So I got light and dark. I don't care for the dark but the milk is wonderful. As good as violet crumble. Maybe a lil better. Worth the wait and now I want to make a special trip at Christmas. Went here today for their candy demo and was not disappointed! I went with my husband and 2 kids and it was a blast! I highly recommend it! You have to get tickets in advance, and it's $6/person which is a great price. Went about 15 mins early, which was plenty of time ahead, secured our spot and watched the demo. Jerry was great at explaining everything and he had a mic on so everyone could hear. We were able to watch the pillow cutting too and got to enjoy some warm samples which was heavenly! Once it was finished we were able to mold/shape our own candy canes which was so cool! They gave us a bag too to take it home in so that was nice. We stood in line once the demo was concluded and got our goodies. I went with all the cashiers recommendations and was not disappointed. Got some pink lemonade sour rings, candy blocks, milk chocolate gummy bears and the oh so delicious peanut butter milk chocolate squares. Those were sooooo good! Taste better than a Reese's cup! My dad used to bring me here when I was a kid, so I decided to check it out again. We went for a candy cane demonstration on a rainy Christmas Eve. It was perfect. Lots of available space to watch the process. I love that they give you warm candy cane pieces to try. For $6.50 you can buy tickets to bend your own. We booked tickets in advance for a candy making demo, and it was such a great experience. It is such a fun shop with so many yummy goodies to try! I didn't expect all of the different flavors and shapes of "candy canes" they had to offer. They even have fun hearts and four leaf clover shapes. We arrived early, to check it out and get checked in, and I was surprised to find it already full of ticketed guests. We checked in at the register in the back, and were given our tickets to hole into for our own candy cane bending at the end. Once it started, everyone gathered around the windows. The other guests were all very kind in letting all of the kiddos get up closer for better viewing too. We watched for about 20 min or so, while the owner made a batch of blue raspberry candy for canes and candy pillows. He told us the story of the store and when/how they started while joking along the way. Once the candy was moving onto the finishing/shaping stages, we were given some fresh samples of the still warm candy to try - so YUM!! Then, as they continued finishing the candy, we all lined up to bend our own fresh and warm candy cane. After we were done, we roamed the shop a bit and found some more of their fresh made goodies to bring home with us. We'd definitely come back again! I've wanted to visit Logan's Candies and bring my daughters since they were toddlers. However, we'd always get too busy during the holidays, I'd forget, or their candy demonstrations would sell out. This year, that changed and we finally went last night! I'm so happy we did--it was a great and memorable experience! The candy store has a classic look and feel to it. There's a gift shop attached to it as well. The candy demonstration is the main draw for the store, with a window for viewing outside, as well as a large window partition inside along their assembly station. They also have cameras and a small monitor to display the demonstration. We got to watch them make a batch of their root beer candy canes. Very interesting process! They do a great job of explaining everything, working in some humor and some history as well. Love they work in the witness of the candy cane story and the true meaning of Christmas. They have copies of the story available to take with you. They also made some of their candy cane pillows, which allowed all of us to receive a fresh, warm sample. Delicious! Finally, we each got to get our own candy cane to bend. They handed them to us in small bags. They were still quite warm and that made it a little difficult to work with, so I just went with the traditional J or shepherd's staff. Updating my review because my darling girls treated me to the candy making demonstration and it was SO COOL! Jerry absolutely loves what he does and is skilled at his craft. To watch him create candy canes from scratch is amazing. You can tell he has been doing this for years as his precision & timing is impeccable. He explains each step along the way in a lively & animated fashion. Participants are given a piece of the warm, freshly made cany cane pillows. They are even better warm. The candy canes & pillows come in a variety of flavors. We tried Honeydew and it was delicious! If you purchase a ticket you will also have the opportunity to shape your own candy cane, and you get to keep it too! Of course we bought some tasty treats. It is a cute little local family run candy shop. Get a very homey and nostalgic vibe as soon as you step in. Purchased tickets in advance for the candy demonstration, but you can also purchase in person. The price of the ticket is equivalent to one candy cane, which they give you at the end of the demonstration, so it's worth it if you were planning on getting a candy cane anyways. For the longest time since I've watched their youtube/ tiktok shorts, I thought they were based somewhere in Ontario, Canada but they're a few miles away from Euclid ave near the 10 fwy. I thought it would be tiny inside but they do have a good amount of space for the various candies they sell. I usually come here to stock up on their salt water taffy with my favorite flavors of butter popcorn, cinnamon roll, frosted cupcake, and blue cotton candy; and they do smell and taste like what the flavors imply. I also like their chocolate chip dark chocolate which is plain ruffles potato chip mixed with dark or milk chocolate. They have a good variety of housemade chocolates along with sugar-free candy selections. Their various flavors of candy canes are great too, I have seen a demonstration of the man doing a batch for a crowd while I was getting candy. They do give out warm samples of pillow candies after demonstrations, they were making their seasonal pumpkin spiced pillow candy. Discovered Logan's on a trip to So-Cal for Thanksgiving. WOW ! Established in 1933, this place is magical...or better than that ! Chocolates of all types, grabbed some chocolate covered potato chips (very good). Happened to luck into them making a batch of candy cane hearts, watching them craft these beautiful candy cane hearts was amazing and so satisfying. I made a return trip to purchase more chocolate to take home to Tucson AZ. I will make sure to get more candy on my next trip to So-Cal. read more

Customer service: A younger employee greeted me when I walked in, friendly and polite. Later, I had a few questions about the jars of loose candy in the third room, which seems to be a collection of random odds and ends. She was busy, so I asked an older blonde woman instead. Unfortunately, she seemed less than thrilled to help, smiling through what looked like physical pain. I was just trying to figure out the rhyme or reason behind the layout, but I got the vibe I was asking for state secrets. Overall: I never even tried the chocolate, which is ironic considering from their replies to other reviews on yelp they suggest See's is their competitor. Been coming here for years! It's a mom and pop shop that's been here forever! My kids enjoy candy canes from here every year. They also do special orders. I had ordered heart shaped candy canes for a school fundraiser and they came out super cute! They also sell chocolates, ice cream and novelty items. Always a sweet place to come to. We've been here a long time ago. This time we invited my brother and his son to visit. Their first time. Staff is very friendly and happy to explain and answer any questions. We were hoping to watch them demonstrate candy cane making but we didn't realize it's going to be way later in the afternoon. My only wishful suggestion is that they can announce clearly on YELP. Like for today, I think it's 2pm and 4pm. Free to watch. For $5 we can be involved with hands on experience to make candy. It's so much bigger than I thought and they offer a huge selection, including a chocolate counter, fudge, their candy cane pillows, iconic candy and gifts/souvenirs. The service was truly the best. And the price to see this demonstration was so inexpensive for what you get. The store is older but has a lot of charm. I was really excited to attend a candy demonstration at Logan's Candies and even took the day off work so I could bring my mom and my husband. Tickets sell out fast, so I assumed this would be a well organized, ticketed event. Unfortunately, it was anything but. We arrived early, and the shop was already completely packed. People were spilling outside the store, and there was no room to push my mother's wheelchair inside. This alone was extremely disappointing, especially for a paid event. There was: No clear line. No host or staff member managing the event. No one checking or collecting tickets. No signage or instructions. No way to tell who was there for the demonstration versus who was just shopping. It was just a crowd of people standing around waiting, with no direction or structure. We couldn't even find someone to talk to about our tickets. What was the point of buying tickets at all? If capacity isn't controlled and accessibility isn't considered, then selling tickets feels misleading. Furthermore, for a ticketed event, there should have been capacity limits and accommodations to ensure all guests, including those using wheelchairs, could safely attend. This could have been a great experience, but the lack of organization and complete disregard for crowd control and accessibility really ruined it. We walked away, didn't see the demo. Wasting 18 bucks isn't the end of the world but we're still disappointed. I hope the business takes this feedback seriously and improves how these events are handled in the future. This shop gets a lot of well-deserved hype online for their candy-making videos. They even hand out samples of warm candy while they're making it! We loved the variety of milk and dark chocolates. They also have a good selection of sugar-free chocolates. You can get it by the piece or in a box and it is around $26 per pound. The half pound boxes fit plenty and were great gifts. I finally got a chance to stop by this place to satisfy my sweet tooth! And just a few feet away from the store you can literally smell the sugar from outdoors. I was absolutely pleased with the selection and the customer service! I was graciously helped by two employees and after inquiring with another customer about how the honeycomb tasted, I was offered a sample WITHOUT asking. Their treats are delicious (I'm currently eating cotton candy pillows and English toffee while writing this review). I didn't realize Jerry was working and he gladly thanked me for coming in the store (I enjoy watching their TikToks). I love supporting small business but it is even better to know they are grateful for the business their customers bring. I'm honestly baffled by some of these negative reviews.
