This place is a hidden gem. Located in a strip mall, it's not big. Inside, it is bright and clean. There is a counter, and a takeout order kiosk, but for dinner in, there is table service. There are lots of Asian touches, like the mural of Mount Fuji with cherry blossoms. The menu has seen several kinds of ramen as well as several kinds of hibachi meals and side dishes. It was absolutely delicious, although someone at the table next to us got the hibachi chicken and it smelled and looked soooo good. We also got some gyoza, which was also super yummy. Our server was great. For a while, he was the only one, so he was running hard, but still was attentive and organized. This place is great. We are going back next weekend to try the hibachi. Wanted some ramen and searched around Yelp and decided to try this one. Nice little cozy place, friendly staff and kind of funny name for ramen place. Looking at the menu for some reason I had a feeling ramen was not going to fill me up so I decided to order appetizer. Ordered Geso Yaki (fried squid legs) and gal recommended Tantan ramen if I I like spicy. Geso Yaki came and looked pretty good with some side sweet dipping sauce. It's not really just squid legs had other parts of squid which I didn't mind. It tasted pretty good with slight crisp to it.. Batter had some seasoning which made it tastier. Then my ramen came.. Looked pretty good but portion looked small. But then again for costing $14 can't complain. Broth was nice and hearty and I couldn't quite figure out the flavor. Then I read the description and it said sesame.. Then it made little more sense of the flavor. I definitely would not call it spicy. Ramen noodle was nice and chewy just the way I like it.. Only thing I didnt like was the pork. It was not bad but I prefer the fatty melt in your mouth kind with my ramen. Over all the food was pretty darn good and price was on point. This is an all-around solid location for ramen. I give it four stars because the broth, noodles, and toppings weren't the best of what I've tried compared to other locations but they were all decent making a well-rounded ramen bowl. They are also quite reasonably priced for the portion, which I appreciate. I did really enjoy their takoyaki, I really like the crunchier outer layer and the chunks of octopus, the sauces were spot on. As someone who had many takoyaki in Japan, I would order this dish from here again. Also kudos to their iced fruit tea, I was expecting something subtle tasting like flavored water but it was nice and strong and sweet like honey tea. At time of writing, it's complementary with lunch! Lastly, they have a bumping playlist :) It's a great spot to go to, we came here before heading to the nearby movie theater. I hate these 3 star posts I really do, but there I am. For the record I'm still searching for amazing ramen in the Phoenix valley. I have been striking out. This place was on the way home and had 4.6 stars so we said let's try it! We called in our order and the employee in the phone was very nice. I ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen, we also ordered some steamed dumplings for the kids. The restaurant is in a strip mall and when I walked In it was very clean, modern, and had a lot of people in it. As I walked to the front the food looked good. I was excited. The Togo order was packaged well, and was still very hot by the time we got home. I opened up the ramen and this is when red flags started to go up. I have no idea why local area ramen places do not use RAMEN NOODLES!! They can call these "straight ramen noodles" but in reality this is thin spaghetti noodles. These noodles were soggy, no chew, no flavor, just straight up Italian pasta noodles. So so disappointing. Even an instant ramen noodle would be a 100000% improvement over these, but no, we get this. The broth was ok, wasn't great. It was thin and watery with no viscosity. Didn't coat the noodles and just sat at the bottom of the bowl. It was salty and had a little pork flavor but nothing amazing. I couldn't tell you if it was an instant broth or if it was homemade, but it was lacking. The Chasu was actually pretty good, it was fatty, lightly crisp, but moist on the inside, and had good flavor, it had a slight five spice flavor which was nice but unexpected. The egg was pretty good as well. Overall I will be passing this place without stopping which is sad. The hunt continues for an amazing ramen spot that uses actual ramen noodles ‍ read more

The quality of the food was disappointing. The meat and shrimp were overcooked, which made all of the proteins very dry.

We have been getting takeout from here since it opened and the food is spot on quality and consistent. We have had the hibachi dinners and the chicken chow mein and fried rice and it's such a good value for what you receive. I used to not like a lot of Chinese takeout because I found it to be greasy but this is definitely not. Food is fresh and healthy and you feel that they really care about their craft. Great little Raman restaurant, they have Raman, boba, chow ming, fried rice and hamachi dishes. They have pretty good Raman,l for the price, a lot of them are about 13$ which is pretty cheap. I was craving ramen and looked up "best ramen near me". Chow's was one of the recommend restaurants. I decided to try this place and I am glad I did. I went with my son and we both enjoyed this restaurant. As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a smile and seated right away. Our server was friendly and attentive. I ordered a jasmine tea. Our server asked if I wanted it sweet or unsweetened. When I asked how sweet the tea is, because I don't like super sweet tea, she offered to do 1/2 and 1/2. She made sure I was happy with it when I tasted it. The tea was perfect and delicious. I ordered shrimp tempura for my appetizer and my son ordered takoyaki. We both enjoyed our appetizers. I ordered the tonkotsu ramen and my son ordered the katsu ramen. My ramen was amazing! The broth was savory and rich. One of the best ramen I've ever had. My son enjoyed his ramen and also said it was one of the best he's had. If you want amazing ramen and amazing service you have to try Chow's. I cannot wait to go back to try more dishes. Chow's Ramen and Hibachi was an amazing experience to celebrate the Lunar New Year. When we walked in, we were able to get a seat with no issue. We were given a menu and a lot of time to decide. We ordered two servings of fried chicken wings and one serving of fried tofu. For noodles, we ordered Chicken Chow Mein and for ramen, we ordered Katsu ramen and Tantan ramen( vegetarian style: no pork broth, no pork, and replaced with vegetarian alternatives) and top it all down with 3 strawberry ramunes. The wait time was not long. We got fried tofu first and it was really good and was served pretty hot. Afterwards, we got our fried chicken and our meals all together. The Katsu ramen was super delicious. The fried chicken was super crispy and savory in the broth and as I kept eating the ramen, all the flavors and textures just all came together to make such a satisfying meal. My partner and sister enjoyed their meals so much that it made their day for the rest of the night. Another thing we really appreciated about this place was our waitress. She was very sweet and kind and made sure we enjoyed our meal and didn't suffer any issues. She was understanding and made sure everything ran smoothly when we ordered food. While the name gives the impression of a Chinese/japanese fusion, the menu of Chow's ramen is authentically Japanese through and through. It has all the different ramen broths you would expect to have, and a plethora of Japanese appetizers like Takoyaki and fried ika. The Takoyaki was quite tasty but the fried ika was a little off and not quite as tasty as others I've had. I also wish it had a lemon (as is traditionally served) to brighten it up. This ultimately sum up the ramen experience too. Toppings were great and the noodles were good. However the broth didn't quite hit all the right notes for a ramen. I am sooo happy to have taken a chance on chow's and have even brought food home more than once. To me, this has been the closest to Chinese food from back home(NY). I ordered the Chow's Special Ramen. It was pretty good. I think the broth could have been a bit richer and definitely hotter. It was only lukewarm when it came out. The ingredients in the bowl would have been much better if they were in almost boiling broth, rather than warm. The ingredients did seem very fresh, however. I really enjoyed the real chopsticks (versus the disposable ones). The waitress was very friendly. The whole place, including the bathroom, was spotless.
