They have taught great skills to both of my kids and I see a sense of self pride in them wherever they go. My son has actually used the "warning" method they teach when someone attempts to bully. He has given potential bullies warnings and then not just takes the bully down, but has the intelligence and respect for his opponent to submit only as much as necessary to keep himself safe. Thankfully he doesn't have to defend himself too often, but I know that he is proud of his skills and uses them appropriately. My daughter has attended for two years and kicks some butt! She is a dancer going to Bak and I know that this place has helped her with her balance and self worth! The organization is top notch and worth attending! Thanks everyone!

The rest of the students were just as equally welcoming and ready to help me learn. Not only were they TOTALLY cool with repeating things (over, and over...) but they were absolutely fine with taking it easy on me. Learning Jiu Jitsu takes a ton of patience, time, and an open mind - if you're willing to come into this team environment with all of that, then you'll do just fine. The class size is very small (mostly 6 people, max) which alleviated my anxieties of being forgotten in the corner or not being able to ask for help, if I needed it; I never once felt like I was disrespected or alone. Then he wouldn't let us break a agreement of 1 year which when we joined that was the only option he gave us. (he also does monthly) so right off the bat he is a sneak. We called him and asked to give 30 or even 60 days notice. We only had 4 months left out of the year. He yelled and sent to a collection agency-this has never happened before. He was really a jerk. Talk about bad customer service especially when you are working with our kids. and to call our kids bullys. I would NOT recommend this school to anyone. We even post and pass on how bad and mean he was. Im actually shocked that what he is doing and did is legal. VERY disappointing and should NOT work with peoples kids. really.
