfortable and singled out by the interaction. I don't want to accuse anyone of racism or say this was intentional, because I don't know that. But I do think it's worth sharing because these kinds of small differences in treatment can really affect how people feel in a space. Our overall experience was okay, but that checkout interaction left a bad impression.

We used Google Maps and it defaulted us to what appeared to be the prepicked strawberries and berries concession. I had to look back on the Instagram page to figure out where the actual plot of land was designated the U-Pick for the day. That was a bit frustrating because it was a video of a screenshot of where to go. No actual address to plug into the map, not even coordinates. The strawberries are $4.15/lb, which is fairly priced. The strawberries that we were picking in our designated row were very small; some were over ripped as well. We didn't stay too long, maybe 30 minutes or so. Our total was $9.50, so a little over two pounds.

I got some french macarons and lemon squares in addition to the other bakery items and I even found some soda flavored popcorn. It was... Interesting. It's always fun to try something new! They also had a gorgeous flower selection and a nice seating area inside. If that wasn't enough, they even have private outdoor dining domes where visitors can sit and eat. (I snapped a photo of them on the side of the building as we were leaving.) So, when you do stop here to try out some of the delicious baked goods, you'll have a nice place to sit and enjoy the experience. This is definitely a spot worth checking out and supporting and if I lived closer I would visit often.
