There's also items from small businesses around which I so love! As for their pricing, I thought it was pretty fair. On the items I personally bought - I felt like everything was face value but I noticed a $1-$2 price mark up which isn't terrible. The store is a pretty decent size but on weekends, especially, it can get pretty crowded so just a fair warning.

My first impression was that I was walking in one of the Magical Hallmark movies and I found this shop. I explored every inch in the shop since I am fond of unique kitchen supplies, gadgets and utensils. I found them all in this shop.. They have lovely and stunning ornaments too. The shop was very organized.The staff were so sweet, welcoming and friendly. I wish I could spend longer time there. The Hen's Kitchen Shoppe is a hidden gem in Clairmont .I will be back very soon.

After breakfast, I walked on over & it is exactly what I pictured it AND MORE! Cute, darling kitchen items, gadgets (some I would not even know what to do with) and cooking paraphernalia abound! I couldn't stop staring & just wonder in complete awe. Wow! I barely had time to process & check everything out do the photos posted are just cursory pictures, for now. Must stop by another day when Hubby is not in a hurry or take one of my girlfriends to explore this shop & all of what Claremont has to offer. This location has always been problematic with the older guy who works there and/or owns the place being rude to both customers and employees alike, but we will be driving the extra distance to Hallmark in San Dimas from here on. I must admit they do have some very cool little Knick Knacks and novelties that I've personally purchased. I must say though I'm glad most of these shops have moved out of malls and that makes the experience a lot better than to deal with the parking during the holidays. The service seems to be consistent and they're always helpful. So yes to always coming back to old faithful. And that's my take on the gifting gift shop, Peace...
