Great bookstore in Greenville, NC. All books are about $2-3, and the collection is huge and…read moreeclectic. I sat for a while reading books about psychology and medicine, but I saw a ton of cookbooks, advice books, various fiction genres, and so on. At the front, they have a more rare books for a higher price. Staff was friendly and greeted me as soon as I entered the door, but did not bother me while I was walking around. They were out of the way but ready to assist when needed. It seemed like they had a few common customers as they were on a first name basis with several people who walked in the store! My only regret is not coming here sooner.

The books inside are individually priced, while the books outside are discounted to 10 or 25 cents based on which side it is on. I could have spent hours there. After selecting way too many books, I took them up to the counter to check out. As the friendly employee rang up the books, we chatted about D&D. Overall, perfect first visit and I look forward to returning!

Just be prepared, it's an older building and it felt that way once inside, but they were very busy too. If it had not been so cold out we would have perused more of the $.10 books outside. We definitely will go back for that because there's lots of bargains that we had here. They sell a variety of items here it's worth checking out.

I wish there was more Russian literature; if they stock more of it, they will have a very loyal costumer. Lovely staff, huge selection of contemporary fiction. That is most of their stock, it seems. Sharing a space with an architectural firm, what you see when you first walk in, is what you get. There's not aisles and aisles of books, but that's what makes it easy to spend some time looking. The children and young adult section is a decent size, surprisingly, so it will give the kids something to do while you spend time looking. Mostly current authors, and a fair mix of biographical, non-fiction and informational, So & So does its job -- offering something different when time and boredom with the common stuff can make book shopping a chore. None of that is an issue here.
