The complaint is that he worked on our motorhome and said it was fixed. We went to pick it up and everything he worked on did not work. We made the mistake of paying him before we even saw the vehicle. It appeared that he was very anxious to take our money before we even knew where the vehicle was. He would not refund our money and promised that he would fix everything. Several weeks passed, they called and said everything was ready to go and that everything on the list worked. We found when we got there that he had added more to the price and things still did not work. We left it for another month. They finally called and said it was ready and that everything was fixed. We got there and the price had changed again and it still did not work. So we left again and waited several more weeks. They called again and said it was ready. When we got there he wasn't there and the price had changed once more. Half of the things still did not work. We could not get a refund for the items not fixed. He would not give us the keys until we paid more money. He told us then that we didn't know what we were talking about and that in Texas the auto mechanic can do anything they want and you have no recourse. We were forced to leave and leave our motorhome there. He said he had a lawyer on standby at all times. We were told to take the mo9torhome and not bother him anymore and pay him more money. At this time he has the motorhome and will not give us any of our money back unless we give him more money. We started all of this so it would be fixed and we could sell it because we are elderly, living on social security only and we needed the money. I had a leveling jack and other problems with my new 2018 mobile home. After contacting RV Shops in Nebraska, Minnesota and Iowa which were recommended by my warranty center, I was told by these repair shop managers that they were back-logged with appointments for the next three to four months. Therefore, I initialed my own computer search for a repair shops that could address my repair needs within the month of July, and came across Revolution RV Service, 5300 US-67, Bldg. 6, Alvarado, TX. After talking to the owner, Corey Ebert, who assured me that he had an opening for July 24th and could address my jack and other repair issues if I could bring my mobile home to his shop. After making a 12-hour drive from Sioux Falls SD. I arrived in Alvarado TX on July 23 and stayed at a nearby RV campground. On July 24th, I was greeted by Terry, an employee, who informed me Corey would arrive shortly. So, Terry escorted me to Corey's office to wait. When Corey arrived, I provided him with a laundry list of problems I was having with my 2018 mobile home which he claimed during our telephone conversation and now in his office - that he could fix stating, "Since I must ship your jack to the manufacture, it might take a while before I get a replacement jack back. Meanwhile, I will begin work on issues I can address and repair now. I'll try not to keep your mobile home long since you will have to stay in a hotel. Do you have a preferred hotel?" No. A nearby hotel/motel will be fine, I replied. His driver dropped me off at Motel 6 where a remained from July 24 to July 28th. Corey asked, where did you stay last night? "At the RV campground that is 0.3 miles from your business, I replied." Those people are racist! You shouldn't stay there. Based on the fact, I am white. I am sure you find my statement is strange. However, since I work at that campground repairing mobile homes for seniors, I know they're racist. In the meantime, there are better rv campgrounds you can stay at in nearby towns; he named a few of these campgrounds. Then he asked, "Do you know where you are?" Meaning what, I replied. Alvarado is the bible belt of TX. Okay, that's probably a good thing, I said. "No. These white folks love their bibles and the lord; but not minorities!" Anyway, I'll contact your Thor Manufacture; give them your vehicle VIN and inform them that I'll be shipping a faulty leveling jack to them which needs to be replaced by a new jack. When Terry retrieved me from the hotel and returned me to my mobile home. I asked Corey, what is the status regarding the replacement jacks? "I shipped your faulty jack to the manufacture and talked with an employee, I think I can work with to get a new replacement jack and have it installed as quick as possible. However, my contact said, "I can't just send a new replacement jack just because you request one. We need to test the jack you shipped to determine why it failed." As a result, I stayed at Mockingbird Hill RV Park, 1990 S Burleson Boulevard #20, Burleson, TX 76028 for a week. This was one of the rv campgrounds Corey recommended. While waiting for the new jack to be received and a phone call from Corey requesting, I return to have it installed; I stayed at different Bureau of Land Management (BLM) campgrounds from July 24 to October 7th. During this time, I constantly called Corey to check the status of my replacement jack. But he kept telling the same lie. "The warehouse is still checking the jack to determine why it failed." After contacting my warranty center manager on October 7th. He accessed and reviewed my vehicle's VIN activity record and informed me, "There is no record that your jack was ever shipped or received in our warehouse for repair or replacement." On October 10th - my 6' 9" 310-pound friend and I showed up unannounced at Corey's shop to demand the return of my jack or information regarding its location. The surprised expression on Terry's face, an employer at Corey's shop was priceless. However, he recovered quickly to inform us Corey wasn't there. "Where is her leveling jack?" My friend asked. Oh, it's here in the shop because a manufacture manager told us not to ship the jack to them", he replied. My friend and I were appalled to hear my jack had been sitting in Corey's dinky little shop for 3 1/2 months, because prior to meeting me he thought I was Caucasian which is a normal occurrence for me. Therefore, Corey resented the fact that a minority female woman was driving a brand new, 30-foot mobile home; alone in his city. In conclusion: I discovered the many rv' s crowded on Corey's small parking lot are rentals. But are parked there to make Revolution RV Service appear to be a busy rv repair shop. Further, I found Corey Ebert, the owner of Revolution RV Service to be a charismatic liar, an unscrupulous business owner and the same as the many bible belt people he talks about. I recommend minorities and other decent citizens, seek repair services at other rv repair shops. read more
