I became very ill and spent years going to all kinds of doctors, none of them helped me or diagnosed me. I was told I was depressed and nothing was wrong. But I had developed asthma, high blood pressure, heart palpitations, extreme fatigue and brain fog, migraines, a brutal non stop sinus infection, and the list goes on. It was only Dr Farahnik that acknowledged my symptoms, and started me on a mold detox protocol. Sinus infection is gone, no more migraines, etc! I am a million times better now. It takes a long time to recover, and if I never found Dr Farahnik, I would be extremely debilitated. He is so kind, smart, uplifting, and awesome. He gives you hope and knowledge and the path to regaining your health!

She is truly a God-sent naturopathic doctor who transformed my menopausal journey. Before seeing her, I was struggling with fatigue, mood changes, joint aches, anxiety, weight shifts, sleep issues -- all the symptoms that make you feel disconnected from your own body. Dr. Gerber took the time to listen, to test, and to truly understand what my body needed. She placed me on bioidentical hormone therapy, personalized to me, and it has completely changed my life. My energy returned, my sleep improved, my mood stabilized, and for the first time in years, I feel like myself again. I owe so much of my well-being to her care. She is knowledgeable, patient, compassionate, and deeply committed to her patients' health. If you're a woman navigating perimenopause or menopause and you're seeking real, sustainable relief -- Dr. Gerber is the doctor you want by your side. I am so grateful for her expertise and support. Highly, highly recommend.

She also saw my sister and my brother's wife during her pregnancy and birth of their child. I'm mainly writing a review of her quality of care of myself and my sister when she started seeing Michelle. I never found her treatment of my condition very helpful or well informed, although she considers herself a functional or naturopathic medicine practitioner. I was not helped by her articulate, seemingly super-competent but ultimately useless assessment of both my health and the treatments and supplements she prescribed; years later I found a much better option for myself and I think back to all the time that I felt both unseen and dismissed by her for personal reasons (or maybe she treats everyone like that?) but I didn't trust her because of it. She has the emotionless quality of someone on the spectrum. I thought her treatment of my sister was overpriced and totally absurd since it required excruciating treatment of a gynecological nature and I don't think she or most western doctors have a clue about how the human body actually works. In the end, her staff also didn't bother to inform us that her office had moved and we went to the old location and waited only to find out they weren't there. I didn't bother returning. She has a practice full of pregnant or looking to get pregnant women who think she's got her finger on the pulse of alternative medicine and protocols but to my view it is basically straight western medicine with a lady meting out the same punishments of women's bodies. Not a fan and don't recommend.

I consistently drive an hour and a half each way to see her... Yes, Emma is a craniosacral therapist by training, but what she offers transcends modalities. Her touch is unreal intuitive, precise, and attuned. (I can't get anything past her!) In every session, I feel completely met--emotionally, physically, energetically. Her presence is unwavering. I've brought her my most fragile, disorienting moments--experiences I was previously sure I could never say out loud--and she has met each one with a kind of grounded grace that has made me feel not only safe but free. Emma does not flinch. She has an incredible way with words. I've been doing incredibly difficult memory recovery work, and there have been moments where I truly didn't know how I'd keep going. Emma has been a steady and consistent lifeline. Through our work, I've come back into my body (and life!) in ways I didn't know were possible. I've felt things shift in me--physically, emotionally, neurologically--that I never could have accessed through words alone. Emma books far in advance, and with good reason. She is the kind of practitioner people quietly build their lives around. I will reschedule anything I can when she has time. I hope I get to know her for a very long time. If you're lucky enough to find your way to Emma, take it. As the other reviews already say, she is the best.

I am deeply grateful to Dr. James Choi. After seeing many traditional Chinese medicine and…read moreacupuncture doctors, I can honestly say that Dr. Choi is different in the best possible way. Many clinics today can feel rushed and volume-driven. You often feel like the doctor is trying to see as many patients as possible, and each appointment becomes very quick and mechanical. With Dr. Choi, I never felt that way. He spends real time with his patients, listens carefully, asks detailed questions, and genuinely tries to understand what is happening in the body. You can feel that he deeply cares about the person in front of him, not just the appointment. What impressed me most is his combination of integrity, experience, and skill. He has more than 40 years of clinical experience, but he still treats each patient with patience and seriousness. He does not use a one-size-fits-all approach. He uses a Korean Four-Constitution / Sasang constitutional approach, and he also carefully studies the fingerprint patterns of all ten fingers as part of understanding a patient's individual constitution. From what I have researched, this approach is very special because it looks at the whole person, not just one symptom. A person with a "cold" constitution may need a very different treatment approach from someone with a "hot" constitution, and a yin-type body may respond differently from a yang-type body. Dr. Choi understands these differences and adjusts his treatment with great precision. My own experience has been very meaningful. I had numbness around one side of my mouth for about two years. After my first acupuncture treatment with Dr. Choi, I felt about 80% improvement. That result gave me a lot of hope. Since then, I have continued to feel that his treatment is not only based on strong technique, but also on a sincere desire to help the patient get better. I now drive almost two hours each way to see him, nearly four hours round trip. Even with that long drive, I still feel it is worth it, because it is very rare to meet a doctor who has both excellent medical skill and a truly caring heart. Dr. Choi represents what I believe a physician should be: honest, responsible, highly experienced, careful, patient, and deeply committed to healing. I am truly thankful for his help, and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a doctor who treats patients with both skill and integrity. D

After 3.5 years of struggling on my own, I have seen a complete turnaround in less than six months. His expertise, combined with his encouraging nature, gave me the strength to stay committed to my recovery. He is the real deal, and I am finally on a positive trajectory toward health. I reached out because I feared I may have contracted a very scary life-threatening medical issue- something that with better warning and follow up care on the part of her and a specialist, likely could have been prevented. When I got the diagnosis from Dr. Sari for the very thing I feared, I became understandably terrified, sad, and couldn't help but cry. I apologized for being upset and despite my own emotions, I felt it was important for me to give some feedback about why this diagnosis was extra upsetting to receive. I respectfully expressed that I felt I had been let down by her and the specialist for not being warned or given proper instruction to take a common OTC supplement that would've prevented this. While I was in tears because of the diagnosis, she quite literally scolded me over the phone because of this feedback. She deflected all responsibility onto the specialist, despite me reaching out to her to confirm the specialist's treatment plan was safe and well-informed for my situation- something I thought was a standard thing to expect of your primary care physician who has a more complete picture of your health history. She proceeded to have a complete emotional outburst and said some really nasty things to me, singling me out as a patient, and yelling over me as I tried to speak. I was completely stunned. Feeling very overwhelmed and upset by her argumentative confrontation in response to reasonable feedback, I tried to diffuse the situation by pleading with her, saying I didn't feel this was an appropriate time to do this, she had just given me a serious diagnosis. I had to get my tears together to reason with her and said "Dr. Sari, please I'm not trying to argue with you" - her exact words were "GOOD! THEN DONT!" Not to mention before the testing she said I could take an OTC med that, if I had the thing I was asking about, could've killed me. I'm glad I didn't take it, since my test was positive. While Dr. Sari is generally pleasant, it seems in times where it matters most, she lacks real compassion for people who are reasonably concerned about their health. I gave the same feedback to the specialist & he calmly and professionally heard my concern and agreed he should have mentioned the OTC supplement to prevent that diagnosis. Dr. Eitches' inability to remain compassionate and professional when giving someone a very scary diagnosis ensures I never want to receive bad news from her again. She made an already bad day so much worse, and I initially thought there must be something major going on in her personal life, surely she'll realize how inappropriate that was later, but she never reached out to apologize for how she handled that day. That says the most of all to me. I debated writing this review because she was so immediately reactionary I expect she might write a response implying (as she did while scolding me over the phone that day) that I was a difficult patient, in order to deflect from her completely inappropriate behavior. Before our call she already seemed to be annoyed that I emailed after hours when I became violently ill suddenly, despite me being told by her it's fine to call with questions and concerns during office hours and to email after hours- something I only did when I was genuinely concerned about my health & I very rightly was in this case. I said I was happy to make an appointment- my after hours email was just to get an initial read on whether my situation was life-threatening & get tested before a long holiday weekend where things would be closed. Maybe that makes me a difficult patient to a doctor like Dr. Eitches. But I'm writing this review ultimately because this has deeply affected me emotionally & made me avoidant of seeking out care. I will also be at higher risk of getting this issue again for the rest of my life. I don't want another potential patient to be the emotional punching bag for Dr. Sari, and be spoken to as if you're a bother, and a nuisance for being concerned about severe and sudden symptoms. It cost me $350 for the 15 minute phone call where I was dismissed, shamed and screamed at that day. A doctor is not just there to order tests or write prescriptions- especially one who doesn't accept insurance for "better care". How doctors listen to us and speak to us matters. Nothing will outweigh the bottom line- A doctor should never EVER talk to a patient the way she talked to me, let alone while in tears during a scary diagnosis. I had many good years with her like many reviews reflect but this is a real possibility of what you might get with her, as I did, completely unexpectedly. I recommend if you're on the fence, you seek out someone without any history of brazenly scolding a scared patient, with seemingly no remorse.
