I usually do not go on Yelp for a negative review- However, been trying to get a hold of the Dr. for the past 3 weeks to go over lab results- always some excuse from the front desk, takes the message and I never hear back. THIS is not acceptable nor is it professional. If you open service to provide CARE you should provide scholar professional service- If not, let your patience know in advance not to depend on you. Expensive if you don't have insurance. Thoroughness of bloodwork is great and initial consultation is good too. But don't expect much after that unless you can afford it. The front desk answered a lot of my questions and concerns though so appreciate their effort since the doctor is so expensive. Again, Care quality is good if you can afford it or have insurance. This office is very aesthetic and the staff are friendly. I had a thorough consultation in 2020 by Dr Vahe for HRT & PRP injections on my shoulders. He asked me to give him a list of all the supplements and over the counter menopause products I was taking. It was important for me to have stopped applying the store brand estrogen cream during HRT at Innergy Integrative. Unfortunately after 10 months of treatment for both therapies my living expenses increased and I could no longer afford the services. Dr Vahe initially made me aware that he was not sure if the PRP would be effective. I decided to use my Cigna Health Plan through my employer to get spinal adjustments and manipulation and neck stretching by a Chiropractor in KTown as well alternating with acupuncture for shoulder inflammation. After an effective and recommended gall bladder cleanse by an alternative practitioner , I stopped having hot flashes from menopause and I now have a new HRT doctor through telemedicine . I get blood drawn at my local lab in Glendale and my hormone prescriptions are shipped to me. I've visited this place a couple times it's pretty pricey $375 just for a consultation is really high considering it literally includes nothing but talking to one of the doctors and it doesn't even go towards a treatment plan or anything. And then it's another like $200 for a follow up just for the doctor to go over your labs. You're already $500 out the door before they even start you on a treatment plan. They Also need more help with the IV section all of the chairs were full and it was only one nurse working back there and no one had a Iv line set up. We were literally all waiting. I wanted to update my review to provide more informative feedback for others. My previous MD, without ordering labs, prescribed me a medication on the spot which I refused to take.What I would later find out is that the medication prescribed by my previous doctor would have not resolved my symptoms whatsoever. When I met with Dr. Melikyan, he provided an hour long, thorough assessment, covering medical, nutritional and family history. Very expensive and overpriced. I think the owner needs to take more responsibility for the training of his staff, especially the front desk. I'm sure they are losing business because of it. This alone makes me question the intelligence and responsibility level of the doctor. When I first tried to contact this office to possibly make an appointment, I called 3 different times during their posted business hours, and there was no answer. So I decided to email them instead, but got no response. I was thinking they may have gone out of business or something. I tried emailing them 1 more time, and then finally someone got back to me. When I made it to the office for my appointment. The door was locked outside, and I had to spend a couple minutes trying to figure out what I had to do to get in. Finally, someone buzzed me in. No one told me ahead of time that I would have to enter numbers and get buzzed in. Then after my appointment, a couple other people were outside the outside door trying to figure out how to get in, so I had to let them in myself. I spoke to a couple different receptionists when I called to make an appointment. The first one I spoke to was pretty clueless. The next time, the other girl I spoke to was knowledgeable. I never saw the doctor, but the nurse I dealt with was hard to understand, mumbled her words, and had a strong accent. Overall just not the kind of experience I want to pay top dollar for. read more

As an Armenian woman, I'm totally bummed that I cannot recommend this Armenian-owned practice. I found the office to be unprofessional. If you're choosing to wear a mask, don't wear it under your chin, doctor. Be bold, and don't wear one at all. Secondly, I found the doctor to be arrogant, chastising, and the opposite of comforting. He needs to learn to meet a patient where they are, to listen, and not to interrupt when a patient is speaking. I have an extensive background in holistic health, and I found him to be relatively knowledgable but lacking in bedside manner and follow up. He verbally recommended a slew of blood tests at a flat out-of-pocket rate, which I agreed to. When I asked him if he wanted to jot down the labs I need so that when I come back in, they would know what to draw for. He just pointed to his head and said... "it's all up here". Cut to... I return a couple days later to get labs done. First, they try to charge me double the rate the doctor had quoted just two days before. They later texted the doctor to confirm the lower rate, and to their credit, they honored it. The blood tests were ready and sitting at their office two weeks later, and they only sent them *after* I phoned. And the cherry on top? The results didn't include any of the labs we had discussed and were just a regular panel I could've gotten anywhere else. Nope! read more

I came here seeking answers in alternative and integrative medicines for cancer. It was the best decision I made. Dr. Melikyan is extremely knowledgeable, drawing from not just western medicine but from international medical protocols and studies of cancer treatments. The way his brain functions is something else. He's a walking science book! Anytime I've needed help or an answer to something, he was quick to respond, always explaining in detail the science behind each medicine and treatment. I've saved so much money on Ancient Chinese and Indian Medicine that I even bought a beautiful car for Christmas 2020 ! I've been a patient at this clinic for hormone replacement and PRP for 10 months. I had blood withdrawn on Dec 10, 2020 for hormones but maybe the lab results got lost or the holidays caused amnesia because no one has followed up with me on my prescription pick up. It's now Jan 28, 2021. After the first 10 days of no phone call, I decided not to call. I've realized that I was forgotten as a patient but that's ok because they've got so many other patients and they are super busy and so losing one more is not a big deal I suppose. During this long period of time it's been as if Indian Dr. Vivek Joshi woke me up and advised me to clean my liver and gall bladder because these body organs can effect hormones. Pure Indian herbs can be bought in bulk form and I almost immediately noticed a change in my waste line. It's probably no wonder that the hormone replacement therapy at Innergy was barely functional even after 10 months of increasing the dosage and the hot flashes that kept waking me up at night were super annoying . I also stay away from carbs as much as possible so I didn't know what the heck was going on. I also discovered Chinese medicine for female hormone imbalances. My friend Hellen Chen swears by this Chinese medicine. Dr. Melikyan has been very gentle and caring for my shoulders with PRP therapy for 10 months and he did ask me during the initial consultation if I had received acupuncture for this issue and that at some point I could get acupuncture. After a few months of PRP I kept asking the doctor about acupuncture but apparently I didn't get the green light. During the holiday season and while Dr. Melikyan was taking his well deserved vacation, yes, I was in extreme shoulder pain but I resolved it. I contacted Dr. Zhi Mian Zhou who treated my chronic heal pain with one deep acupuncture treatment 2 yrs ago and the pain has not returned ! However due to rumors by a Buddhist nun about Chinese prescribed medicine (not the acupuncture itself ) being too expensive, I didn't go back to get acupuncture on my shoulders and I regret it 100 %. I went back to Dr. Zhou in January 2020 and not only did I get acupuncture, I also got cupping treatment to remove toxins as well as ancient dried Chinese medicine for my circulation and WOW ! , for the first time in 10 years, I feel a difference in my shoulders, WHAT A RELIEF ! I have been seeing Dr. Melikyan since October 2018. He gave me my official diagnosis of 2 autoimmune diseases. What makes him and his staff so absurdly different is the way he goes about your treatment and the TIME that's invested in you. Hear me out. I have really "good" PPO insurance. That "good" insurance got me appointments at both Cedar's and UCLA. I spent almost a YEAR bouncing between countless specialists who only prescribed a pill and gave no direction. I got slapped with fees on top of my co-pay after. My hair was falling out, I was gaining weight, I couldn't get out of bed and yet, all these specialists told me it's normal. Dr. M did NOT. He immediately ran a book of blood work on me. His initial appointment with you is an hour long. His follow ups are longer than any of my time spent with other doctors combined. He replies to ANY questions you have via email. He looks at your diet and your lifestyle, and puts all of that into factors of how to treat your body. When you become graced with an autoimmune disease, you are NOT a "one size fits all" patient - you MUST be seen as an individual. This practice is TRULY a small business family in the business of HEALING. The prices are MORE than fair. They offer a ridiculous range of supplements, medical, IV, and alternative healing. I had to take a moment and leave a review for this place. I been looking for place that does ozone at a reasonable price for a while and I came across Innergy Integrative. They use the best machine especially for ozone. There are 3 types of ozone machine the best of the best is the a Zotzmann which they use. Make sure you do your research when it comes to ozone machines people. Not all of them are very effective! Also the Dr has been trained by a very well known Ozone master Dr. Howard Robins(Google him). As for the staff, they are amazing! Great Doctor. I'm rating this purely on the front desk staff, who seems to make up her own pricing with no itemization or record of why you are paying what you pay. My first visit on the phone was quoted at $ 150.00. When I came out, it cost $ 250.00. But because it was the intake and the procedure? I believe $ 250.00 was a proper cost to charge--even though I was quoted $ 100 less prior to the visit. However, when the next visit for the same procedure happened, she tried to charge me $450 and I was only in there for 15 minutes. I was shocked. I told her the cost was $ 250 on the previous visit and then she promptly changed the price to $ 250. But I was actually expecting to pay about $ 150.00 based on the procedure time. So, for my next visit, I called to follow up on the price because I thought that the price should be listed somewhere on the website. I'm not rich or the kind of patient that can walk up to pay on the back end and find out how much it is then. I told her I needed to know if I can afford it BEFORE I do the procedure and she had no response to that. It was very clear that she thought that quoting me whatever price after a visit was standard protocol for her. She even dropped the call on me when I had to cancel my next appt.. I called back up to finish asking my question about the pricing and she never said " Sorry, we got disconnected". She didn't even acknowledge it. She was actually snarky, and I don't think the call dropped on it's own at all. I cancelled my appt. ONLY because I couldn't afford the range of money I thought she was going to charge me. And I haven't been back since. I am surprised to read another review here stating that the front desk rep explained her entire bill--I never got that at all and I actually asked for it to be explained, There was nothing but a price--no explanation or itemization whatsoever was listed on my receipt. I highly recommend this doctor. I don't know if he realizes what his front staff is doing with pricing, but I hope the doctor reads this and makes sure that patients know the cost of his procedures and that his patients understand how he calculates his costs, and also that his front staff provide an itemized bill at check out. That is standard in healthcare and his front staff should be providing that without issue. It's suspicious when there is a large discrepancy of pricing from one week to the next for the exact same procedure and the staff can't provide me an itemized breakdown of how they are arriving at that cost. How do I know I am legitimately being charged something, that the doctor wants to charge me? Does he even know what I am being charged? This predicament reminded me of a store I worked at years ago--a family establishment, where the accountant/head cashier was skimming. No one knew she was charging more and then voiding receipts and recharging customer accounts at a lower price. etc. She stole $ 1000's. Our Boss didn't have a clue, nor did we. It happens. Anyway... I think he is a wonderful doctor, but I don't see how I could return when pricing is indeterminable and I'd have to deal with this woman again. I also even requested her to ask the doctor if the price was correct that she was quoting me, and she would not. (She told me that she knew it was, even though she couldn't/wouldn't show me any pricing to justify the cost or give me an itemization of how she arrived at that price.) That's not cool. Maybe that is what he wants to charge, but if so, she should be able to show that to me ( on their website, on their literature--on the wall Menus, somewhere) , and not just name a price on the back-end that is hundreds of dollars more than the previous visit for the same procedure was. When his front staff can go from $ 450 to $ 250 in 10 seconds? ( and only because I PROTESTED the $ 450.00). There's something wrong with that. Other than this, I highly recommend him. This place is super clean, and the cheapest place there is in the LA county to get rapid COVID results (and also if you have antibodies or not). They do a quick blood prick (like a glucose diabetic prick) and you find out your results in a matter of 5 minutes. $65 for a rapid test and less of a wait compared to those tent drive thru places where you may wait for hours. Most places for rapid testing charge at least $250-$300 and you get results in 48 hours. They do not do same day testing and by appointment only. Highly recommend this place! read more

I've been looking for a solution to hair loss for 8+ years. I was skeptical about PRP (platelet rich plasma) therapy until a hair transplant surgeon strongly recommended I try it. My son has improved overall function under Dr. Melikyan's care. He suggested specific treatments that were pretty untypical (ordered from out of the country), yet EFFECTIVE! My son has better focus, attention span and is more present than he's ever been! Dr. Melikyan has also helped my dad get his health completely back on track. We had a health scare and I'm 1000% sure that without Dr.M's expertise and guidance he would've had a totally different outcome. Oh and NATALIE -she is heaven sent!!! She's super down to earth, a human anxiety reliever/makes the place super pleasant, and such a HARD WORKER! Every time I'm there I just watch in awe as she juggles & tackles many many tasks with undivided attention and EASE. I've been a patient to a couple different naturopathic/holistic medicine clinics in La (before finding Innergy) and felt very lost in the system... NOTHING COMES EVEN CLOSE IN COMPARISON.
