I am so thankful that I was referred to Christina's dog grooming! I have two long haired dogs who I have not been able to take to a groomers regularly. One of my dogs is super nervous and hates being touched by anyone other than me and my fiancé. The other is large and has a thick undercoat which would typically cost over $100 for basic grooming. Christina and her mom were so accommodating. When I brought my guys in for their first visit, they made sure we were the only dogs / people there to help calm my nervous dog. They even let me stay with them during the grooming process. They were so patient and LOVING with both of my pups. It went so much better than I could have imagined possible. Both of my babies have cute haircuts and are cuddly soft! I love that they treat your dogs like their own fur family. I love that they don't leave dogs kenneled all day while waiting. They put the dog first in every way possible. All of that and their pricing is beyond reasonable, especially for the level of service provided. I've already made my next appointment with them. I've been taking my Yorkie/Poo to Christina's Grooming for almost 8 years and if I could give 10 Stars, I would. Christina has always been gentle, trustworthy, and compassionate when dealing with my senior dog, Oliver. Sadly, I had to put Ollie down 3 weeks ago today at the age of 16. When I called to cancel his upcoming appointment and to let her know of his passing, she cried right along with me. Within 20 minutes she had text me two of his recent pictures. She posts all of the dogs she grooms pictures on FaceBook. I don't have FaceBook, so that was very much appreciated. This just goes to show what a caring person she is. I took my dog in to be groomed, and was told they accept CASH ONLY! I left my dog to be groomed and was charged a large amount, so I expected a good job. When they called to pick her up, they again stressed the cash only part. I picked her up, and noticed they did not give me the style I asked for on my Maltese, but instead a basic buzz cut. As soon as I left, my dog started scratching like crazy, nonstop, so I called and left a message for owner to call me back, but she never did! I wanted to know what shampoo was being used, so not to use it again. She never had any problems with other groomers before this, so please beware. This review is long overdue. There are not enough kind words that exist to describe Christina and her mom!! First off, Christina was super fast to respond to my message. She was sympathetic when I explained that our former groomer had dumped us due to my dog's recent disability. Christina explained that her business practice was to schedule just one dog at a time so that dogs weren't anxiously waiting their turn in cages. I LOVE THIS!!!!!!! When we arrived for our appointment, we were warmly greeted by Christina and her mom. They both doted over my dog and told her how pretty she is (real talk...she looks kinda like Tom Petty, but she's beautiful to me!!). Christina and her mom both managed Vida's shave and bath due to her being unable to stand or walk. They showered her with compliments and positive affirmations!!! Vida felt like the Queen Bee!! The whole process took about 40 minutes and I was asked to stay since this was Vidas first time there. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. They are more than reasonably priced and their service and quality of work are top notch!! I'm so grateful Vida's physical therapist, Danielle at Rose City Vet, referred us to Christina's! It's hard to find a dog groomer who accepts disabled dogs, but to find one who genuinely loves dogs is such a blessing!!! I plan to always patronize her business! read more

The two ladies running this shop are very nice. However, they did the worst job grooming my mini goldendoodle has ever had. She had a lot of matting which meant she needed to be groomed down a lot but she looks like she was cut with a knife. The hair is all different lengths, she has sores on her neck, and they claimed they had to shave her face because it was matted (but they couldn't brush it out?). On top of it all, they charged me $60 instead of $45. My dog is still traumatized (has thrown up once and is not acting herself) and we will never go back to this groomers. Upon taking my dog to Christina's Dog Grooming, I was truly amazed by the excellent service for the love of my life. Strudel, my 6lb Papillon Chihuahua mix is an extremely anxious pup and I am always very cautious of where I take him, especially due to his past experiences. However, we took a chance on Christina's Dog Grooming due to be referred, we figured we would give it a shot. From the moment we arrived at Christina's Dog Grooming my pup was greeted and treated with lots of love and care. Knowing that both my pup and I are both a bit anxious about these types of events, the staff was extremely accommodating as they let me stay the whole time. As well, they took the time to explain each step of the way exactly what was happening with him. During this time, my pup seemed relaxed and happy to be in their care. (Which is a first) When he was finished, he was given a very cute bandana to wear around his neck, plus he received a goodie bag of treats related to the upcoming holiday. We've been with them for so many years now and our dogs get so loved there even when they get the four letter word "bath"! Our dogs actually JUMP out of the car when we arrive at her place. Then they look so beautiful when I pick them up. This place was very easy to find. Both mom and daughter duo were very loving and sweet to both my dogs. This was the first time I had taken my babies to the groomers So we were all nervous but gladly it wasn't too bad. The place was pretty small and extremely dusty! They need someone to help them keep the place a little cleaner. My husband had to assist them with our dogs which was no problem it was understandable since it was our first time going to the groomers.
