Went to have tea with my mom. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and shown to our table. Everything is decorated very nice. I ordered a black tea and my mom ordered a fruit green tea and we both were happy with our choices. We did the tea option with soup and salad and both were delicious! They sell the salad dressing. I had a mimosa and that was very tasty. I would definitely order it again. Then our scone came out and OMG! I could have just ate the scone and been happy with the meal. Last but not least the sandwiches and desserts came out. The food, service and experience was exceptional. I cannot wait to return.

I go to tea anywhere and everywhere I go. I have had The Olde Magnolia Tea Room on my list for a few years now and recently was going to be passing through Upland so took the opportunity to visit. There is a good size free parking lot right across the street. The building is really cute and the service was good. The tea and items were also good, I particularly liked their scone and the soup course.

A long time friend and I shared an afternoon of full tea service at Olde Magnolia yesterday. It was a treasured time and experience. The staff were attentive and kind, the food was delicious and fun, and the ambience was time period relevant and delightful. Highly recommend a visit to this wonderful place!

This is the cutest tea house! Such a friendly staff. The teas smell and taste delicious. We tried the coconut chai, the orange passion fruit, and the huckleberry teas. All the tea sets were BEAUTIFUL. And their finger foods were so tasty! There wasn't anything I didn't like!

A hidden gem for a perfect, peaceful, afternoon tea in a charming, picturesque building. The old world architecture and cottage like decor gives you an authentic garden like tea experience. At the Olde Magnolia Tea Room you'll experience exceptional service by the amazing, friendly staff and owners! The refreshing tea is imported from England and can be purchased at the front desk. Excellent variety of teas, sandwiches, and desserts. Home made cookie recipes from grandma were a treat!!

Tea in a historic classical revival brick building from the early 1900s?! Yes please!

We treated my son and DIL to an afternoon tea here to kick off the holiday season and it was perhaps one of the best (if not THE best) afternoon tea service we've ever experienced!! Everything was flawless - from the holiday vibes and stellar service to the scones and sandwiches! I booked online for the holiday themed full afternoon tea for Thanksgiving weekend several weeks in advance and luckily squeezed in on the Saturday. Booking online was easy and straightforward. I received a friendly call very soon afterward from owner Terry to confirm and secure a time. The original date I wanted was already full so I'd advise to book well in advance if you have your heart set on a particular day. And I believe Terry also provided our tea service on the day - I can't say enough about how warm and attentive he was! Exemplary service! Our place settings were beautifully decorated with Christmas poinsettias and set such a festive tone from the minute we were seated! Terry explained the process and gave us a rundown of the teas and food orders. Since there were four of us we received two pots of tea and it was way more than we could drink! The pots are very generous and did an impressive job of keeping our teas hot! We chose the Coconut Chai and the Spicy Vanilla - both were delicious and we all agreed we would happily get these again. After getting settled in with our tea, out came the first course - a lovely homemade roasted tomato soup and a salad with a delightful homemade onion vinaigrette. The soup was incredible- we all loved it. After we cleaned our plates, Terry brought out a seasonal pumpkin white chocolate scone with clotted cream (made in-house and to die for!) and a delectable cinnamon maple butter. Hands down one of the best scones and cream I've ever had! And last but not least - our three-tiered tower of heaven arrived!! Two tiers of finger sandwiches and a top tier full of more sweet bites to finish us off. There were four sandwich flavors: chicken salad, egg salad, roasted red pepper, and cucumber. All homemade and all absolutely divine! The bread was soft as velvet and the fillings were full of flavor with smooth textures. The dessert tier was also phenomenal! There were three types: beautiful holiday petite fours, pieces of sinful chocolate fudge, and a miniature spiced holiday cheesecake. I'm not a huge fan of fudge but theirs was lovely! All of it was to be honest. This will be the afternoon tea service that I compare all tea services to going forward haha! The building itself is also spectacular. The tea room sits in a beautiful historic classical revival brick building from the early 1900s that the owners lovingly restored to reflect that era. You'll find it in Old Town Upland to further add to the historic vibes! And they've decorated for Christmas with such flare - you could spend all afternoon looking at the decorations and still not be able to take it all in. They have a small gift shop in the back of one of the dining areas - but unfortunately we couldn't get to it bc of guests being seated directly in front of it - so I was kinda bummed but I'll just have to check it out next time. Parking is free street parking in the surrounding area but there's also a free public lot across the street. We didn't have any issues finding a spot. Initially I thought the holiday themed tea was a tad pricey at $49 per person - but after the experience I honestly can say I feel it's totally justified and I wouldn't hesitate to visit again. Tysm Terry and staff for a wonderful holiday memory for me and my family!

This is a wonderful place to get together for a British afternoon tea. I met a few friends for the high-tea service (some were not available, hopefully we can return and share the experience with them). Thank you, Te-see, for making the reservations and sending the payment for confirmation. The owners pride themselves on providing excellent customer service in a quaint Cafe atmosphere. They decorate for each season and holiday. The High-Tea is approximately $40 per person and includes two teapots, baked scones, finger sandwiches, homemade jam and Devomshire cream, lemon curd and dessert pastries. Note 1: Full Tea Service for $5 more will include soup and garden salad. Note 2: Wine, Champagne or Mimosas are available $10-$15 per glass. Note 3: I adored the antique furnishings and the little gift shop by the fireplace where you can buy vintage clothing and jewelry or a teacup and saucer to take home. 5 stars in service 5 stars in menu 5 stars in ambiance/decor 4.5 stars in tea flavor could be more robust Sincerely, Rosemary

I love afternoon tea and was excited to try this place as it came highly recommended by a Yelp friend and I saw that it has ton of 5-star reviews! Making reservations was easy, I entered my contact info on their website and received a call back to schedule my reservation. I had the option of booking indoor or outdoor seating, and normally I would love to sit outside, however with the weather being so finicky lately (either really hot or unexpected rain), I opted to sit inside to avoid any uncomfortable temperatures. The restaurant decor was cute and decorated in fall colors. There were lots of Disney themed items and cute details throughout. It is a bit much for me personally, but I can see the charm. Overall the most bizarre tea experience I've had. The main thing I remembered from this experience was the condescending way our server Terry acted. I wish that Terry would communicate all his rules and expectations upon arrival. I honestly think he tries to be friendly, but he comes off as being insincere and smiling for him seems forced. He seemed to be a stickler for rules and seems to gets anxiety for any deviation from his rules. We arrived to our 11:00 am reservation a few minutes early. As I never had been here before, we followed another party through the side entrance since the main door wasn't open and there was no sign about waiting until the doors were unlocked, so we thought the entrance was through the gate as we saw a lot of people there. We were told by Terry to exit and wait at the front door until they opened. Strange, as most places will probably check you in and ask you to wait until your table is ready. When the doors finally opened, we were seated immediately, we placed our orders and then got up to use the restroom and look around while we waited for our tea to arrive. We were then told by Terry to return to our seats and that we could look around after our tea service ended. ??!? I couldn't believe we were being reprimanded for looking around... We received our scones, fresh and warm from the over. They were delightful and the best part of the tea. There was lemon curd and clotted cream, but in such a small amount. However, I was scared of asking for more in fear of being reprimanded again. The sandwiches were ok, the tea was ok. We had the Buckingham Palace black tea and the Maple Ginger herbal tea. The Maple Ginger was really fragrant and good, the Buckingham Palace tea was on the weak side and very pale for a black tea. I wish it was more robust, so I was a bit disappointed with that blend. I asked about refilling the pot and Terry was said that we needed to angle the lid on top of the pot to indicate that we needed a refill because "that's how they do it in Europe". Ok, didn't realize we were on European rules here. Once again, a little communication before hand would've been helpful. My friend and I both felt uncomfortable and awkward about our entire experience and do not plan to return.

Highly recommend this quaint tea house. Reservations required. Prices typical for afternoon tea service. We began with mimosas with apple cider. And teas: peach was a group favorite with vanilla spice as a close second in my opinion. The salad dressing was very good, as was the tomato soup with red pepper. The finger sandwiches were delicious, I especially enjoyed the egg salad and red pepper. And desserts were delightful. The service was great. Terry is funny and cool and super helpful. The beautiful brick building is decorated to accentuate the historic details. After, we shopped their antiques and each found a few items to take home.

High Tea has been a Royal tradition for centuries and continues to hold its place amongst tea lovers. For decades I have had the pleasure of experiencing this tradition at many tea houses all over the world and today I finally made my way here after the rave reviews on Yelp. As soon as I stepped inside I was swept into my Nana's living room. It was filled with the most beautiful vintage tea paraphernalia, clothes and jewelry. There were two rooms set perfectly for afternoon tea. I loved the Fall decorations, the hat boxes and vintage coats. The owner Terry, greeted our group and sat us at a table for 4. We loved it! Service here was impeccable! The staff were busy serving many tables and a few large parties and didn't even sweat:) They checked in on us many times which was appreciated. *We all ordered The Regular Afternoon Tea ($36 each) which came with: 2 Pots of Tea - We Picked: Buckingham Palace (Black Tea) & The Orange Passionfruit (Herbal Tea). The Tea was my least favorite...It was not strong enough and the herbal tea had no flavor at all:( *Homemade Baked Scone w/Homemade Jam &Homemade Devonshire Cream ~ 5/5 Vanilla Bean with Ghirardelli White Chocolate Chips...YUM! *An Assortment of Finger Sandwiches - (chicken salad with dill 5/5, Egg salad 5/5, Cucumber 5/5, Red pepper Cream Cheese 5/5 *Assortment of Homemade Desserts ~ scrumptious! Opened just before Covid and has been thriving ever since. The outdoor patio is available but on a hot day I would recommend sitting inside. You can feel the love that went into this tea house...every tea cup and tea pot tells a story...Many were gifted to Terry from his grandmother who had a Tea House in Paris... *3 Hour parking on the street & in the lot across the street *Great for bridal showers, baby showers, birthday's and just because!

I've seriously wanted to come here for years! I've seen the photos from others who have been here and it has always looked so cute and fun. So when some friends of mine suggested afternoon tea here, you better believe I was all over that! Terry served us and was so incredibly sweet and helpful. All the staff was great and jumped in to help all the parties that were there. The decor is awesome. They also have a cute little gift shop and sell local honey. The Regular Afternoon Tea comes with two pots of tea (we got Buckingham Palace and Orange Passionfruit) a homemade baked scone which was vanilla bean blueberry with Ghirardelli white chocolate, homemade strawberry jam, homemade Devonshire cream, homemade lemon curd, and an assortment of finger sandwiches and homemade desserts. The tea needed to be a little stronger for me--as a result I didn't add any sugar or milk. Terry did make one pot stronger, so I think adjustments can be made if you need it. But the food was incredible! The scone was so delicious and the sandwiches were all really good--hard to pick a favorite. I'd definitely come here again! Thank you, Olde Magnolia Tea Room! And thank you to my friends for a lovely afternoon!

The Tomato Bisque and salad were fabulous!

For my 57th birthday, I chose the Olde Magnolia Tea House to celebrate! Tea used to be one of my mother's favorite things to do so I needed her spirit with me today and THIS was definitely the place! All of the food was delicious! The ambiance and music were perfect for my day and the staff, servers and greeters were all quite lovely people! We are DEFINITELY coming back soon!

Hosted an intimate tea for my mom the Saturday before Mother's Day. We ordered the full tea menu, everything was delicious. Terry and the other staff were very friendly and hospitable. The noise level was moderate and I loved it. You could tell people were enjoying themselves.

When we called ahead, no one mentioned they were only serving a limited St. Patrick's Day menu today. Nothing from the regular menu was available. My daughter ended up eating plain fries the whole time because there wasn't a single kid-appropriate option. It felt misleading after being told it's family-friendly when we called prior to coming. The place was packed. The line was out the door, and we had a long wait. Inside was uncomfortably hot and stuffy too. I was eyeing the Cottage Pie but asked the server about peas (not a fan), and she said it might have a lot, so I passed. My wife ordered it instead since she doesn't mind peas and surprise, zero peas in it. She said it was just okay, nothing special, so I guess I didn't miss out. I went with the Irish Nachos instead. They were fine, but the house-made potato chips were underwhelming. Crispy but not flavorful. The standout was the lemon pepper wings. Those were actually really good. Green beer was a fun thematic touch too. Atmosphere is lively for the holiday, but for a regular visit or even future St. Patrick's Day? Probably not coming back. If you're planning to go on the big day, brace for crowds and waits. And for fun, here's a limerick summing it up: There once was a pub in Upland so grand, For St. Paddy's we joined hand in hand. The bottomless mimosas ($29.99) sound like a great deal, but just know how they run it. There's a 90-minute minimum, and they don't bring a bottle to the table--you get one mimosa at a time, and you have to finish it before they'll bring another. The first one I got tasted like straight orange juice barely any champagne. I sent it back and to their credit, they remade it much better They mentioned they control pours to keep the environment in check, which I understand--but if you're expecting free-pour vibes, that's not the case here. Food-wise: French toast & breakfast potatoes were really good However the Chilaquiles were super dry and lacked flavor--wouldn't recommend Burger & fries were decent, but nothing special As for drink pricing, it does lean a bit on the higher side. bucket of 5 beers was around $42, $15 for a Tito's vodka shot, and even a basic Jack and Coke came out to about $18 with tip, which felt a little steep for the area. the best deal was definitely the green tea shots at only $9 I will say, our waitress Priscilla was great. She had a lot of tables and seemed a bit overwhelmed, but she still made an effort to check on us and kept my mimosas coming pretty promptly. I didn't have to wait long at all between refills, which I appreciated. Since we went for a special event, the DJs were great and really kept the energy up the whole time Parking was easy. It did say there was a $2 fee, but when we printed the ticket, we weren't charged--so it might be free, but I'd still double-check at the kiosk just in case. Overall: decent spot for the vibe, music, and brunch outing, but just be prepared for controlled drinks and slightly higher prices.

I was going back and forth on whether to get a burger or salad, and opted to order the Asian style salad with kale and fried chicken. My friend ordered the kimchi style burger with a side salad. The salad that I ordered was a good size and I liked how they didn't drench it with dressing. The chicken strip pieces, kale, and addition of cashews made the salad pretty enjoyable. My friend's burger was alright, but they overdid it with the spicy sauce and did the same with her salad dressing. She couldn't finish the side salad, since the dressing was a little too much. Our server was quite welcoming and helpful. Customer service was friendly and attentive and we had a decent dining experience. I will say $24 for a salad with some chicken tenders is a bit high. I considered ordering the key lime pie for dessert, but changed my mind, since it was $10. The prices for food are steep, and I assumed it would be a bit cheaper. However, that is generally the case for airport food and ONT has very limited selection. Possibly worth visiting if you're flying out of ONT and in need of a pretty good meal before your flight. To be honest, it may be best to dine or eat somewhere outside of the airport.

What I was not expecting was a new surcharge called an Employer Benefit Surcharge that's normally seen in the Bay Area. I just want a burger, paying for a stranger's health insurance is not something on my mind when eating out nor should it be. No one else pays for mine and I don't want anyone to. The Server was very polite in explaining what it was and I still left a normal tip but won't eat there again. Personal responsibility California. Personal responsibility.

We showed up about 30 minutes before doors opened and on this night there was still parking directly across the street but if it was full there seems to be other lots close but. It was $30 for a Friday night show. The line to get in wasn't too long and door time was pretty accurate maybe 5/10 minutes late but no big deal. The security was pretty fast too. Basic security if you been to any concert recently. Take all your stuff out of your pocket and as long as you don't have anything suspicious you will be good to go. Merch was on the left and right side when you got in and there is a bar also right when you get in. I'm not sure if this is for every show but for this one there was a difference for general admission and general admission pit. We had pit tickets and this got you in the section right in front of the stage. There is a security guard who checks your ticket and you get a wristband so if you leave you can come back. There is also a bar right in this section which is nice so you don't have to leave. If you don't have pit tickets the next sections behind are all first come so if you want a closer and better view you would need to arrive right when doors open or earlier if it is a popular show. There are also seats upstairs. I didn't get to see how the view is from up there but the venue is not too big so I'm sure it is a great view up stairs and good for people who don't want to stand all concert and prefer to have a seat. The sound was good and as mentioned since we had pit tickets the view was really good. The one thing that I didn't like and can be an issue if maybe you are drinking a lot or just need to use the restroom, is that the only restroom was upstairs. Or if there was one downstairs I never saw it and no one directed me to those. They are located up stairs and are quite a mission once the venue gets packed. This venue is a little out of my way but if an artist I really wanted to see was only performing here I wouldn't hesitate to purchase tickets and come here again.

It's super fun to see the signs that light up each week, whether announcing the next featured artist/band, or wishing someone a happy birthday. Today's sign brought a smile to my face so I had to take a picture!
