Mary is incredibly friendly, attentive, and makes you feel genuinely welcome from the moment you sit down. We were winding down our 4th of July vacation & arrived at noon on a Sunday (party of 4) for brunch before we hit the road. The hostess quoted us a 30 minute wait. Because we had an errand to run before we left, it was perfectly timed. We came back at 12:30 and were sat promptly. The place was clean, neat, & all the staff was friendly. Our waiter approached the table, took our drink orders (3 chocolate milks + 1 coffee for me) and we ordered: BLT + fries, chocolate chip pancakes, the 222 special, & a vegetable skillet no mushrooms. Our waiter was great-he was friendly, kind, & efficient. HE was a 5 out of 5 stars. Here is the struggle and the struggle was very real: at 1:20 we were stillllllllllllll waiting for our food. 50 minutes after being seated, 40 minutes after ordering, & this place is not big. There are only so many cups of coffee I can drink (and so many glasses of chocolate milk I am willing to pay for) before I am like "WHERE IS THE FOOD?" Thankfully, it finally arrived, but it was nowhere near worth the wait. Was it good? Yes. It was very tasty, but you can't be in the restaurant business if you can't make a good BLT or a good pancake. We ordered entrees with 0 degree of difficulty.
