Excellent wine! I've tried a variety of different kinds and they are all wonderful. The owners are very knowledgeable and friendly. I've also gone to an event held close to home here in Pittsburgh. They had samples with light appetizers. Highly recommended if you get a chance to attend any! They also ship so you can enjoy it anytime

Great views from the tasting room/patio

Extremely knowledgeable and friendly to all visitors. Beautiful views all around the property. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a delicious wine tasting experience! Definitely worth the drive out!

Wonderful wines, beautiful view and top notch staff. We absolutely LOVE this place. We highly recommend making the trip to enjoy this experience.

We stayed here via Harvest Hosts in October 2020. Just an absolutely fantastic location, and Beth is such a wonderful host. We enjoyed the property, the isolation and spent some time in the tasting patio, as well. Could not recommend it more!

Everything was meticulously prepared, delicious and just the perfect amount of filling without overly stuffing ourselves. We ordered: - $38, Three Fish don: salmon, tuna, hamachi over rice and it comes with miso soup & 3 small appetizer bites (ours was: Kobucha, edamame, pickles) - $40, chirashi b that comes in stacked bowls with sashimi and unagi, tamago egg, and a couple sashimi on top of rice with miso soup & 3 small appetizer bites - $39, Murata's selected dinner, 2 entree combination, where you can choose from cooked fish, sushi, sashimi, fried dishes. I ended up picking sushi & sashimi (I remember about couple years ago when it used to be $29.50, but I know ingredient costs have gone up)

The service was wonderful--the staff were mostly Japanese and very kind--and the portions for the dinner sets were generous for the price. However, the quality of the sushi felt like a standard neighborhood spot. The fish appeared to be pre-cut and frozen rather than freshly broken down in the kitchen. The biggest disappointment was the Hokkaido Uni. At $40 for two pieces ($20 each), I expected top-notch quality, but it sadly lacked freshness. The tempura was ordinary as well, though the complimentary amuse-bouche (tofu, broccoli, and asparagus) was surprisingly delicious. It's a decent spot if you want a high-value, casual sushi dinner, but since I prioritize the freshness of the fish, I don't think I'll be back.

TL;DR Delicious, Umami filled sushi with special respect to the craft…read more Where to begin with this sushi restaurant? With a combined 115 years of experience this restaurant shines with what feels like authentic sushi. We were there with a group of four and were seated promptly for our reservation at 5:45 PM. Our server Ben was an absolute delight and brought vibrancy and genuineness to his service. So shoutout to Ben. I was a bit disappointed that they were unable to accommodate my Tokyo Tea request for a cocktail (I'm always about efficiency when drinking ) but the cocktails that we did receive were elegant and refreshing. But now to the meat of the review or should I say fish? We were taken on a journey through the Toyosu fish market or so I'm and had several delicious rolls such as the Yama roll, Salmon and Scallop, Jamison and the simple California roll. We also had two of the nigiri the salmon belly and the unagi which were both fall apart tender deliciousness in your mouth. Needless to say I am looking forward to our next visit and would love to experience their version of an omakase since the quality was there.

We had a very different experience with Momoyama this time, and unfortunately it was disappointing…read more We previously dined at Momoyama and thought the food was excellent -- beautiful presentation, high-quality sushi, and a gorgeous setting in the Pearl District. Service was average, but the food more than made up for it. Because of that first experience, we decided to place a fairly large takeout order for a family dinner last night. Big mistake. We were told the order would be ready in 30 minutes. We arrived on time only to discover they had not even started preparing it yet. The explanation was "a computer issue," but nobody called us to let us know there would be a delay, and no real apology was offered. By the time we finally got the food, we were already late for dinner and had to head straight home. When we opened the bag, the nigiri had been packed so poorly that everything was jumbled together in a heap. We literally spent 10 minutes trying to reassemble the sushi ourselves. What disappointed us most was the way management handled the situation afterward. We called expecting that a restaurant positioning itself as upscale would want to make things right. Instead, the manager argued with us, reviewed security footage, and claimed that because we briefly checked the bag at pickup, the order must have been fine when it left the restaurant. We checked that the boxes were there -- we did not open every container because we trusted the restaurant to package the food properly. The bottom line: the dine-in experience may still be worth it because the food itself is genuinely very good, but based on our experience, order takeout at your own risk.

We came after the Xmas bonanza week and they were out of a few things we wanted to try. Even though they were minor bummers, the person helping us was extremely apologetic and provided great service. We probably ordered too much, because the table felt really small. All of the dishes were beautifully presented and they were all delicious. The ambiance itself was semi dark, there was a lot of hustle and bustle, but still quiet enough you can have a conversation. Spicy edamame - Feisty edamame. Why eat boring edamame with you can have some spice with it! Spicy salmon tartare - tempura nori that was fried like a chip, topped with salmon tartare on one side and avocado/cilantro crema on the other. I had to mix it together before eating it, the avo/cilantro side was too rich on its own. 7 spiced calamari - Out :( Ceviche + taro chips - Out of taro chips, we were offered rice instead of chips so we cancelled the order. Chicken Karaage - Fried chicken, no complaints. Fresh wasabi - Out, but my we got to sample a little nugget of it. Spicy tuna crispy rice - YUMMMMMM. We almost ordered this one and the salmon one. Luckily we didn't because an order has 6 pieces. Crispy flavor bomb though, do it. Steak tataki - yum. I remembered liking it, but it wasn't out of this world. Chopped salad - I missed the part it has iceberg lettuce. I was disappointed. In a world of romaine or any other leafy green, why does iceberg lettuce exist on a menu?! Never again. The unicorn - DELICIOUS. This has spicy crab, shrimp tempura, albacore, avocado, jalapeno dressing, gochugaru oil, micro cilantro. So flavorful. Rainbow - Yum. Good classic roll. Haupia pie - out Black sesame brownie - out Ginger pot de creme - I wasn't a fan.. it was chewy mush. The charred orange segment was bland/tasteless. It didn't have the citrus tang the dessert needed. Crystalized ginger was chewy as expected, macadamia nuts are pretty soft as far as nuts go, and the creme. I felt like a different nut would have added better texture. So disappointed our choice desserts were out. We got this as a birthday dessert, so we appreciated that! Overall we had a nice birthday dinner and will likely be back for some of those stand out items we had and try some of the ones we didn't get to!

Is it wrong to love an office building? Well, I don't really care about your judgments anyway…read more I've worked at four different jobs in the 'Black Box' and let me tell you, my office building can kick your office building's ass. For one thing, this place has the most phenomenal building staff I've ever seen. Everybody from the security folks to the guy who vaccums the driveway and mops the parking garage (you read that right) are super friendly and strangely driven to make tenants happy. Despite being built in the 70's and being cloaked entirely in black glass, 200 Market has won all kinds of awards for sustainable building design and practices (mostly because of extensive retrofitting done in the 90s). It has aggressive recycling programs and it's own little co-generation facility next to the parking garage Yeah, take THAT Wells Fargo Tower! Now there's a Flexcar hybrid in the garage but they used to have a little electric two-seater that tenants could borrow to run errands! Can you match that, Umpqua Bank Building? I don't think so. So the lobby cafe has had its ups and downs, down on the plaza out front (where there are free lunchtime concerts every Wednesday in the Summer) we have Carafe and Murata, two of the best French and Japanese venues around these parts, respectively. And even if your lame-o office building could manage all that, which it can't, 200 Market has two grass BOCCE COURTS on the second floor and a September building-wide tournament that completely eliminates all productivity for an entire week. So yeah, I do love my office building. I don't care who knows it. I'd shout it from the roof but they won't let me up there.

Quick Summary - Ordered via the kiosk…read more- Tables and chairs inside - Received a cute packet that contains chopsticks, a wet napkin, etc. - Recommend the original tuna (raw) - Located along the grassy parkway A light disclaimer is that I had this during the summer of 2024. We visited here in a summer evening, and it was also the hottest day of the time I visited Portland. My appetite was drained from the summer heat, so we wanted to eat something is refreshing and will cool us down. Out of the options, poke fit with our requirements; additionally, it was close within walking distance from the place we resided, so we didn't need to walk in the baking streets. There was a kiosk machine near the entrance, so we ordered our food from it. We all chose tuna as the main protein, but mine I kept as raw and my relatives chose the charred option. The dishes arrived at the same time and they also came with this cute beefy chopsticks packet. Unlike the typical chopsticks bag, this one contained a lot of goodies, including the wet napkin. This was nice. I enjoyed the poke from this restaurant because one, I can make it as simple as I want. This seems like a weird praise, but when you are in the Bay Area, their poke theme is stuffed with vegetables and other toppings, which I don't need. This eventually pushes the fish protein to the back, overall hiding the fish's flavor. Here, the poke was simple, where the main focus is the bright, red tuna and the toppings are lighter, sesame, seaweed, and pickled vegetables. For my record, the tuna tasted better as raw; my relatives mentioned that the charred made the tuna sweeter. I also felt the portions were just right for the moment, when the summer heat prevents me from eating more.
