The Best Farm Ever!…read more If you're looking for fresh, delicious, natural produce at great prices, this is the place to go! They have some of the best vegetables and fruits, including non-GMO options, and their prices are very affordable. What makes this farm even more special is that it's privately owned, and you can truly feel the care and pride they put into everything they do. The staff is absolutely wonderful--friendly, helpful, and always welcoming. They have a wonderful market with fresh produce, plants, seeds, and everything you need for canning and preserving. There is such a great variety of natural products that you can find something for just about everyone. I highly recommend giving this wonderful farm a try if you love fresh fruits and vegetables, gardening, canning, and natural products. Supporting a local, family-owned business that cares about its customers is something I'm always happy to do. You have earned FIVE STARS from That Review Lady on Yelp! Thank you for caring about your customers and your community. We love you!

This farm has maintained its charm through years/decades. The farm stand feels homey and "farmy"…read more(not like the more upscale, enclosed building with an A/C model, gentrified/commercialized), which is amusing because this is a BIG commercial operation with its own fleet of semi-trucks. But still a good place to buy produce and plants, with unique and plentiful offerings, some grown here like black, white, and red currants and rotating seasonal unique berries (tayberry, gooseberry, marionberries, etc), and the "normal" berries you expect, as well as several other produce items grown here and a decent selection of produce not grown here. Probably my favorite Puyallup farm market.

My family and I have been waiting for Pica to open and go there for over 15 years. We travel farter…read morebecause they are locally owned The main reason is that they are THE BEST TASTING STRAWBERIES THAT WE HAVE HAD NEVER TOO RIPE BUT ALWAYS JUST RIPE. We buy them for ourselves and our neighbors. Lot of of pies and of berries and whipped cream or ice cream or cookies. The best.

We came to Picha Farms for U-pick strawberries with a couple of friends. The actual picking…read moreexperience was okay. The field was small and the strawberries were on the smaller side, but that was expected and similar to other farms we've visited before. The reason I'm writing this review is because of an uncomfortable checkout experience. While we were waiting in line to weigh our strawberries, we noticed the staff member at the scale zeroing out the container for the customers ahead of us so they wouldn't be charged for the basket/box itself. She even explained it out loud, which we thought was considerate. However, when it was our turn, she did not zero out the scale. We didn't say anything at the time and assumed maybe it was an honest mistake. What felt disheartening was that immediately after we paid and stepped aside, she zeroed out the scale again for the customer right behind us. My friends, who are of Hispanic ancestry, felt very uncomfortable and singled out by the interaction. I don't want to accuse anyone of racism or say this was intentional, because I don't know that. But I do think it's worth sharing because these kinds of small differences in treatment can really affect how people feel in a space. Our overall experience was okay, but that checkout interaction left a bad impression.
