It's not too bad for vehicle with at least 3 people. There's lots of parking nearby. Trails by Webster's Falls are pretty well maintained and quiet. It is pretty short so it's should good for anyone who doesn't like long hikes. Also, there are picnic benches if you are planning to bring food. I feel like Webster's is somewhere you go in the spring or autumn. You would see the leaves being colors and more water flowing over the Falls. I have seen people slowly climbing down the cliffside to get to the base side. I would suggest not doing so because rocks are slippery and the cliffside is slippery.

This review is specifically for Webster's Falls in autumn! First off, you actually have to make a…read morereservation to hike here. I did this through the Hamilton Conservation Authority website. There are time slots for each day of the week and you pay a fee for each person and vehicle, as well as a convenience charge. It's not the most accessible for all people but they do this to keep the numbers of hikers manageable. Note that they will actually check that you're on the reservation list. When we got there and parked, there was a security guard with a printed out copy of the guestlist. Later on when we were entering the main part of the hike, there was a little kiosk where we were asked for our reservation again. I'd recommend printing out your reservation and bringing it with you in case. The hike is super easy. A good portion of it is paved and there was almost always a stair option if you didn't want to chance a hill with roots. There are a few look out points for Webster's Falls. At this time of year, the falls are a lot smaller than some of the pictures you might see online due to the water levels. It's still a really pretty sight though if you go when the leaves are changing colours.

I was in the area with family in August a couple of years back…read more The trail was really short from the parking lot. The Falls was pretty though a little crowded and busy. There will be people climbing up to the middle level (the landing that sort of cuts the falls in half) and walking in the water. Be careful if you will be climbing or walking through the water. Also, there are giant rocks and logs to sit on. I feel like Sherman Falls is somewhere you go in the autumn. You would see the leaves being colors. There's a small fee enter (around $11/vehicle). It's done through a park kisok. You can use the same parking ticket at Tiffany Falls within around 2 hours or so. The price not too bad for vehicle with at least 3 people. There's lots of parking nearby (compared at Tiffany Falls). If you visit in the afternoon, it's might be a little hard to find a spot.

It's a short walk and it is very well marked, a quarter mile walk that I would call "easy" but it is absolutely not handicapped accessible. The falls are stunning. They cascade 17 meters (55 feet) in a low roar and if you are patient, you might manage to be here completely alone. Otherwise, there are people who don't understand how to behave in nature. Do a good deed today. If you have a trash bag in your car, bring it with you and I'll bet you can find a couple of pieces to pack out and dispose of properly. I don't know how well enforced it is, but feel free to give your parking receipt to someone else when you leave. $8 seems a lot for a waterfall! I was here in July so nothing frozen and no fall colors but still magnificent. a 21 meter (64 foot) cascade roars away. The path through the woods is very well marked and easy to follow up it's clear that some folks think it's okay to wander off the path. I stuck to the route and the observation platform. Partly because I'm a rule follow and partly because I'm the clumsy sort that would fall and hurt myself. Leave only footprints, take only photos. And if you can pick up some of the litter that others have left behind, you're a rockstar! [Review 1460 of 2024 - 138 in Ontario - 22483 overall]

Second, there was no actual office at all, only for staff. And this was only discovered after my fiancé walked the entire road down there from our campsite. Third, the food truck was extremely expensive, the food didn't taste very good at all, and the beach store was closed the whole time. Fourth, because we were next to the washrooms, we could hear the bathroom doors slamming closed all night long, and people talking, all past quiet hours. Fifth, the firewood they sell at the camp store doesn't burn at all and we could only start a fire by buying firestarters.. Lastly, there is no proper sidewalk for pedestrians to walk if you do not have a car or bike, so it felt very unsafe... The best part in all this was the camp store and the showers. Showers were close to the campsite walking distance which is really nice and the camp store was open great hours and had everything. All in all, I don't think we would be camping here again. It was nothing like we expected.

At the campground, the lots for trailers are a nice size and have electricity hook ups. They have a metal fire pit too. There is a nice field to play anything you want at plus bathrooms with showers at both ends. There is a store selling goods plus wood, but it closes early, even on a Saturday. It's pitch black at night with no lighting so make sure you bring a flashlight. Enjoy!
