Limited and app priced street parking in this downtown corner make for awkward entry but I found a quick and happy shop that whipped up a fruity pebbles match real quick! So good! This is a great place for Indianapolis and will have to try more of the menu.

Awesome little coffee shop with super creative drinks. I've gone the past 2 days and ordered: - the chronic - might be the perfect coffee concoction. If you like sbucks iced shaken espresso this is the one for you. Even better, the ice cubes were frozen coffee!!! It's the gift that just keeps giving. - elf's brew - cold brew with eggnog and cinnamon. Simple but very effective seasonal drink to get you in the holiday spirit. So good! Plenty of food options too. I've had the croissants which are always a good combo with coffee. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very friendly service and a dog friendly spot too![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I've tried this place multiple times, love the service! The owner was truly accommodating with some delta 8 alternatives and the baristas are sweeties! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance of the place is chill, quaint and quirky![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Now, idk if I'm the problem but not a lot of coffee places make matcha with a good balance of sweetness, that's the only downfall for me! I ask for sweetness and it's still always bitter. Which is totally customizable and could be dependent on my delta 8 addition!

There's a few drinks I'd like to go back and try. The barista was super cool and patient. [[HIGHLIGHT]]discovered this cozy costa-rican coffee shop after getting lost downtown (shoutout to construction! for.. the first time, ever... ) and WHAT. A. GEM.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] the menu is a little eccentric, highlighting house-made cold foams like cherry cordial and vanilla hemp, paired with unique flavor profiles like banana bread, reese's puffs, and ube! while the menu itself isn't large, they do have a variety of flavors and a very well-trained staff. As a first-time customer, I had no idea what to order, but the barista (hi Rollo ) helped me narrow down a few options and they did not dissapoint! I tried the heisenberg (a shaken espresso with milk + sweetener), the big papi (a coconut frappe), some vanilla hemp cold foam (a house favorite), and the peanut butter cold foam. Between the four, I found myself eating spoonfuls of the pb cold foam the same way you would eat the last bites of ice cream out of the container.. it was fresh, light, and so so smooth. I could *not* get enough! hopefully the limit of cold foam on a drink doesn't exist at Chronic, because I have plans to order the big papi with about 1 cup of peanut butter cold foam sitting right on top

This cute little coffee shop was on the top of my list of places to try while I was at a conference in Indianapolis. It's a shame I only made it here once as I would have loved to try more things from their menu. I enjoyed everything that I did get to try and the other people in my group all said the same. I had the Ube Matcha Latte, a Spinach and Cheese Empanada, and the Acai Bowl. The food was great, but the latte was definitely the highlight! Unique and really lovely flavor. I was also really impressed with the speed and efficiency that the woman working by herself managed everything. None of us waited very long for our orders, including the people that arrived after us. I would highly recommend this place if you're in the area!

I had the matcha Ube latte. My drink was incredibly delicious! It was very refreshing and flavorful. The barista was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I visited a couple of times while working in Indy and was really impressed. The feta and egg empanada was delicious, especially paired with the tangy green sauce it came with. I also tried "The Chronic"--a double espresso with caramel, coffee cubes, and vanilla cold foam--which was expertly crafted. Service can be a bit slow since there's usually only one person working (being a cashier, making the beverages, warming the food, etc.), but it's definitely worth the wait. Had a delightful morning trying Chronic Coffee for the first time. I was warmly greeted by the owner. He was so personable and we ended up talking a majority of time since business was slow. He recommended the Chronic which is a double espresso. I had it iced because I am an iced coffee girly even in the winter. It came with a giant ice cubes like you would find in an old fashion. The coffee shop is small but the decor is so much fun. They also display work from local artists. I really enjoyed my coffee and the conversation. I highly recommend visiting Chronic Coffee.

Chronic Coffee was awesome. Amazing hidden gem coffee shop in Indy. You NEED to try it. They have so many great espresso drinks on the menu. It was hard to decide what to get. I ended up getting the Heisenberg. It was delicious. I also got the blueberry bagel and a cream cheese brownie. Both were great. It's a very cozy location on Virginia avenue. Inside is very small, but there's a lot of bright sun. The staff were all very friendly and the service was quick. Easy five stars. Everything was great. I will be back to try more of their espresso drinks. This place should be more hyped up.

Love this little place!! Went in there for my morning coffee today and goodness did it deliver! I got the Cordially Chronic and two egg bites. The coffee was a chocolate cold brew topped with cherry cold foam- I saw her in the back literally hand crushing cherries to put in my cold foam. The egg bites were the best I've ever had (and I'm an egg bite fiend). They were topped with some sort of Mac and cheese powder it seemed like? Never seen that before, but it made it salty and savory and perfect. The barista was so nice! Definitely added a smile to my day. The place is small, but very well decorated with lots of little things to buy if you want- cards and mugs and trinkets. There are so many plants and neon signs it is so aesthetic. Even in their small space, there are 3 or 4 different seating options- even a hanging chair! There is street parking right outside that was super easy to find and pay for, and it's right by all the new stuff at Gainbridge!! Will be back!!

We were out walking the dogs and the neon sign of Chronic Coffee caught our eye on a gloomy, rainy day. The place is quaint with a warm modern feel. Chelsea was so nice. She walked us through what she thought was really good. Based on previous menus, it appears that they have a vast selection of specialty coffee but change out the main board. That's a great business! The coffee options are great and really tasty. The price for a coffee is equivalent to Starbucks. Highly recommend. read more

This was probably my favorite place we stopped at while in Indy recently! I found it on Yelp (ty) when looking for smoothies in the area. We were staying at JW Marriott. It wasn't too far from the hotel and we wanted to try something local versus all of the Starbucks and other chains closer to us. The employee was very friendly and the smoothies we got were delicious! While we didn't try any of the coffee, I'd be happy to come back here next time I'm in town. The vibes were chill and lots of fun little trinkets and cool items for sale like tarot cards. Sweet lil spot downtown for sure! read more

I had high hopes. Seeing the reviews, I thought that I'd give this place a try. The coffee was fine, but nothing special. No craftsmanship into it. I went in to order a cappuccino......I asked for a "traditional cappuccino....are you familiar with that?" The barista responded, "oh, yes, absolutely." Then proceeded to make me a latte with a triple shot of espresso. Was kind enough to remake it, but that wasn't really noteworthy. I would have been much better off sticking to Georgia Street Grind. Maybe the positive reviews are more focused on cbd products and perhaps some vibe elements (?), but if truly good coffee is what you're looking for, unfortunately (in my opinion) this isn't it. read more

Awesome shop with vibrant art from local artists. Some seating inside and outside. Has some tabletop games. I personally don't drink a lot of coffee so the menu was a bit too unique for me to understand (I just ordered Lavender Latte) but they have a lot of variations. Seems like locals love this spot. I feel like we found a hidden gem! It is conveniently around the corner from our hotel but worth the drive if you aren't as lucky. They had a huge array of options and specialty drinks as well as smoothies. It's a tiny little place tucked away by the Indy culture trail and it does have some outdoor seating. read more

I'm a big fan of their matcha latte! It's very refreshing and tasty. Price can be little on higher side but their portion is bigger so no big issue. THIS PLACE HAS CBD IN THEIR DRINKS. Me and my friend went to this coffee shop for an afternoon coffee and had no idea that they would be cbd in their coffees nor did i think this was legal in indiana. the barista didn't even card and us and was overall a bad experience. the expresso was awful, the drinks were watery and not what we expected. do not go here. read more

Awesome coffee drinks and delicious breakfast treats. Even more awesome people! Went on two separate occasions and had the pleasure of meeting everyone. They can make you anything. For a vacation coffee drinker who knows very little they set me up with just the right drinks. Even an experienced traveler like Jack Hallahan of Swimming World magazine fame could not resist multiple visits while in town for the Olympic swimming prelims. 10/5 stars - the coffee itself is excellent, pairs wonderfully with their empanadas (get the Guava Cream Cheese!), and the ambiance is fun. Besides the coffee base being great, the flavored options include the standard and the unique. Beyond the the top-knotch product, we had an excellent customer service experience - super nice barista that gave my pup a puppy cup and stickers for my kids (no guarantee for you lol - just sharing my experience). read more

It is the sort of place that feels special the moment you walk in. A lot of people rave about the beautiful space, and quite right too. The shop has a gorgeous, old-world feel in a historic Fountain Square building, plenty of seating, and a lovely outdoor area that is very dog friendly. The staff always boast a delightful disposition that makes you want to smile and enjoy the rest of your day as well. As for the coffee, I love the iced Mayan Mocha. It is like a mocha with a kick and extra flavour depth, and it is absolutely delicious. The dark chocolate, honey, cinnamon, and cayenne give it a little warmth and complexity without losing the joy of a proper iced coffee treat. They also have some really high-end pastries to choose from. I love the lemon loaf, and some of the more complex, unique pastries make it feel a bit more elevated than the average coffee stop. Overall, it is clean, beautiful, welcoming, and always worth the return visit.

My aunt and I have made it a point to stop in every-time we're in Indy, and have never been disappointed. I typically stick to their iced chai, which is very refreshing and one of my favorites. The baristas are also very friendly and great with suggestions when needed. 10/10 recommend!

It is right downtown in a cool location on the second floor of a building, with a restaurant below, which gives it a slightly tucked-away charm. Inside, there is tons of seating and space, so it feels relaxed and inviting rather than cramped. The staff was so nice, which always makes a coffee stop feel more welcoming. I really liked my iced mocha, and they also had a nice variety of other drinks and pastries on offer. Overall, a lovely little cafe and one I would happily visit again.

It can be quite loud so keep that in mind if you want a quieter reflection time, and maybe take it to go or sit outside. They have various food items but I absolutely LOVE their peanut butter energy balls! In fact that is why I came to this location as this is where the magic happens. They make them here and send them to other Tinker locations! They are the perfect blend of savory and a tad sweet and go super well with their coffee and/or London Fog tea. Yum! I will freely admit to buying all they had on hand, and now can enjoy them at home. Yay! It is a very busy spot so not the friendliest of staff, but assumed they were already hassled from the morning. It was a great spot to meet a friend and enjoy the patio and some tea/coffee. She was great at communicating when I walked in that she needed a few minutes and then would be able to help me too. Another time I went with my parents on a late morning Saturday. My mom and I both loved our drinks, but we knew what to order. There were multiple people working behind the counter, but the barista taking orders was not friendly or very helpful on this particular day. My dad did not know what to order and asked what tea is refreshing and is one that the barista would recommend. The barista said that the green tea is really popular, but did not ask whether he wanted it hot or iced or give a recommendation for that. The tea came out hot on a hot day where we planning to walk the Monon and check out other local businesses. To be fair, I did ask him if he wanted me to ask for the drink to be remade or to get him a new one as I had overheard his order and also assumed it would be coming out iced. He said it was fine (but then complained on our walk). This was a bit disappointing. There have been times I have walked out after a few minutes of no acknowledgement from baristas here. It is not a cafe that I would want to sit in and work in as a lot of the space does not look workable. The last time I did come in with papers I planned to read in between appointments, I did not want to put my bag on the floor or my papers on a table because both were dirty. The book page wall has seen better days and would benefit from a revamp. I love the outdoor area though and the can tops are really cool. There is a lot of potential here, but when staff appears like they do not want to be there it makes customers not want to be there either. I would also urge the owners to be more receptive to criticism. The TikTok videos about Prufrock did not influence my review, but it did encourage me to leave my own review based on my own experiences.

And I felt like I needed to replenish my vitamin K reserves, so I got the sesame kale salad, which is kale, thinly sliced radish, red onion, cilantro, jalapeño slices, a sunflower and sesame seed crumble, and a sesame-ginger vinaigrette. It was delicious! You can add an egg or chicken or salmon, but I don't think it needs any of those. If I had to do it all again, I'd ask for light dressing, because they were a little heavy-handed with the dressing on this salad. Isn't that always the way?! Restaurants need to cool it with the dressing, in my opinion. To be honest, the booze situation at Rize is a little anemic, but I don't think Rize is really the place to order anything alcoholic beyond a mimosa or bloody Mary. I got a screwdriver: freshly squeezed orange juice and vodka, and I'm still wondering where the vodka went. It did not visit my screwdriver, I tell you what. The seating inside Rize feels like it's at a premium, because depending on when you visit, there is very little of it. When I visited, almost every table was occupied, and the place was echoing with conversation. I chose to sit outside, which I'd recommend, if you can! It's so nice to sit and eat a good meal outdoors. How many times do we get to eat outdoors in Indiana? Just go outside, if you can.

A perfectly cooked sunny side up egg topped it off. My wife had Eggs Benedict with heirloom tomato slices swapped for the English muffin. It looked amazing. One tip... coffee is $5, but so is cold brew or a cappuccino. They may not be bottomless, but we both upgraded from the drip coffee for the same price.

My favorite coffee shop in Indy! Owned by the nicest family. The only coffee shop in Indy that sells Costa Rican coffee and it's the best coffee ever! They have a good variety of croissant sandwiches and have partnered with another local business, Che Chori, to sell the best empanadas ever! Shop is cozy and always has great music and a great vibe! So cute. So friendly. Great vibe and always chill music going. They love pups. My pup loves the complementary gourmet pup cup with a bone on top. I never had Costa Rican coffee until now and I'm addicted! They even use coffee cubes for their cold brew so no watering it down whatsoever.
