I saw Dr. Wera for my hands and wrists. He was nice and professional. Not the most compassionate…read moredoctor I've ever seen, but he was very informative and honest with me. I have such severe arthritis from autoimmune disease and too many past injuries from sports that there is no quick fix or surgery that can help me at all. I only give 4 stars because it irritates me how I was there for hours and didn't get called back until thirty minutes past my appointment time after showing up 30 minutes early. Some of that is understandable if the reasoning is taking time with patients that need it and not overbooking appointments. I did think maybe there would be some type of injection to help my wrist pain but that was never discussed. Other reason I took a star off was because the person that came in, a young man I won't name, to give me my wrist braces appeared to be either really sick or hopefully having some type of severe allergy attack. He kept wiping his runny nose with his hand and touching the wrist brace and my hand

I did this on a weekend so I purchased splints from Amazon. I got a referral from St Elizabeth physicians and saw Dr. B. He said there's nothing I can do for you and I still have crooked fingers to this day. He has zero bedside manner. He's just awful.

Kremchek Timothy E MD - They put you in physical therapy less than 24 hours after surgery. That black thing is ice. 10/10 recommend the ice machine every time.

He's an excellent doctor. However, he's not the type to really shoot the breeze with you, so if you…read morehave questions, be sure to bring them up as soon as he walks in. He's incredibly thorough and the trainers/assistants around the office are also wonderful - they're all beautiful, which was startling but aspirational. We were told they were running 40 minutes behind, but ended up waiting 2 hours, which wasn't ideal. It was also the day before Thanksgiving though, so I sort of get it. Overall, I had a pretty good pre-op experience. However, when my sister came here 3 years ago for ACL reconstruction, she never regained feeling in the front of her shin. When she called about it, they said it probably wasn't their fault. I can recommend Beacon and Kremchek for any sports-related injury, but my sister wouldn't say the same. So take that for whatever it's worth. UPDATE: I'm a month out from surgery and I have healed remarkably quickly thanks to the stud Physical Therapy team. So, I dropped the score for Kremchek not the entirety of the team. Beacon as an organization has been wonderful, but I've been continually unimpressed with Kremchek as a person/doctor. The appointment I had remove my brace (read: leg cage) was on the calendar for a month, but I got a call a few days beforehand that said it had to be moved due to Reds spring training or something. I was going to have to wait another week or two to get my brace taken off, even though my healing progressed well enough to remove it. I had to ask to be seen by another doc because this brace is the PITS and I want it off ASAP. So I am seeing Valezquez. It's just obvious that Kremchek prioritizes his celebrity (well, it's the Reds, so maybe that's not the right word) clients over average people.

Called with serious neck pain and Dr. Rohmiller was booked solid. I was given an appt with Dr. Sowers but saw his PA Michael Browning. I am scheduled for an Ablation on NOV4 and have to wait that long because of insurance and the space of the the one I had previously. MIchael suggested a steroid pack to give me immediate relief and before I even got home, there was a message from Walgreens that I could pick up the script. He said we could also possibly fit in an Epidural if I thought it was necessary. We had to get this handled quickly as I am having shoulder replacement on NOV 7. He listened patiently and explained the xray and was very concerned about getting me some immediate relief. It was a pleasant experience to be listened to and not feel rushed. Michael Browning you are a real asset to Beacon; and thank you. Barb Sogar Their office staff is the best also. Always friendly and helpful
