    Gigo's trio!

Gigo's has a special place in my belly. If you like Jamaican food that not only pays homeage, but also truly reflects what the foor truck culture is all about, say less... the family are great locals that throw down mamas style cooking. If you're looking for perfectly clean packing, macro counting, special order no gmo, gluten free, low fat, no cabs and all that jazz, maybe this ain't the one for you. BUT if you like to get down and dirty, filled to where you have to unbutton that top button of your pants, and searching for more napkins amazingness; bring it on! I LOVE their Cajun pasta and could go way overboard on their oxtail. Honestly just try it all over time. You won't be disappointed

This is the most authentic Jamaican cuisine found in Toccoma. This restaurant/food truck will deliver satisfaction in every bite.

My family and I have been waiting for Pica to open and go there for over 15 years. We travel farter…read morebecause they are locally owned The main reason is that they are THE BEST TASTING STRAWBERIES THAT WE HAVE HAD NEVER TOO RIPE BUT ALWAYS JUST RIPE. We buy them for ourselves and our neighbors. Lot of of pies and of berries and whipped cream or ice cream or cookies. The best.

The field was small and the strawberries were on the smaller side, but that was expected and similar to other farms we've visited before. The reason I'm writing this review is because of an uncomfortable checkout experience. While we were waiting in line to weigh our strawberries, we noticed the staff member at the scale zeroing out the container for the customers ahead of us so they wouldn't be charged for the basket/box itself. She even explained it out loud, which we thought was considerate. However, when it was our turn, she did not zero out the scale. We didn't say anything at the time and assumed maybe it was an honest mistake. What felt disheartening was that immediately after we paid and stepped aside, she zeroed out the scale again for the customer right behind us. My friends, who are of Hispanic ancestry, felt very uncomfortable and singled out by the interaction. I don't want to accuse anyone of racism or say this was intentional, because I don't know that. But I do think it's worth sharing because these kinds of small differences in treatment can really affect how people feel in a space. Our overall experience was okay, but that checkout interaction left a bad impression.

I only go here for THE COOKIE and the hot bar! It's enough to give it my 5 star rating. The quality…read moreof the hot bar/ salad bar and food made to order is outstanding. The store is vibrant and inviting. Before you even enter, you are welcomed by a color array of flowers and fruits. It makes me happy. Kind of like walking into Trader Joe's! Have you seen the WF hot bar? So sad compared to this one. I've had the poke bowls, pork sandwich, Okonomiyaki and of course the ooey gooey Cookie. You've got to try it for yourself. It wasn't too busy midday on a Monday to go browsing around inside. The parking lot was easy to enter and exit without any issues. It's a bit small, but it's doable. Stopped by the cafe inside the market and ordered an Iced Lavender Matcha and the famous chocolate chip cookie 'The Cookie'. The Iced Lavender Matcha was good. However, it was VERY SWEET. You could definitely taste the lavender syrup that they used in the drink. The lavender flavor overpowered whatever amount of matcha was in the drink. The Cookie was great! Love eating them warm!
