My visit was enjoyable and I liked checking out the shop and learning a little bit more of the company. Everyone else here was also professional and courteous. Whew... definitely not the best experience. I randomly flew into LA hoping to pick up a pair of glasses, but before I could even get inside, the security guard basically told me to go to another store and was incredibly rude. I've shopped at Chrome Hearts in NYC, Miami, and Malibu, and I've always had a great experience. This location, however, was by far the worst. I've been a Chrome Hearts customer for over 15 years, and this was one of the most disappointing experiences I've ever had. Maybe you should just stop taking appointments altogether and only serve celebrities and ultra-wealthy clients. The store had almost nothing available, and even the few items displayed in the cases were be told "display only." Employees were covered in Chrome Hearts from head to toe, yet customers were told that nothing was for sale. After standing where they told us to stand, and then reprimanded by another staff/security person that we weren't standing in the right place, waited in line 20 minutes past our appointment time only to get into the store to find they had NO inventory. I'm not sure why they even stay open because there was nothing to sell. They don't even have samples to look at so you could possibly order later. This store is so full of themselves. Why make it so hard to visit, check my ID, yell at us for standing where you tell us and then have nothing to shop for? I've owned Chrome Hearts glasses for way over ten years and have loved them. However, my recent experience has tarnished my love for Chrome Hearts. I bought my latest pair, Sluss Bussin' II about a year ago. They're very stylish frames. They're sunglasses, but I used them as my main pair of prescription glasses. For some reason, one then the other sterling silver pieces at the ends of the temple bars fell off. Luckily, I didn't lose them. I pushed them back on, but they fell off again. I tried once more, but couldn't really get them on properly, so they were very uncomfortable and cut into my ears. I took them to Chrome Hearts to repair them properly. After a long time, they called and told me that they could repair them, but it would cost over $400 and take about two months to repair. I declined. I had already spent almost 3 grand on these. My feeling was that a super expensive frame should not break in less than one year and they should have repaired them for free. I now have a pair of Mykita frames and love them. Not as stylish but super light and comfortable. My Chrome Hearts days are over and I'd strongly recommend anyone considering buying Chrome Hearts think twice or more before plunking down all that cash. read more

Entering the store at around 7pm because I heard store can get very busy, I experienced no line or wait time. The doorman got me immediately. The store is impressively big in a very expensive neighborhood. The store is designed like a mansion with big yard and tall door. Chrome Hearts brand name is found on the doorstep of every door. I'm more interested in the clothing section than their jewelry, so I come right to the section. The T shirts smells like somebody just go to the gym with them. Smells yuck! I'm super sanitized aware, so no. I go to other sections and checked them out. The sales associates follow us every where like escorting you. Felt a little intimidating. No photos inside the store; therefore, it's their job to protect the store. Their style is unique as well. The jewelry room with rings and sunglasses is huge. A big table in the middle with a large flower vase which is again impressive. However, the smell of the clothes makes me don't want to buy stuffs in the store. This is not to mention the price of this brand is kind of high for the hype. I do recommend to come here to have a different shopping experience but the store should pay more attention to the smelly clothes. read more

I typically never leave reviews, but my experience at this location feels absolutely necessary to share. This was the absolute WORST customer service I have ever received at ANY luxury establishment. I made an appointment and was greeted by Jay, who then proceeded to stalk me and my girlfriend around the entire store. When I had questions, Jay proceeded to answer them in the least helpful way humanly possible. Every single time I asked about a specific piece, he responded dryly, with as few words as possible and a TON of attitude. Offered no suggestions and it simply felt like he couldn't be bothered. The security guard was nicer and more helpful than our sales associate. I understand this is an edgy, rock based brand but DAMN. I felt extremely unwelcomed, and felt even more terrible for my girlfriend that I'd brought to this store for her first time to show her what chrome hearts is. Honestly cannot believe chrome hearts upper management allows this sort of service at their stores. I've recently gotten into chrome hearts and my go to store is usually the vegas store. I'm from california and vegas so I go back and forth a lot. Recently took a trip to the Hollywood store and got helped by Abby. Already rubbed us the wrong way from the beginning to end but I let it go, but I knew when I came back to shop again, it would definitely had to be with a different rep. We got a pair of sweats for my boyfriend in a large because that's the only size they had. We weren't able to try it on because that was their policy, but was told we can try it on at home and return it if there's any sizing issues. They didn't fit so we called to return it via mail since it is a far drive for us. Come to find out Abby denies our return because there's a "stain" on the inner band and she says it has been worn. My boyfriend literally tried it on for 20 seconds, we figured it's TOO long we bag it up and shipped back. I never thought to check to see if it's dirty or whatever because he only tried it on. Called the store spoke to Abby and she said "it doesn't matter how long you tried it on for, we can't take it back." Not sure how all the other associates are here, but definitely should have went with our first instinct and asked for help from another rep. Stay away from Abby! Security out front were real cool and nice and we spoke briefly to another guy who worked there that was pleasant. Other than any LA item they have, probably won't be returning to this location. They probably don't care as chrome hearts is already so hyped but I'd you get a chance.. I would recommend ANY of the vegas locations.
