They advertied an engine in the same automobile I have with good price on it. I drove 60 miles to check it out. They bring out an engine from a different automobile that will not work. The sales clerk said they use the internet to check compatible. I said I use the same information too. I ask the sales agent about the engine and pictured car they advertise and he began telling me about how many engines they sell. Classic bate and switch. They made a point to say it was as is. Bought a used headlight and made a mistake that I openly admitted and got told no refunds. After talking to them they offered me a refund minus shipping and 20% off the refund. I have no problem paying for shipping, but the 20% is just poor customer service and that means I will never call them again for any single part. I never said they sent the wrong part or blamed them. But service charges are just a way to get free money, so be very careful of these people. read more

I got a quote over the phone for a part and when I drove 45 minutes away to pick it up they made me wait outside in 30° weather and wouldn't let me stay in the building while they took hours to get my part and they tried to go up on the price from what they quoted me originally. Not very friendly service, in fact rude and disrespectful. They asked me to pre-pay with cash before they would pull the quarter panel off and after they pulled it off, they cut a section of it off because they didn't think they could unbolt it. I had to plead with them to give me the other piece. I barely convinced them. They said if I could take it off myself I can have it. It took me 30 seconds to unbolt 2 bolts. That piece was very essential to bolt on to the bed and hold my tail light in so I had to weld it back on an order to use it. Since I prepaid, they wouldn't give me a refund even though they damaged a perfect part. read more

We have dealt with Chris Auto Salvage for years with good luck-however we purchased a $2000 engine from them that ran for a WHOLE HOT 4 WEEKS! They would not warranty the engine nor exchange it for another-only wanted to give a "discount" IF they could find another one. Said we were past the warranty time and they could not help us. I'm so incredibly disappointed with the way this was handled and the lack of. Wish this would have been different but they did not want to make it right----stay clear of this business-unless you want to just give your money away! read more

Read my review Chris if you don't understand it. I was told the damage wasn't visible and wouldn't require body work and drove 110 miles to pick up the fender based on this. The rolled edge of the fender was squared off at the crease and would clearly be visible with fender installed and the hood closed. I pointed this out and both of your guys wouldn't respond. read more

My first experience with them have been a positive one. Living in CA, I needed a hard to find OEM part for a car that our mechanic already replaced several times leaving us financially burdened by it. New OEM replacement was just too expensive, but they had what I needed and gave me a better deal than other places online I looked at. They were also quick to answer emails and shipping was fast. I received it 3 days later expecting it be much longer than that. This company shipped a gas tank to me for AGrade Auto and it was completely worthless. The tank was full of rust so someone tried to clean out the tank. While doing so the broke the box off the bottom of the tank. Then Agrade continued to dispute so I was forced to pay to ship the tank back. What a rip off. read more
