Our original florist unfortunately came down with a serious health condition two months before our wedding date and could no longer provide the flowers for our wedding. Fortunately, Gerych's had availability for our date on short order! It was more expensive than we had anticipated, but they were willing to work with me when I asked about cutting costs where we could. While I was initially concerned that the bouquets didn't look like the inspiration I sent, I quickly realized that they were possibly even better. Couldn't be happier with how they accentuated our venue and our photographs!

Our wedding was at a our…read morefriend's farm which meant we had to bring in vendors to cover everything--tables and chairs, DJs, caterers, bars, etc etc. Being that I plan events for a living I didn't really need anyone to coordinate all that for me, I'm used to managing a few different vendors, juggling contacts, etc. However, that was the last thing I wanted to do on my actual wedding day, so I decided to hire a day of coordinator who could be our point person through it all. Tammara made the whole process so smooth. I provided all my vendor contacts and she checked in with them the week of to make sure everything was set. She sent me worksheets which made the timeline and the ceremony structure easy to plan. I went into the day feeling stressed (of course! I stress about everything!) but also confident in knowing the day was going to go great! The day of Tammara and Stephanie (one of her coordinators) were excellent. We had a bit of rain and they came up with contingency plans for the ceremony should we need them. Luckily the rain stayed at a drizzle so we moved forward with the outdoor proceedings but I was grateful for their back up all the same. They made sure all the chairs from the ceremony were moved into the reception barn, they even moved decorations from outside into the reception area to help dress it up during the dinner and dancing (a touch I didn't even consider but appreciated as they looked fantastic in the photos). They helped make sure the catering, bar and all the other odds and ends else went smoothly. They even cleaned up post wedding and loaded all the gifts and some decor pieces in my car. The next day when my husband and I went back to the space to finish clean up we were delighted to find that we didn't have to do a darn thing other than load up the rest of the boxes (that they had filled with the rest of the wedding decor and misc. wedding items in the car) and the linens (that they had placed in the rental bags for us) and everything was done. After all the set up, the stress leading up to it and of course all the fun from the day of I was absolutely exhausted the day after and was so grateful for the easy clean up that I cried tears of relief on my drive back home. Also, and most importantly for many, her prices are incredibly reasonable. Especially given the time she spends with each client and how well she does her job. There are several packages that work in levels of affordability and come with different hours she and her team commits to your event. Something for everyone and your needs. I would hire her again in a heartbeat and I highly recommend that you do too, should you be in the market for an event coordinator. I knew I was going to need some help when I booked my venue where I did (worst ever), I didn't realize it was going to be so easy to have another 'me' there setting everything up. I didn't cry the day before or the day of the wedding. I think I was more in shock than anything, but as soon as I walked into the reception area and saw what had been put together in such a small period of time, I was filled with emotion. After only a bit of email communication on how I would like everything set up, I walked into my own head. Everything was laid out even more perfect than I could imagine and everything was ready to go. I was incredibly satisfied with the work she did and couldn't of asked for a better DOC.

I called from out of town and described the floral bouquet (pink, white, yellow and a small amount…read moreof blue) I would like delivered to my sister in their area. I was assured their designer would do a good job and assemble what I asked for. Instead a yellow orchid PLANT no mixed colors was delivered and I was supposed to be satisfied because it was an "upgrade". When I called and complained, I was told they would go out there and pick up the plant and deliver a new vase of florals. I thought that seemed tacky now late in the day. I said do not go out there, and asked for a refund, they eventually said ok. Then they arrived at my 92 year old sister's house at 8:00pm at night and said they were there to take back her flowers. Can you believe anyone would do this on someone's 92nd birthday??? I am sickened. What I ordered for$120 was not delivered and I was told why should they pay for it and not me. Because you are the seller who did not deliver what you said you would that's why. I am stunned at their treatment of my sister and myself. I am not new to retail, I was a top producer at BLOOMINGDALES, and I find this unacceptable and frankly CHEAP.I personally think an upgrade would have been additional flowers to the bouquet not a switch. Those orchids or very similar, are in every grocery store in California.

She's so talented and works with you. I loved simplicity and when vendors tried to push me to do more extravagant she stood up for me and told them that's not what she wants. If there was any problems days before the wedding she'd make sure to fix it before stressing me out. I was really busy with work at the time and she made the planning process stress free. No matter day and time if I had any questions she'd answer me. My in laws and their family and friends came from Canada and they still talk about how beautiful everything was that day. Placed an order through 1-800-flowers for a friend who is going through a loss. The flowers were…read morereceived and she sent me photos and it did not match the quality of the photo that I ordered. There was only two white roses in an arrangement supposed to be mostly roses. I called 1-800-flowers and they immediately apologized that the arrangement didn't look as nice as it did online, and refunded me. Honestly I didn't need a refund, I just was surprised it didn't look like what I expected. I never asked for a refund. But the worst part came afterwards when the florist at this shop was calling and harassing my friend (the recipient), instead of contacting me, saying they were going to come pick up the flowers because they weren't going to be paid for, and leaving someone who is going through a hard time already, in a confused and frustrated place. The tone in which this employee spoke with us was completely unacceptable. She ended up telling me that no one should go through 1-800-flowers (then why does your business partner with them??), and made the whole situation completely my problem for using this website. Again, why would 1-800-flowers issue a refund to me if they weren't going to pay the small business? All I wanted was for my friend to be left alone, and for the flowers she had to be kept by her. So even though I was disappointed by the cheap looking arrangement they put together, I paid them separately. The whole experience was unbelievably poorly handled. Don't use this florist, there has to be better options in the area.

I make it a habit to shop local rather than big online companies. My original order preference was not available because of seasonal changes (very understandable), they contacted me right away to explain the situation and proceed to design another arrangement. When the arrangement arrived at the church I cried because it was so beautiful and exceeded my expectations. I wish I had taken a picture, but I did not. Thank you Bakmans for making my families difficult day a bit brighter.
