When I picked up my dog Teddy after his grooming, I learned that the tip of his left ear had been accidentally cut during the grooming. There was enough bleeding that gauze/hemostatic material had to be applied to the wound. The staff acknowledged the accident and did not charge me for the grooming, which I appreciated. However, what disappointed me most was that the person who actually groomed Teddy did not come out to speak with me, explain what happened, or personally apologize. I understand that accidents can happen when grooming a dog. But when an animal is injured while in someone's care, I believe the groomer should personally speak with the owner, explain exactly what happened and what was done for the injury, and show genuine concern for the dog's well-being. Making the grooming complimentary was appropriate, but for me it did not make up for the lack of direct communication and accountability from the person who groomed Teddy. Unfortunately, for a first visit, this left me feeling very uncomfortable about returning. My main concern now is simply making sure Teddy's ear heals properly.

I can tell how much she loves her job by the way she speaks to him. I've gone to many many many groomers in my 20 years of dog ownership and I am loyal to Bluemoon! She is really flexible with appointments and I usually call a week in advance to get an appointment and she always has availabilities based on my schedule. I drop him off, remind her what I want, and pick him up when she calls/texts me in about 3 hours! It's in a shared lot with other businesses like a laundromat and more but I've never had issues finding parking.

I understand that payment limitations aren't necessarily their fault, but my issue is mainly with the attitude I experienced. When I asked if I could reschedule instead, she sighed, opened the book, and said, "Day and time?" She seemed annoyed and clearly didn't even want to serve or talk to me by her demeanor. At that point, I decided not to move forward and told her I didn't appreciate her attitude. As I was walking out, I could hear her slam something down in frustration. I've been here before when they were located near the trail and had a better experience, but unfortunately, this visit was disappointing due to the lack of customer service. We regularly come for his vaccinations, itchy shots, anal gland mishaps, ear infections, nail trims, you name it! We have a naughty little guy who needs to be away from other dogs during visits and they always treat me with courtesy and respect my time (not making me sit and wait forever like other places). They make sure the path is clear to walk my little pit viper in and out, they take file notes that he handles shots and nail trims best in my hug-locks. Chris is amazing! She is so darn patient!!! My dog couldn't sleep for awhile, everytime he lay down he sat back up, so decided to bring him to do some tests, he is a tiny Pomeranian 9 years old btw, after 2 hrs or so they called and told me he has water in lungs so he will have to take medicine for the rest of his life, I have no problem with that and I went and ready to pick him up and the medicine, while The dr showing me the medicine, a nurse rushed out saying its emergency so after awhile the dr came back and told me he stopped breathing do I want them to revive him of course I said yes and they gave me something to sign, the dr came back and said he is breathing but won't let me pick him up unless I bring him to another emergency clinic, I asked what happened she said he just gave up, huh?????????? while we talking the nurse came again and said emergency again, this time I said don't save him I don't want him to suffer anymore, they put me in a room I cried and cried, I waited then they brought him to the room and I stayed with him for awhile then brought him home! There were no sympathy what so ever, all the nurses were quiet the dr didn't come back in after, I still have to pay the $900 bills, all that time only the receptionist was present, no card no nothing afterwards! I had another dog passed away few years back, I brought him for some tests at another hospital very far and it was weekend so only that hospital has the machine for the test cause he was paralysed waist down, we knew he wont make it for long, about a week or so he passed, the hospital called and asked how's he doing we told them he passed, after few days unexpectedly we got a card from them signed by all the nurses and dr there, this is the kind of animal hospital we should support but since it's very very far from me I didn't think of bringing my pom there, I still regret to this day that I brought him to TEMPLE CITY ANIMAL HOSPITAL, I should have done some investigation, asking more questions afterwards but I was more than devastating, the answer will be the same he gave up himself! Pls don't reply to this review you will just make this worse, I will never forget this for the rest of my life because I also blame myself for bringing him to your hospital.

The veterinarian shave the wound and reopened it it was so raw and he applied some kind of hydrogen because it was foaming when he brought her in, he also cut her with the clippers that he trimmed her hair with. Now she's trying to scratch her wound because the fur short and growing back. He had no bedside manner short and abrasive. Now I have to heal her wound back up and keep monitoring it. I will never bring any of my pets here

She interrupted me rudely and said, "I'm not the one you spoke to," when all I was trying to do was get copies of my dog's records. I spent almost $1,700 here for my dog's pneumonia treatment, and unfortunately it did not help at all. They kept my dog for 5 hours, and after everything, I still had to bring her to a different hospital so she could get proper care. There was also a problem with my dog's prescription. They prescribed a medication that wasn't even available until Monday. I was honestly willing to let that pass because I understand things happen, but the rude attitude from the receptionist was too much. I understand vet hospitals can get busy, but clients who are worried about their pets deserve compassion, professionalism, and proper communication -- especially after spending that much money. Very disappointed with both the service and the overall experience.

They got us right in, although I know that isn't always guaranteed. We first met with the technician and then the doctor, who thoroughly examined my dog and came up with a great plan for moving forward. I left feeling reassured that I had made the right decision by bringing him in. I am so happy I went! Everyone was friendly, compassionate, and genuinely caring. My dog and I absolutely love Happy Paws! She is so amazing with my dog, Spartacus. He is a lahsa apso shih zu mix so, he has LONG fine hair which manages to get tangled when he rolls around in the yard. In the winter when I take him to Happy Paws, he comes out as if he's never rolled around in the grass. And he smells good and looks so clean. In the spring, he gets shaved since its getting warm and she does such a great job! Spartacus always comes out of there prancing around as if he is the cutest dog ever! He always loves to go to his groomer. She is AMAZING! We both love her! read more

We took our King Charles Cavalier there for the first time on Friday 8-8-25 and they worked magic on her. She was matted up and instead of shaving her they took the extra time to get all the mats out and she looks like a beauty queen now. True professionals. Highly recommended!! read more

Kind, compassionate pickups from our home and rides home (this helped when we were inundated with my husband's surgery and didn't have a spare person available to drive him) *Overnight Boarding: Amazing. They sent me lots of photos every day and were super conscientious about following his routine. I can't speak highly enough about the kindness, professionalism, patience, and compassion of this team. They all clearly love animals and I'm so happy and grateful. Yesterday at midnight Lucky sat on some Mouse Glue and her legs and tail were stuck together. I had to use oil to unstick her. I texted Stanley at midnight and right at 6 am he texted he'll pick her up to wash her. He picked her up and cleaned her up and he did an amazing job & she's so clean again & super happy again! This is what Stanley does and cares so much for our Lucky! Nobody will go above and beyond like Stanley! Way to go! She is always so beautiful when she comes home & Stanley groomed our Sadie and Lassie who has passed & who took the best care of them too! Snowball & mostly Stanley & Grace is the Best in the pet grooming Business!
