I scheduled an appointment and clearly explained the services I wanted for my dogs. I also asked ahead of time if they accepted Apple Pay or tap pay, and was told "yes." When I arrived for my appointment, the front desk woman (didn't get her name) immediately seemed irritated. I let her know I was there, and the only response I got was, "Time?" I then noticed a sign stating they only accept cash or Zelle. Since my Zelle isn't working at the moment, I asked to confirm if they accepted Apple Pay or tap pay, as I had been told earlier. She looked at the sign and responded, "No, only cash or Zelle," in a very rude tone. I tried to explain that I had previously been told otherwise, but she cut me off mid-sentence and said, "NO WE DON'T, ONLY ZELLE OR CASH." I understand that payment limitations aren't necessarily their fault, but my issue is mainly with the attitude I experienced. When I asked if I could reschedule instead, she sighed, opened the book, and said, "Day and time?" She seemed annoyed and clearly didn't even want to serve or talk to me by her demeanor. At that point, I decided not to move forward and told her I didn't appreciate her attitude. As I was walking out, I could hear her slam something down in frustration. I've been here before when they were located near the trail and had a better experience, but unfortunately, this visit was disappointing due to the lack of customer service. I want to start this off by saying I really hate giving bad reviews. And you really really have to piss me off for me to do this. However I asked for a grooming and a paw shave. I've attached the below photos. My dog doesn't want to walk and has been lying down all day due to the pain. I paid for my dog to be injured. I've taken Sky here for a year and this is the first time I've seen his paws this way. If you cannot shave his paws because of whatever reason please just tell me I'll understand. I actually shave his paws myself but was hoping the groomers would do a better job. It's so heartbreaking to see him like this. Hello. I'm so thankful for this place. It was recommended by my neighbor Linda. I am always a little uneasy when it comes to trying out new places but ez dog wash is an awesome place. Easy to get appointment. Easy to get quick pricing. Honest about pricing. They took their time with our rescue dog. The groomers were so nice. Even though they were busy they answered all my questions and took their time with me as well. My rescue dog was full of matted hair like 9 months worth of overgrown fur matted with dirt pee smell. They had to shave her down. She is a large breed. I tried to groom myself and it was so hard. I'm so thankful to you ladies. You are so kind and awesome. The quotes that I got from other places were incredibly high close to 400 to 600 dollars. I've mostly had small dogs so I was a little shocked that is why I tried to do it myself. Spoiler alert, it was more than just a grooming. So I have two husky mixes. And I have a husband at City of Hope Hospital. Long story short I wasn't going to be able to visit my husband because I had the dogs with me. Shouldn't have been a big deal because he was doing great, but then took a turn for the worse so I felt the need to see him again. We don't live nearby, I've never used a dog walking service, but I guess I need to find one. But I was able to make a very last minute grooming appointment (which they needed anyhow) and go visit my husband for almost two hours. When I picked up my dogs, the groomer was able to give me all kinds of information about how they handled it. In such a short time she knew my dogs so well. I felt like they catered to my dogs and their needs. Side note, while I was checking in butter client's dog slipped out of its leash before he even got his dog in the building. The dog was running around the parking lot. E-Z Dog Wash sent more than one worker out to help get the dog to safety. I came for the self serve dog wash (no longer a thing btw) and decided to get our dogs washed with the staff instead since they urgently needed a wash before we left in our trip the same day. My dog is usually reserved and stressed when going to the other groomer but he was soooo happy and wagging his tail when I picked him up. I was able to get a same day appointment for my super senior 16 years old malti-poo. They did a good job with full service bath and trim. My doggo looked so adorable afterwards and she had a big smile afterwards. Their work area is an open area, but they informed me that after the dog is groomed it goes to the air conditioned room for pickup. Review for Big Dogs: NOT GOOD FOR BIG DOGS. Made an appointment specifically for 9am since it's hot and she was one of two dogs that were bathed first. Just be wary they tend to book a lot of dogs at the same time so other dogs might be waiting in the kennel (defeats the appt system). It also seems very disorganized and hectic inside! THE NIGHTMARE CUT: I specifically asked the groomer to just do a trim but now my Australian Shepherd dog looks like a poodle/pitbull. So no consideration to your request was made. It looks like they went too happy on the buzz cut because the cuts are also choppy. Her stomach has red rashes after too. THE BAD COMMUNICATION SYSTEM: I asked if they can give me a call before she's finished grooming since I'm waiting close to the area but no call. Took her in at 9am, called to ask time estimate at 12 and they said 1:15. By 1:22 I decided to just drive there and look for her because still no call and I found her in the kennel desperately drinking water! She looked so sad! (See pic for reference). I tried this place several times. The owner is very pleasant. Unfortunately, one of the groomers was highly rude when I requested a specific haircut for my dog. I actually had a picture, and she gave it right back to me with an attitude. Honestly, who needs that? I figure they don't need my business if they are willing to mistreat me. Love them!! Today I took my dog to get groomed and they pretty much did me a favor. They closed at 5pm which was around his pick up time but I had to stop by Smart & Final and wasn't sure if they would allow me in the store. I wasn't going to leave my dog in the car and before I could even think about my options with no hesitation the staff offered to watch him. Good service, very accommodating. I called one afternoon and was able to drop off a dog for a shampoo that day without a reservation. About 2 hours later they gave me a call to pick up. Cash only, so be aware to go to the ATM first. This was a little more pricey than those big box stores, but I'm more than happy to support our locally owned businesses for a job well done and flexible accommodations. We have been taking our Ollie (poodle mix) to this groomer and Linda and her team are extremely patient with our dog. Ollie suffers from extreme anxiety and they have been patient and understanding. While our dog is medicated when getting groomed, other well-regarded groomers (and popular) in Monrovia have been impatient and haven't welcomed Ollie back. It was a hot day and I don't think they have AC in there, only big fans blowing with a huge door open. I can imagine how hot it was from the fan blowing and the outside heat coming in. My poor guy was hot & thirsty when I picked him up. They have water bowls in the kennel which was nice of them, but still doesnt make it comfortable if they're feeling the heat. PLEASE READ( especially IF YOU HAVE A BRACHYCEPHALIC dog ) : So with all the great reviews I decided to take my puppy to the groomers yesterday to get a basic wash. He is a French bulldog and initially I thought everything was great when I went to pick him up; He was over the moon to see me and wanted to get out ASAP which is his usually reaction when away from me however, I was horrified later. He slept when we got home from groomers and later when he woke up I wanted to inspect his teeth because I asked for teeth cleaning and saw that his eyes had burst vessels. I'm furious because no one told me anything had happened. He was complete normal prior to groomers I didnt want to assume anythjng so I took him to his vet today and the vet asked me two questions and one of them was if I took him to get groom and I said yes yesterday He said his eyes got this way because my dog must have not liked the groomer or been scared and tried to run away or jump away when he was in a lead. He explained that many grooming places keep dogs in place with lead attach to a pole and that's why he thinks my dogs injury occurred. The pressure on the neck for collar or lead. I paid for an ointment to make sure his eye of ok. However I'm furious that this place never informed me of any situation occurring with my dog and on top of that how long was my dog under stress with the pressure on his neck for his eyes to attain this injury!!!!! I mean cmon. I only ever have him on harness because he's a brachycephalic breed After calming down and the vet visit I called them just to informed them and the manager was not aware of anything because she wasn't there when Droopy was groomed only upon intake. She apologized but that can NOT fix the situation. Frenchies are brachycephalic doggos and serious injury could have happened. I don't recommend this place based on my experience. read more
