My experience with Chris when purchasing my home recently was totally not what I expected. From the very beginning, Chris was responsive and very patient in answering all of my questions. I felt that he was honest and trustworthy and, most importantly, had my best interest as a priority. My experience with Chris Jordan and First Home Mortgage was great. As a first time home buyer there are many challenges with buying a home. Chris made this a very simple process and help us to secure our VA loan. It was actually one of the more easier processes of buying my home. He even was able to check military records to get the proper paper work to show our qualification of the VA loan. A year ago I worked with a couple other lenders and it was a very frustrating experience. I ended up not purchasing then because the lender I finally choose to work with was not punctual with documentation and did not follow through with what was said or promised to me and my wife. When I first started out in the home buying process, I began by working with one of the larger banks to get estimates for rates and services. I switched to First Home Mortgage because they were smaller and more hands-on with my loan. It took me towards the end of the home buying process to commit to a company so First Home did not have much leeway with getting my loan together (which was completely my fault). My wife and I have used Chris twice now, for a purchase and again for a refinance, and have been very pleased on both occasions.
